Reeling from her loss, Kacey Dawson is grieving and heartbroken, her addictive demons hauling her back into the alcohol-soaked abyss she worked so hard to crawl out of. Kacey teeters on the edge of oblivion, and must fight her way through the pain, to build a new life for herself with her music, and somehow fulfill the promise she made to Jonah…one she feels is impossible to keep.Theo Fletcher … Fletcher has a secret burning in his heart, one that he holds close, while he struggles to keep strong for his family that is falling apart. His mother’s health is fragile and his father’s disapproval is breaking him down. Theo is afraid if he follows his heart, he’ll fail, and not just himself, but his brother who believed in him when no one else did.
Drawn together by their pain, Theo and Kacey slowly build a friendship, re-forge old ties, help each other to heal, and give one another the courage to reach for their dreams. Together, from the depths of grief and guilt, they learn to laugh again, to trust again, and quite possibly find something beautiful and lasting amid the shattered pieces of their broken hearts.

An ocean of never-ending tears.
I miss Jonah. Oh how I miss him. I will always miss Jonah. Goddammit, I can’t even get three sentences out without the tears starting up again, I thought I cried them all out last night. They started at the prologue and continued long after I finished reading. Emma Scott slays me, she literally slays me with her stories.
My heart was breaking, and healing, and breaking all over again, right along with Kacey’s and Theo’s as they tried so desperately to work through their grief over losing Jonah. I honestly felt like I was going through everything with them- I felt their pain, their heartache, their despair. I relived every single memory-both happy and sad. At times I wasn’t sure I was strong enough to survive the sadness. But I did. And they did. And All In was everything I could have hoped for, it was everything I could have wanted for Kacey and Theo.
There’s a poem, I’m sure everyone has heard it or read it before~ the first line is “People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.” After finishing All In, that poem really resonated with me. Kacey was Jonah’s Reason and his Season, but she’s Theo’s Lifetime and he is hers.
This book is a fantastic follow-up to an amazing book. I absolutely loved the first book in the series and this book was just as amazing. I absolutely hated that we had to let go of Jonah to a certain extent, but as they say time stops for no one. Even though Kacey was the drowned girl she was surrounded by the right people and I’m glad they tried to help her. I’m glad things worked out for both Kacey and Theo. They were so lost and fighting their battles in their own way and they both deserved to get what they wanted out of life. I loved this series and I recommend everyone giving it a try. This series will definitely be recommended to all of my book friends.
