“Witty, sexy and heartfelt small-town romance that is entertaining as well as emotionally satisfying.” ~ Mary, USA Today HEA It took me years to get over my fiancé sleeping with another woman. I thought my luck with men had finally turned around until I walked in on my new fiancé with my maid-of-honor.I’m done with men entirely. I’m definitely old enough to know better than to let that happen to … old enough to know better than to let that happen to me again. Trust isn’t something I have in me to give… to anyone. At least, not anymore.
Besides, even if I wanted to give someone my everything, I have nothing left to give.
The moment I laid eyes on Ellie, I knew she’d be full of spit and vinegar. And why wouldn’t she be? She’d just caught her fiancé with her maid of honor – and they weren’t chatting about the upcoming nuptials.
I can’t help but push her buttons, she’s sexy as hell when she’s fired up. Or cooking dinner with Miss Polly, or… well, any time, really. Maybe having her work for me in my vet clinic wasn’t the smartest move I’ve ever made considering I can’t stop my body from aching for her.
She said she was done with men entirely, that she’s broken. Still, I can’t help but hope that she realizes she’s All I Need.

This is my first book by Jennifer Van Wyk, I can honestly say, it will NOT be my last. For me personally, this book took on a whole new caliper. I absolutely adored it. Everything about it. This author knows how to write about swoony heroes and strong sassy heroines that have been put through the ringer, and fight their way out of it. I am a sucker for pets as well, add in a hunk of man and add in some of the funniest one liners and it’s a wrap for me. All I need is also told in DUAL POV, so we get to get inside Walker and Ellie’s head as well.
Walker is this amazing guy, with this ginormous heart that has more love to give than you could ever fathom. His gentleness with pets, and his giving heart knows no bounds. Family is his everything.
Ellie has been burned in the relationship department more than once, but catching her fiance on their wedding day with a her maid of honor, really takes the cake. Trust has always been an issue with Ellie, because not only did she grow up feeling detached, every person that has been in her life has done her dirty, and for that, she is over people in general and is not willing to put herself out there for people to trample over her heart anymore. But let’s not get it twisted, she gives hell right back.
Throw in the fairy godmother also known as Miss Polly and a 15 year old boy, and things really get going. There was some things that I really didn’t see coming, that shocked the crap out of me. So the surprise value of it left me with my mouth gaping open. Overall I sincerely enjoyed this story. I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.
*I definitely recommend All I Need by Jennifer Van Wyk.

The fire that burns bright in their hearts is nothing compared to the doubts each holds within. Can heartache be overcome by the burning embers of attraction? Van Wyk presses play on an emotion packed tale of lust, love and heartbreak. All I Need is a celebration of love’s power to mend a broken heart, even as the pressures of life seek to pull us down. Love cuts both ways. Wyk shows how from the depths of pain can come the footprints to forever.

