Review for Merciless:
I was pulled into this book from the beginning.
Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down.
I was drawn to Carter just by Aria’s description of his voice.
He’s a sexy man. But as arrogant and a man I really want to hate and sometimes punch in the face.
Carter is also a bad man in a bad business. He’s also is the domino effect that will pit two other crime families against each other. Counting on the result he will be the last man standing.
Aria is a fragile innocent young woman. She’s the daughter of one of the two crime families Carter is looking to destroy. I really felt for Aria. She’s always frightened and scared of her own shadow.
I can’t blame her wishing everything she’s seen and lived through that would be her natural state of being.
When Carter demands the kidnapping of Aria and for her to be delivered to him,in return for help with the war that’s being waged,I think the plans he had for her changed the minute he got her.
She has a pull on him that no one knows about but him.
Aria is drawn to Carter. I’m not yet sure if it’s because of the things he did to her or because of her loneliness. But she definitely feels a physical attraction to him.
I really liked the pull Aria had on Carter without her even realizing it. I think with the power she holds over him she can bring him to his knees.
I was also in awe,after what Carter put Aria through,what lengths he went to to give her peace for her broken spirit. The ending was jaw dropping!
The writing is brilliant.
Everything flowed perfectly.
It’s fast paced,it’s captivating and pulse pounding.
Can’t wait for the rest of Carter and Aria’s story!

Review for Heartless:
After reading Merciless I was waiting excitedly for Heartless.
And it absolutely did not disappoint!
Heartless delves in a bit more details of Carter’s life and the struggles him and Aria are facing and going through.
I loved Carter from the very start!
Yes he’s ruthless,hard and revengeful man. But there’s also a vulnerability to him.
He’s the product of his upbringing and his environment. Underneath all that hardness and power lies a man who’s broken within.
Carter’s feelings for Aria are so intense,so strong it’s like an entity unto itself.
Aria is so torn between her unwanted feeling for Carter and her loyalty to her family.
She desires him immensely and her passion for him is unbridled.
But once she’s alone and the fire within her is quenched her guilt returns.
Her heart and mind are waging a war within her,that is slowly breaking her to bits.
I love these two characters even more after having read this book.
They both fit together like pieces of a puzzle. But the circumstances and the situation in which brought them together prevents them from truly coming together to form.
If I thought the cliffhanger in the first book was a whooper,well then this one had my gut clinching and my heart pounding beyond control. Please Ms. Winters have mercy on us and bring on the next book soon!

Review for Breathless:

Breathless had my heart pumping and my anxiety level at high!
With that ending in Heartless I couldn’t wait to see what happens with Carter and Aria!
Aria must now face the consequences of her actions of what she’s done.
Her guilt is so palpable it’s eating her whole from the inside out.
Carter is heartbroken over her choices.
He’s more broken than he ever was before.
Omg my heart was in tatters for him.
Every time these two take a step forward,something always seems to happen that leads to a few steps back.
More enemies are knocking at the door.
More bloodshed is unavoidable.
Relationships are going to be tested.
Breathless is fast paced,gripping and brutal to the heart.
And Ms. Winters ended it with shock and awe!

Review for Endless:
An absolutely brilliant conclusion to the heart pounding thrilling journey of Carter and Aria!
Aria’s strength really comes through and shines bright in Endless.
She grow so much from when you first meet her.
Carter is still the beast you want to hate but just can not,because he isn’t just what he shows.
He’s got so much depth to him only a very few select get to see all of him.
Ms. Winters delivers a heart racing,gripping captivating ending to Carter and Aria.
And not only did the author deliver a fantastic storyline and plot.
But she gives her readers two broken people who are born into a violent life who you just can’t help falling in love with. You cheer them on,but you also want to give them a big hug.
I love the Cross brothers and the world Ms. Winters builds around them.
It’s intense and sucks you right in.

All He’ll Ever Be is an all in one book , that features Mericless, Heartless, Breathless, and Endless. This story is so exciting, thrilling, that you won’t want to put it down. It’s told in dual pov, and you can’t help but fall in love with the characters Carter and Aria. As well as the other Cross brothers. It’s beautifully illustrated too. I hope you enjoy these stories, as much as I did.

