After a devastating loss, Rafe swore he’d never risk his heart again. Yet the longer they pretend to be engaged the more Rafe starts to want the real thing. Great start to the Christmas season!
Two really sweet Christmas stories that take place in idyllic little towns. Getting ready to get that tree and baubles out of storage!
If you are in the mood for a Christmas love story, then this is a great choice! Kaitlyn Barnes thinks she can get over her longtime crush on Rafe Langdon but then she finds out she is pregnant. Kaitlyn wants this baby, but what will Rafe want? Join their story in the quaint town of Angel Falls as Christmas approaches.
After an accidental night of passion when they are somewhat drunk and stuck together in a blackout, Kaitlyn Barnes and Rafe Langdon find themselves expecting a baby. Rafe has issues about falling in love again since his first love died in an automobile accident on the way to an ob appointment. Even though they have been friends for many years, Kaitlyn does not see Rafe as a dependable father for her baby. When they attempt to tell Rafe’s family about the baby, his family assumes that they are engaged! What a muddle they go through on their way to a happy ever after
This is an enjoyable tale of two people that discover their friendship has turned into something far deeper. And there is an adorable puppy to boot!
Well, this was lovely.
We have Kaitlyn and Rafe, they’ve known each other for years and have a beautiful friendship… until she gets pregnant, and things turn difficult, lol.
I loved both of these guys, they were committed to their families and friends, and now to this new baby. They weren’t quite sure where they were with each other, except parents now, but it was obvious they had deeper feelings than they let on.
It was fun to read them trying to figure out if they were a couple, how to handle the baby news, and aside all the quirks of a small town where everybody knows your business, lol.
This was super lovely, in a super lovely small town.
P.S: Loved the covers in this series, btw.
*Thank you to the author for providing a copy for which I’m giving my honest opinion*
This is a wonderful love story. A hurt and disenchanted fireman who has secretly loved Kaitlyn for years, but even he didn’t realize it as he built a wall around his heart after his fiance and baby died 10 years prior. But Kaitlyn loved Rafe too and they were just best friends until one drunken rendezvous and an unplanned pregnancy caught them by surprise. Amazing how they work through the brick walls and family issues in their life. You’ll enjoy reading this!
Favorite Quotes:
No wonder you two are… um, expecting. That is some positively ferocious chemistry! Lordie, pass me a fan!
Such a hardworking, practical woman, who gets up at four-thirty every morning to open her grandpa’s café. Yet she wears the most filmy, lacy underwear with a tiny satin bow. That is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.
My Review:
Start with a surprise pregnancy and add in a troubled and sticky-fingered relative, a sexy yet traumatized and apprehensive baby-daddy, a crafty grandmother, a playful rescued puppy, and a missing recipe needed for a competition and coffee shop owner Kaitlyn’s cup is overflowing, and she can’t even drink the coffee. I have enjoyed every installment of the Angel Falls series, and adore the Langdon’s tight-knit and loving family. The characters are responsible, thoughtful, and likable human beings who are realistically flawed and a bit frayed around the edges yet hard-working, kind, and lovable. Kaitlyn and Rafe’s storylines were well-balanced overall as they swung between angsty inner turmoil and a tender sweet and steamy romance. Ms. Liasson’s writing style is easy to fall into and follow, yet is craftily paced with expert storytelling and emotive word choices that hit and hold the perfect emotional tones between well-placed bursts of levity and a gentle and caring romance that squeezes all the feels.
This book is a small town family filled friends-to-lovers romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. Kaitlyn and Rafe have been best friends for years and while Kaitlin would like to take the next step in their relationship, Rafe refuses to let his frozen heart commit to anything more than being besties. Little does he know that his big Italian family, especially his grandmother, is bound and determined to push them closer together during their pre-holiday traditions to play not-always-subtle matchmaking elves. I’m in romance heaven when an author writes a compelling storyline with characters whose story takes me through a myriad of emotions and Ms. Liasson’s books always deliver. I loved this delightful story, and the othr books in the Angel Falls series, because reading it made me feel like I was wrapped up in a fleecy blanket and the snow was already falling outside my window. I’m more than ready to read more holiday books and to celebrate the upcoming Christmas season. I read an early copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.
4.5 stars
This is the last book in the Angel Falls series and centers around Rafe Langdon and Kaitlyn Barnes. Kaitlyn and Rafe have been friends for 20 years and have been fighting their attraction to each other. In the last book, they attended a wedding together and got tipsy and ended up hooking up. Rafe has been avoiding Kaitlyn for the past month and they are both miserable. Of course, despite using two forms of birth control, Kaitlyn ends up pregnant. Both Kaitlyn and Rafe have to get past their issues (her abandonment by her father, his losing his pregnant fiancée) before they get to their happily ever after. Both Kaitlyn and Rafe are likable, but flawed characters and I enjoyed watching them grow into a great couple. This was a great series and I will miss Angel Falls.
I have been waiting for Rafe & Kaitlyn’s story since reading the first book in this series and this story did not disappoint! I loved it. Both Rafe & Kaitlyn communicated openly and honestly as adults in a relationship should. Very emotional but uplifting too. This can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend reading the whole wonderful series.
