From the author of Constant Craving comes a hilarious story about a woman who feels obligated to care for everyone, a sexy Marine who wants to make his first love his forever bride, and a fake wedding proposal that changes everything.Kate Cooper has come home to Paradise Beach to help her mom recover from surgery. After all, who else is going to run the family’s tiki bar? A few months on a … on a Florida island won’t hurt her, even if her memories might.
Then Damien Hastings, her high school crush, walks into the bar one night. He’s stunning. Intense. Way more muscular than when they were in high school. And he can’t take his eyes off Kate.
And when Damien finds out that Kate needs health insurance, he does what any gentleman would: ask her to marry him. He’s going to Syria for a year as a military contractor, and he’s loved her for years. It’s the least he can do.
They didn’t return to fall in love. They didn’t expect to have the best sex of their lives. They didn’t plan on a farting dog or a fake engagement.
But strange and wonderful things often happen on Paradise Beach…

Lovely second chance story, emotional and sexy. Definitely going to check out the series!
Your unrequited crush from high school walks I to your bar…
Its not a joke but the premise of All I Know and the start of the Paradise Beach series. Thos sexy, sweet story is a doozy of a reason for a marriage of convenience. It’s also the romance lovers epic intro to even more hopeful romances.
Clearly, I have my rose colored glasses on! Paradise Beach has me smiling eagerly and excited for more!
3.5 stars
My first book by the author and a very enjoyable read. I love second chance romance and this story hit all the points in my list for a love story.
The only thing that i didn’t enjoy was their dialogue, as it seemed more appropriate for a younger couple and not a 27/28 adult.
Otherwise, it was funny and steamy and a great start to a series.
So this is a second chance story. Kate is back home since her mother is sick and she is working at her mothers bar just waiting to leave that place that she did not have good memories of. Damien is back home on leave and finds Kate working at this bar and these two are instantly attracted to each other. I wasn’t crazy about it, didn’t hate it but wasn’t my favorite. Damien kept calling her girly, yeah I do not find that romantic in the least it is something you say to a friend. Kate is sick and her she has no insurance and is struggling Damien wants to help and asks her to marry him to assist her since he has benefits and if something happens to him she would be covered. Nice thought but these two had feelings for each other and were not mature enough to say. Another thing that bothered me was that at their rehearsal dinner there was someone that used to bully her and yet she never apologized and from what I read didn’t even acknowledge her, yes I know it was years ago but still that hurt was still there and in my opinion had no business being there, those were some of my pet peeves, maybe if there was an acknowledgement and apology I would have gotten over it, but that did not happen..

Could not put this book down. Loved the characters, friendships, struggles, humor, chemistry…
“This hasn’t snowballed out of control. This has careened off a cliff into a canyon, and we’re in a free fall, plunging toward some sort of back-hole…”
Sometimes while you are living through a crazy stage it can feel this way. Hang on and enjoy the crazy ride these two are on. Looking forward to getting to know the other Paradise Beach locals!
All I Know by new to me author Tamara Lush, is a fun read with realistic characters. It takes place in Paradise Beach, an island off the coast of Florida. I love the tropical ambience and how important family is to both of the main characters. Although this is the first book from the Paradise Beach series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone.
Kate Cooper is a graphic designer by trade. When her mother is diagnosed with breast cancer, she leaves the Windy City to look after her and run the family’s tiki bar. Kate is also not in the greatest of health. She has high cholesterol and controls it with blood dialysis, diet, exercise and a very expensive medication. It is Kate and her mom against the sometimes ugly world.
Damien Hastings is a military contractor and he is home for the next few months before he spends a dangerous year in Syria. His family is down to earth, even though they are quite well off. He is an amazing guy and helping others is his true calling. Damien and Kate shared a heated kiss back in high school, and they both have enjoyed it over and over again in their minds since then. They rekindle their respective crushes from the past, yet have a hard time saying the “L” word to each other. Kate and Damien are great together and their chemistry is heart-warming and hot.
I really liked this slightly emotional, nicely-paced romantic read. The characters are well defined and engaging. Chunky, Damien’s brother’s dog, has some funny moments. I grew so found of the characters that I already started the next book in the series.