~Merciless~
Willow Winters has outdone herself with Merciless. Carter is the oldest of the Cross brothers and the one who leads the family business. He has set his eyes on Aria, the daughter of one of his enemies. Carter has set in motion a war that has been brewing for many years between the Romano’s and the Talvery’s. However, neither family knows that he is doing it for selfish reasons, Aria. She has captured his dark soul, his every thought, his every breath. Carter was once innocent, dragged into this life by his lowlife father. One night changed him, the night that he learned of Aria. The night that she saved him without even knowing it.
Aria hates what her father represents, hates the life she has, but that is all she knows. Witnessing her mother’s death, Aria is haunted with that memory. Her saving grace is her sketch book, timeless hours drawing and most importantly the picture of her mother that lingers in the pages of that sketch book. So when that sketch book is stolen, she stops at nothing to reclaim it, even her own safety. Kidnapped and held against her will, Aria’s strong will and defiance only lasts so long. Although she hates Carter with every breath she takes, he slowly breaks her will and Aria starts to crave Carter. Oddly, she feels safe in his presence and seeks it. She knows it is unhealthy, but she also knows that underneath all the coldness lies a tender man. She knows in order to survive she needs Carter to believe that she is weak and needs him. But is at all a facade, or is Aria really starting to have feelings for her capturer?
Carter knows he needs to break Aria’s will to rebuild her. She is his kryptonite, but he can’t let her see his tenderness and weakness for her. She will willingly submit to him, he just has to wait patiently. Everything he does is planned and well thought out.
What a story Aria and Carter have. As much as I want to hate Carter for what he is doing to Aria, I find that I am falling for him. My heart cries for him and what he has been through in life to become the man that he is today. He is craving love and I believe he can find it with Aria. Aria is his savior, whether she knows it or not. When Aria finally gives all of herself to Carter I know it will be the most beautiful LOVE between two people.

~Heartless~
In Heartless, Carter’s true self is finally revealed and WOW was I blown away. Carter is feared, Carter is ruthless, Carter is respected, Carter is loved, all the while Carter pretends to be heartless. However, he is everything but heartless. Carter has become the man he has become because of his past and the life that was chosen for him. He is chasing an obsession of a girl that saved him the day he wanted his life to end. He thought he loved her, but it was HATE that drove him to take her, to make her need him and fall for him. Now he is finding that he no longer has the control and it is Aria that holds all the cards. How did this happen? How did an obsession turn into Carter needing her?
Aria is in a very hard place. She is starting to care for Carter even though he is keeping her a prisoner and ready to kill everyone she has ever loved. She needs him, his touch, his gentleness, his roughness, HIM. When did this all happen? When did Aria start to fall in love with the man she fears the most but also finds herself wanting to save the most? With every turn Carter throws Aria a curveball. Once she thinks he sees her as nothing but his plaything, his confessions fill her with hope and want. Dreams that maybe he too feels more than the image of the heartless man he makes himself out to be. The more she gets to know him and the little talks she has with his brothers and Addison make her question his true intentions for her. Maybe just maybe he does love her.
Willow Winters is masterful with her words, making every scene jump out and consume you. Every character is well thought out with so much depth. Their interactions among each other verbally and nonverbally helps pave the story and the effect they have on each other. Aria and Carter’s relationship is thrilling, unpredictable, toxic, lonely, consuming, but it also has the pureness of two broken individuals who in their own way want to save the other. I have come to really, really love Carter and how much he LOVES Aria. So when I read the very last words to the end of this book I was left HEARTBROKEN because for the first time throughout this book I saw Carter as HEARTLESS.

~Breathless~
Breathless will leave you breathless. Carter and Aria are at a cross roads. Just as things started to get good with them Aria’s past relationships threaten to tear her and Carter apart. Loyalties are being tested and forgiveness and trust is questionable when both Carter and Aria are set in what they want the end result to be. Determined, Aria will do anything to save the lives of her loved ones, even defy Carter and lose the one man she has ever loved. Torn, Aria does the unthinkable and Carter is left with a hole in his heart. Fearing for her life, Aria does anything she can to escape Carter’s rage, even ending up in the one place she fears the most. Poor Addison gets caught up in the after-mass and soon she and Daniel’s relationship is on the rocks. Needing much time apart, Addison and Aria leave one safe house for another.
In her new surroundings, Aria questions her actions and finds herself craving and missing the safety and security she felt in the presence of Carter. However she uses her time apart from Carter to try and stop the war that’s brewing between the three rivals. As much as she hates her father, she doesn’t want to see him or others she cares for and loves die. Carter allows Aria to choose what she wants to do, using it as an opportunity to see what she will do. Will she chose her family or Carter? How far would she go to defy him? Although Carter has eyes on Aria at all times, there is threat that wants to end Aria to get to Carter. Not knowing who and when they’ll attack, Carter is left vulnerable because he has shown how much Aria means to him. As much as he fights it, Aria is still his world, his everything, HIS. Will this new threat get Aria and in the end destroy Carter?
I couldn’t put this book down, Willow Winters just keeps delivering a bigger and better storyline. Although Carter and Aria’s relationship is far from traditional, what they have and share is unique and special for them. Aria is growing into a stronger woman even though there are so many times she is falling apart and reaching her breaking point. These moments only make her stringer in the end. I also want to bop Carter over the head because there were so many times I just wanted him to tell Aria that he loves her. That is all she wants to hear from his lips, but it might be too late. I can’t wait for Endless so we can see if Carter and Aria ill end up as lovers or enemies.

