05/28/2021 Oh WOW!!! I loved “All In” (nook) and read it in one sitting. Staying up until 3 a.m. was worth it. Luke and Lyra were marvelous individuals who were immediately attracted to each other. Families were important to them and I like that that was an integral part of the story. I was kept on-the-edge-of-my-seat due to all of the danger Luke and Lyra, and their families, were in. Thank goodness for a HEA.
This has been in my TBR file for almost a year and I finally got around to reading it. I wonder now why it took me so long. This is a well written story with great characters. Lori Ryan always gives me a wonderful story. For me this was a quick easy read for me. I would encourage everyone to get this one especial if you enjoy military romances. Give this one a chance.
Sleeper SEALs Rock!! This story was soooo good!! It was like being on a roller coaster ride with all it ups and downs. The suspense and action kept me riveted to my seat while the relationship between Luke & Lyra while was fraught with interruptions, (LOL), it was sweet and sexy. The twins were a great bonus also. I love romantic suspense stories that keep you guessing and this one did not disappoint!!
Good but not great. An Ok book.
Awesome book
Enjoyed this story from the beginning to the end. Loved it.
Great read! You can’t go wrong with a book written by Lori Ryan. She always delivers!
Fast reading – couldn’t put it down!
I love This story!
Enjoyable fun read.
Great characters loved the twins. Good suspense to the very end.
I enjoyed the characters and the story line. Women love a sexy alpha male with a soft spot for children! Also love a strong female character; smart, protective and caring.
this story is the kind of story I just love. Lots going on in each chapter. But nothing like a happy ever after. Especially during this covid shut in which is hard on everyone but nothing beats a good book to read. Try this I think you will enjoy – I sure did.
“All In” was an action packed thrill ride! The narrative was interesting and believable. Lori Ryan’s characters were revealed through various methods of characterization and had chemistry while hinting at romance. I liked it.
Great read kept your interest, hard to put down,
I did like the fact that the single mom had biracial twin girls and spoke of the different treatments her girls will receive.
A romantic suspense story to keep you turning the pages. Well written and easy to read with lots of action.
I really liked All In and the dedication that Luke had when deciding to leave the Teams to raise his niece. He left what he loved most to become a parent to Naomi So that his brother could finish his commitment to the SEALs. But when Greg Lambert calls him to offer a chance to stop a online auction willing to sell information to the highest bidder, he doesn’t hesitate to say yes.
Little does he know that he’ll meet a widow, Lyra Hill who is raising her bi-racial twins on her own but she doesn’t know that she’ll soon be a big part of his life. He takes a job as a maintenance super but when all signs lead him back to Lyra it will take his brother and friends from Sutton Capitol to find the real culprit whose greed for money that is willing to kidnap everyone he loves. Will he find the girls in time before they are killed? Can he convince Lyra he wasn’t using her to find the leader of the auction and that she’s become his heart and soul?
Most of all even the smallest and bravest is little Prentiss who escapes and leaves a trail to find her Lyra and sister because we all know even super heroes need a sidekick. She alone is worth the accolades and one very smart 4-year-old who helps being the bad guys to their knees and stop sensitive information from being sold to the highest bidder.
This book is what it’s all about. The threats that can come from inside, the power of computers and the way innocents can be implicated.
Luke is suffering from empty nest syndrome. His niece Naomi has headed off to college and he is at loose ends. This mission is exactly what he though he needed to feel useful again.
Lyra is the single mom of twins. Now that in itself is a challenge but she also has flexible hours with her job as a software developer with a company owned by a friend of her brother.
Luke goes undercover as the maintenance person of Lyra’s building. A perk, the apartment that goes with the job is across the hall from Lyra. Now while the data they have is pointing to her, Luke can’t quite believe she is involved, at least not consciously.
As Luke searches for the leader of the plot, the evidence becomes more damning.
Even as he falls for his suspect, he just knows it isn’t her. He just has to figure out who, how and when.
A page turner with lots of suspense, some heat and plenty of excitement.
What does a retired Seal do when his entire life has changed for the second time? The first time was when he quit to raise his niece, Naomi. When a car accident took the life of his mother, sister & brother in law leaving his niece the only survivor, Luke knew what he had to do. He took the safe path to raise her & take care of her. Now, she’s off to college & he realizes just how boring his life has become. He’s approached about going undercover to investigate a chat room on the internet that looks suspicious. During the investigation, he becomes close to the suspect, Lyra, & her twin 4 year old daughters. Could she really be involved with this? Why does he have to be attracted to her?
This is a wonderful romantic suspense story! The plot is fast paced with twists & unexpected happenings. The characters are well developed & three dimensional. The author’s descriptive way of writing brings the story to live in the readers mind. The attraction between Lyra & Luke is hot & intense! This is one book in a series about “Sleeper Seals” written by several different authors. I think I need to go check some of the others out!