I loved this most recent installment in the Angel Falls series! Rafe Langdon has sworn he will never love again after his young fiancé, pregnant with his child, dies on her way to get an ultrasound. He believes love will lead to painful loss. Kaitlyn Barnes has been in love with her friends’ brother Rafe for a very long time. They have become the best of friends until one night at a wedding they take their friendship to the next level when the lights go out… Rafe is staying clear of Kaitlyn and his growing feelings for her (that he refuses to acknowledge) but he can’t stay away once she tells him that their one night resulted in a baby! On top of that, Rafe’s grandma makes them promise to get married which they agree to tell her until she feels better. Their charade quickly begins to feel real and Rafe and Kaitlyn have to figure out if they can make it for the long haul. This was a great book!
All I Want For Christmas is You
Angel Falls Series Book 3 (can be read as a standalone)
Miranda Liasson
Sweet sweet heartwarming Christmas romance book!! Love the characters. Love the puppy. Very well written. Kept my interest throughout.
Loved this Christmas story!
Recommend.
All I Want for Christmas is book 3 in the Angel Falls series. I did not read these books in order and personally had no issues connecting with the story and falling in love with the characters in this book.
Rafe and Kaitlyn have been friends forever. They had too many drinks at a wedding and give in to their attraction. They are having a hard time going to back to what they were before and then life deals them a curve ball…
Do to a tragedy in his past Rafe is having a hard to letting Kaitlyn in. Kaitlyn in turn doesn’t want to force herself on anyone, no matter what the circumstances are.
This is a wonderful Christmas small town romance that leaves the reader with that warm cozy feeling.
This was a super sweet, really entertaining, feel-good story that left me smiling and happy. I had so much fun reading it and enjoyed Rafe and Kaitlyn navigating their way through the ups and downs. It was a great story!

All I Want for Christmas is book 3 in the Angel Falls series by Miranda Liasson and a great Christmas story about Rafe and Kaitlyn that’s filled with puppy love, laughter, healing past hurts, unplanned pregnancy, friends to lovers and so much more. Sometimes when you finally accept that you will always remain friends fate steps in and shows you that your heart really knows who and what it wants!
What an awesome series Angel Falls is!! Each book can be read as a standalone but reading in order gives a perfect lead in of all the characters involved and how they interconnect.
Laughter may be the best medicine, but a few teardrops are good for cleansing the soul. Liasson basks in the sunshine while sprinkling in some rain. All I Want For Christmas is You presents the best of both worlds. Rafe and Kaitlyn take on the what ifs moments with a pure dash of heart and a handful of pain. Will heartache lead to a second chance or will pride spell the end for two battered hearts? Emotion takes on humor with a spellbinding kind of irresistible.
All I Want for Christmas is You is a wonderful Christmas read. I really enjoyed Kaitlyn and Rafe’s friends-to-lovers romance. The banter between them was entertaining and I liked Rafe’s family, especially Nonna.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy from NetGalley.
I loved returning to Angel Falls and the Langdon family. I really liked this book about Kaitlyn Barnes and Rafe Langdon. From best friends to spending a night together their lives will forever be entwined.
Miranda Liasson wove a wonderful, Christmas story full of hope, heartache, love, and an unexpected pregnancy. This story touched my heart as Rafe has to face his past losses and heartache and decide if he can take down the walls surrounding his heart.
I enjoyed the banter between Rafe and Kaitlyn and I also enjoyed Rafe’s grandmother, Nonna. She is quite a matchmaker and I liked the antics she would go to to try and get Rafe and Kaitlyn together.
The story also was about the importance of family and being there for each other in good times and bad times and through struggles. Throw in a fun, cookie contest and a cute puppy named Bandit and I could not put the Christmas story down. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
I can’t tell you how much I’ve loved this series. Angel Falls has been a place I’ve enjoyed visiting. I’ve heard rumblings that this is the last book in the series and if that’s the case I have to say I’m a little sad. I’m hoping that if we do leave Angel Falls we find someplace that’s equally nice to visit.
One of the things I’ve loved about this series is the great covers. Each other is better than the last. I loved this one and can honestly say that if I had never read Liasson before this cover would have drawn me in.
Up this time we have Kaitlyn and Rafe. These two have been friends for what seems like forever. That’s what happens when you live in a small town and your sisters bring friends around. I really loved their friendship. It was comfortable and easy. Or at least it was until someone ended up pregnant. Like you don’t know who that someone is. Only of them have to parts to carry a baby so this is pretty easy to figure out.
I like how both of them are torn on what to do and how to handle everything. But when Rafe’s nonna falls ill they decide that they are getting married. Silly Rafe and Kaitlyn. I think they are the only two who don’t see that they are truly in love.
I get Rafe’s issues and why he feels he needs to stay alone. You’ll get it too when you read this story. But come on…really!!!
Their relationship might have been rocky as hell but you still saw how much they loved each other and didn’t want to see the other hurt. I just kept waiting for Rafe to get a clue. The man had a wall up so thick you could knock on it and hear nothing.
I also enjoyed how Kaitlyn worked on her relationship with her niece. It wasn’t easy at times and the girl had so issues but over time she, along with the town was able to help her understand her worth.
During the book, Kaitlyn is looking for a recipe of her grandfathers so it’s talked about a lot. I haven’t yet tried it but plan on doing so soon. I love when books talk about food/cookie/drink and then give you the recipe.
I will mention that All I Want for Christmas is You (do you also hear music when you say the title?) but for me, it reads better after you’ve read the other two books in the Angel Falls series. It flows better.