First: WALKER IS MINE!
“I want to kiss her. As in, bend her backwards, change our lives forever with a kiss that leaves us both breathless and aching for more, kiss her.”
Hot damn, Walker. You make me melt.
I wish I could share more quotes, but I don’t want to give anymore of Walker’s words away.
Second: the actual review…
If you’ve followed me for at least six months, then you’ve probably seen my reviews for Jennifer Van Wyk’s books. I discovered her this year and I knew with the completion of one book that I had another author for me to obsess over and creep on.
And my love for JVW continues to grow. This is by far my favorite of her books.
One of my favorite things about JVW books is that there isn’t an instant relationship, or the characters don’t just jump into bed with each other. There’s a friendship and a budding relationship prior to a sexual relationship.
I like that two people experience this powerful lust and don’t jump into bed seconds after they kiss or make out once. It’s relatable. I want to read books that would relate to me. I’m not going to meet someone and jump straight into bed with them because that’s not me. I want to find a book that could make me feel like I could actually find love. Make me believe. Jen does that.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for some smut in books. I love the smut. But there are certain times for it. Am I rambling? Talking in circles? Probably. And I’m sorry. I’ll try to get back on track.
All I Need is a story about a woman who has been betrayed twice before, heading towards a selfless man who thinks of his family before himself. This book is fun and flirty but has a heartwarming and emotional side to it as well. You get it all with Walker and Ellie.
This is a story that you don’t want to miss! Make sure you add it to your TBRs to discover your next book boyfriend!
I think this is Jennifer Van Wyk’s best book yet!
All I Need takes place in the same town that her other books are mainly set in (Liberty). It follows Walker, a veteranarian who has devoted the majority of his adult like to helping his twin sister raise her son, and Ellie, who has been engaged twice. And been cheated on. Twice. They meet on the side of the road when Ellie is about to destroy last fiance’s car. With a golf club (good for her!). Walker can feel that Miss Polly is just what Ellie needs, and this brings her home. Walker does a good job of giving Ellie time to adjust, but knows that she is all he needs. And she is.
Jennifer Van Wyk crafted a wonderful plot (with a twist that I hadn’t expected!) and set it with some great characters. I loved Walker with his patience. Ellie’s resilience, Miss Polly’s wisdom, and Grayson’s insight. And I loved the little cameos by past characters, as well!
This is a book that I will read again! And again!
Absolutely amazing! Had me captivated by page 1. Shows you that know matter what life throws at you Love can conquer it. Even if weird circumstances bring two people together.
I love Jennifer’s books. I loved the small town romances. Walker and Ellie’s story is so sweet. I was not expecting the the twist she added. She is becoming one of my favorite authors.
I discovered Jennifer Van Wyk a couple of months ago when I stumbled upon her book “Waiting for Her.” I immediately was drawn to the unique way she adds humor to her books and her overall writing style, which portrays a down-home, small Midwestern town feel.
So when I was offered an ARC of her new book, “All I Need,” I jumped at it. Was so excited and happy to again immerse myself into the town of Liberty, Michigan and the people who live there — people I would love to know!
“All I Need” is about Ellie, a woman who discovers her fiance Gary with her best friend Crystal just one hour before the wedding. This isn’t the first time that Ellie has been cheated on. It happened with her first boyfriend, Michael, too. So she takes off in Gary’s car, driving into the blue, just trying to escape from the fact that she seems to make terrible choices when it comes to men. She pulls over on a country road and starts throwing all of Gary’s things–packed for their honeymoon–out of the car and into the nearby fields. She nearly takes a golf club to his luxury car but is stopped by Walker, a local veterinarian, who just happens to be driving home with his nephew Grayson on that road when Ellie has her meltdown.
Walker talks her out of it, and when he finds out she has no place to go, takes her to a beautiful Victorian house owned by Ms. Polly.
Ellie decides to stay with Ms. Polly for a while to reassess her life. Ms. Polly makes her feel like she’s never felt before–like she really has a home. Walker also helps her see that she is worthy of so much more than the type of men she’s been settling for.
Walker seems to know what Ellie needs at the time she needs it. He introduces her to a quieter, more nature life in the country. He’s romantic, kind, considerate and everything a woman could want in a boyfriend.
Jennifer has a wonderful way of writing that makes you feel like you are a part of the story and the small town of Liberty. Her humor is sprinkled about in her books, sometimes popping up unexpectedly!
Ellie takes a chance on Walker and the outcome is… well, you will just have to read the book to find out! If you’ve never read one of Jennifer Van Wyk’s books, now is the time to take a chance and check out this book!
Perfect
The perfect romance! Two strong, engaging characters, a little outside conflict, and a lot of steam. I want to move to Liberty and live next door to Walker and Ellie!
Another new to me author! I will definitely be reading many more from this author.
This is a story of heartbreak, betrayal, love and hope. I was captivated from the first page to the last. I was not ready for this story to end. Ellie is a runaway bride, after finding her soon to be husband with the made of honor on the wedding day. She was devastated.
Walker a stranger who sees a lady throwing stuff from the car he decides he needs to make sure she is alright and at a good time as she was about to take a golf club to the expensive car. I personally think she should have ignored Walker and done it 😉
I recommend this book to any romance reader. A beautiful written story!
Walker’s my new favorite book friend. Loved everything about this book!
I was instantly hooked in the first chapter! Ellie and Walker are perfect together and all the wonderful side characters help bring this fantastic story together. Ellie has had bad luck with men, trust is not something she gives easily but Walker is so sweet that she can’t help but fall for him. A definite must read in my opinion.
A beautiful romance that makes you feel like you’re reading a Hallmark movie! I’m a sucker for small town romances and second chances. It isn’t a second chance for Ellie with her ex but a second chance at real love. However, she must learn how to trust again after her ex finances(yes plural)broke her heart. She’s had bad luck with men and is through with relationships until she runs into Walker. He’s everything a woman could want and more but can he convince Ellie to give him a shot
When an author can make you swoon, giggle, laugh out loud, cry and so many other emotions just from their words, you know you are reading an amazing book.
Ms. Van Wyk did just that! Ellie and Walker’s story was one that I couldn’t put down. Walker was just swoon-worthy (he has been added to my BFF harem). He was exactly what Ellie needed; this poor girl had been disappointed by so many in her life. When she meets Walker….and can I just say I loved how they met!!!
Throw in some pretty amazing supporting friends/family: Ms. Polly and Grayson (I loved his humor!!!), this is why All I Need gets 5 stars from me!!!! Grab this book, make sure you have the day to read because you won’t want to put it down.

All I Need is a sweet and heartwarming story that proves everyone deserves a happy ending, even if the journey there is anything but.
The only thing worse than your fiancé cheating on you? The fact that it’s the second fiancé to do it! Ellie has lived a life full of heartbreak, and walking in on her fiancé and maid of honor on her wedding day is the last straw. Fleeing the scene, she finds herself in a small town, which may be the place she was always meant to end up.
Walker isn’t expecting to find a gorgeous woman on the side of the road, about to demolish a car. He also isn’t expecting her to be the one to knock him off his feet, and make him reconsider everything about his life. But while she might be everything he needs, it’s obvious love is the last thing she’s looking for right now.
I adored these characters. Ellie, while heartbroken & lost, was strong and full of hope. She has dealt with hurt & betrayal her whole life, but still finds it in her to see the best in people and keep going. Walker is gorgeous, charming, and loyal, putting family before his own life. And he loves animals! Seriously, could he be anymore perfect! Their chemistry is off the charts, every interaction forcing my smile to grow bigger. Miss Polly is the grandmother everyone deserves, and Grayson provided the perfect amount of humor.
This was the second book I’ve read from Jennifer Van Wyk, and I loved it! She has given us another beautiful story, and I cant wait to read more of the town of Liberty and it’s residents.