Second Chance to Love Again. 3.5 Stars
This is the first book in the Paradise Beach series, and the story of Damien, and Kate. Kate is a struggling bartender, trying to keep her Mom’s bar running while trying to maintain her own health, without any medical insurance. Damien is Kate’s first love, and when Damien show up in Kate’s bar, the spark fly, and Damien isn’t going to let Kate get away this time. This was a sweet story, romantic, passionate, intense, steamy, and entertaining. 3.5 Stars
All I Know is a great beach read. It got me hooked quickly and was fast paced. That said I think the ending was a bit too fast – I wanted to know more after the last scene. Still a great book and I’m looking forward to book 2 and also having these two characters show up in future books! Thanks to Net Galley for the chance to review.
All I Know is a steamy, entertaining start to the Paradise Beach series. A second chance at love, Damien & Kate are well suited, and this short story was well delivered. I would recommend you pick it up as I will be looking to read more.
All I Know is the first in the Paradise Beach Series, and this was my first time reading Tamara Lush. Oh boy, I will be reading the rest of this series and anything else she writes. I was engaged in this from page 1 on. I honestly was very sad it ended, I wanted to know so much more about Kate and Damien! I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. Kate and Damien had crushes on each other in High School, but a kiss between the two started some nasty rumors about Kate. Damien got in a fight defending her, and she kept her distance from him. They have not seen each other in 10 years. Kate is back in Paradise Beach helping out her mom and running her mom’s Tiki Bar while her mom is recovering from surgery and treatments. Damien is a former Marine and is back in town for 3 months until he leaves for his next contracting assignment in Syria. Damien comes in the Tiki bar one night, and the chemistry and sparks start right away. They spend as much time with each other as they can because they know they won’t be there for a while. Damien wants to make sure Kate has medical insurance and proposes marriage. Will Kate accept? Is this truly a fake marriage and engagement or do they really love each other? You need to read this to find out. The cast of supporting characters were all wonderful, and I look forward to learning more about all of them in the upcoming books, and hopefully finding out more about Kate and Damien as well. Loved this one!
Great quick funny read! Perfect for a summer evening sitting out on the deck! The characters are great, second chance love is a lot of fun to read!
Damien and Kate have a second chance at love. What starts out as a fake engagement, may just lead to true love. A cute story about taking the leap to get what you want. Can’t wait to read about the other Hastings siblings in this series!!
All I Know
Paradise Beach, Book 1
By: Tamara Lush
Narrated by: Avie Paige, Paul Stefano
Take Paradise Beach to a sunny day at the beach and you will not be disappointed! This is my first Tamara Lush story, and I really enjoyed it. Kate and Damien went to school together. After a rumor went viral, things looked down, but even years later, their unrequited attraction still lingers. Now Damien sees his second chance, and he is not going to let it slip by. This is a great second chance romance. I love that they have a history and it comes full circle years later. I love the secondary characters too, especially the mothers! What a great jolt of humor! It’s sweet, fun and sexy and we all should have a Damien!
The narration of this flows so well with Avie Paige and Paul Stefano. Each have great voices and give the characters that realistic feel. Paige definitely has a vulnerability in her voice for Kate, but is able to have that love shine through. Stefano has a protective vibe, very sensual and gives you all the feels. I think they compliment each other well and made the listen very enjoyable.

This is book 1 in the Paradise Beach series. Kate is back in town to help her mom after surgery and help with the tiki hu her mother owns. She is only suppose to be back till her mom can get back on her feet. Then Damien shows up. She had a huge crush on him in high school. Damien is back for only 3 months till his next assignment. The chemistry between these two start right at the beginning. I loved how sweet and funny the book was. This is a short read. I can’t wait for the next book.
loved this book. super cute, kept me interested and wanting more. def recommend this book
A second chance, military romance, yes please. A short sweet, fun read. This is first in a new series that looks to be a great one. I really liked the banter and cast of characters. I’m ready to read more.