~Endless~
Talk about going out with a BANG! Willow Winters outdid herself in the final installment of the Merciless Series, Endless. The title says it all. Aria and Carter’s relationship is anything but traditional, but the love they have for one another is epic and endless. Their love is tested everyday by the choices they make. Although Aria had chosen to protect her family, in turn turning her back on Carter, she comes to the realization that Carter is the one she wants, the one she loves, the one she will sacrifice for in the end. Aria is Carter’s world, the air he breaths and the one he knows he can not live without, but his stubborn ways may just push Aria away for good. All she wants is to know that he loves her, he needs to say the words. When Aria is shaken by a surprise, she knows that the life her family and Carter live is not the life she wants anymore. Walking away is the hardest choice she has to make, but the best choice for her future. Will Carter go running after her? Who will Aria turn to when she is left all alone?
Endless left me breathless with its twists and turns, lies and truths and heart wrenching moments. Aria and Carter grew and changed throughout the series but I LOVED who they became at the end of this book. STRENGTH, OBEDIENCE, DEVOTION, SACRIFICE and an EPIC LOVE!

This is the complete collection of the Merciless series, which means no cliffhangers and no waiting for the next book. Yay!! This is Carter and Aria’s story, and it’s filled with a ton of suspense, loyalty, betrayal, twists and turns you won’t see coming and some hot and steamy romance! It’s a definite page-turner, so be prepared because you won’t want to put it down.

Buy this set!!! It is amazing, carter and aria’s story is the best modern retelling of beauty and the beast I have read! It’s expertly written and had loads of chemistry and angst. I honestly could not get enough of carter cross

Carter and Aria I couldn’t read their story fast enough and it ended way too soon. The sizzle the steam the sex the love and the hate Aria is the daughter of a rival mob boss who is kidnapped to be given to Carter who is the head of his “family”. Aria fights Carter with all her strength and will until she can’t fight herself anymore and finds herself falling for him just as deeply as he is falling for her. It’s not about fighting and punishment anymore My heart and emotions were thrown in a blender and set on high speed. I may never recover! Carter continues to try and capture Aria’s heart. He’s captured her physically why can’t he capture her emotionally? He doesn’t realize she is already in love with him. She doesn’t want to be, she knows she should hate him but she just can’t help her growing love for him. Aria continues to plead for the lives of those she loves to be spared in the coming war, including that of Carter. Then Addison and Daniel’s story enters the mix. Carter does not take what he views as Aria’s traitorous actions when she holds a gun on him well. When Addison finds out how Carter has treated Aria and that Daniel knew and did nothing to stop it she’s furious. The story evolves from there with the two women becoming even closer than they were before while the men struggle to win back the affections and loyalties of the women they love. Secrets are revealed to the Cross family; secrets that crush one of the brothers when he finds out the truth of the reason their baby brother, Tyler, died. Every book of Willow’s I read I think she just can’t top this and yet she does each and every time! Every book is even better than the last. I read all their stories in complimentary copies and am freely reviewing this compilation.

What more could you want all 4 books in one!! The author has outdone herself with this one! This is great you can read Carter and Aria from beginning too end! I’ve absolutely loved this series Carter Cross is an amazing man that one can’t get enough of and it’s amazing to be able to read the complete collection all at once! Must read!!

The Merciless series is a very dark and twisted version of Beauty and the Beast. And will always be the defining series in the world Willow has created surrounding the Cross brothers and associates.

It is hauntingly beautiful in it’s darkness and Aria and Carter’s story will always stay with me.

Carter is a beast who will stop at nothing to have Aria to himself and submitting to him. While Aria is like a bird, wanting to fly free, but always having her wings clipped. Stuck in a pretty little gilded cage.

A story that you won’t just read, you’ll feel it deep in your should and experience a terrifying rollercoaster of emotions and when the ride is over…
