Be careful what you wish for… Heartthrob Ty Walker always gets what he wants. So when he announces on a press tour that he’s ready to give up his playboy ways and start a family, he’s confident the universe will provide him with the fairy tale future he’s envisioned – and completely unprepared to come home a week before Christmas to find an eleven-year-old girl sitting on his doorstep with a … doorstep with a note claiming she’s his daughter.
Ty has never been on close terms with responsibility, but even his oh-so-capable assistant can’t wave her magic wand and fix this one for him – not when she’s about to fly home for the holidays for a family wedding.
Taking her movie star boss and his potential daughter home for Christmas isn’t on any of Andi Cooper’s carefully crafted agendas. She knows Ty is nothing more than an overgrown child who uses his heart-melting smile to get away with murder and she’s immune to that smile…until she sees it on the face of a vulnerable little girl.
Clement, Minnesota, here they come.
But when they arrive in her small town, Andi begins to see a different side of her boss. Could there be more to the playboy than she thought? Could he actually become a good father? And could a movie star really be interested in his glamour-less assistant?
Could they actually become the family he was wishing for all along?

Sweet Holiday Story. Wonderfully written, this story will pull you into the scene, the conversation, the drama, the joy. Don’t miss this one!
This is a delightful story of two people finding the joy of Christmas through a totally unexpected event. The characters are delightful and the winter wonderland setting is pure magic. Sometimes we all need a little Christmas magic.
I never really thought I had a thing for Christmas romances. They’ve interested me in the past and they always hold the promise of being amazing, but they never quite live up to the promise. All He Wants For Christmas not only held up but it surpassed everything I thought I was going to get!
Andi has been Ty’s assistant for a few years now. He’s branded himself well and is one of the “sexiest men alive” stars in Hollywood. Andi usually endures his over the top charm with an eye roll, but when an eleven year old shows up on his doorstep with claims she’s his child, she begins to see a different side of to the egomaniac. And she absolutely cannot fall for him. Her past dictates that’s not an option.
Everything comes easily to Ty. Without even having to ask, his life is organized and set out for him via his assistant, Andi. When his unknown daughter arrives he’s suddenly stumbling through insecurities. It soon becomes obvious there isn’t a quick fix to the issue. Andi is his only salvation at this point and he manipulates his way into her Christmas visit home. But soon he’s trying to worm himself into her heart and it’s the biggest challenge of his life.
”Because while he’d always been confident he could have any woman he wanted, Andi was the exception. She’d always been the exception. The one person who saw through all his acts.”
This was a sweet, heart-warming read that had me tearing up several times towards the end. The characters are all well-developed but I especially enjoyed watching Ty come into his true self. He’d been hiding behind his professional persona for so long, he wasn’t sure who he was anymore. Andi also has some evolving to do as she must let go of past hurts and insecurities.
This is a relatively fast read with very little steam – closed door – and internal angst rather than drama caused by outside forces. I felt Ty’s daughter Jade often was a placeholder rather than the integral part of the story she could have been, but this book is dealing with a lot of stuff and I’m sure the length wouldn’t allow for more from her character. However, what was there was heart wrenching at times and absolutely heart melting good at others.
As cheesy as “Christmas Miracles” can be, this one was spot on perfect! It hit a sensitive place in my heart and I connected with every part of the miracle…thus the teary eyes. I loved it and the warm epilogue pushed this book into an even better read.
A daytime soap star is ready to settle down. His PA isn’t buying it. Suddenly he becomes a father and needs to figure out how to be a grownup parent to this child. His personal assistant needs to have some family time away from Hollywood, but one doorbell ringing changes their lives forever.
A very good read! Be careful what you wish for! Great reading.
Good story. Unknown daughter arrives and through that surprise boss and assistant find love.
more than a typical Christmas sad saga, lots of characters involved so many sub plots. fast read but entertaining and fun.
A fun, quick read for the holidays. I enjoyed curling up with a glass of wine, a cozy blanket, and the fireplace ablaze while I read.
The characters were lovable and the plot had a few twists that were nice. I recommend this uplifting story any time of year.
Ty is a star and Andi his assistant. When he finds a girl on his doorstep claiming to be his daughter he escapes to Andi’s hometown while they figure out the truth about the girl. Can a change of scenery show another side of Ty??
Cute and quick read. Andrea, aka Andi, worked as the media director for Ty Walker, now a superstar actor, when he was just starting out. He “invented” his persona, so the studio fired Andi, but, Ty hired her to be his personal assistant immediately after her firing.
Andi has baggage – she was dumped by her “perfect” husband when he learned that she was infertile. Andi and her ex-husband grew up in the same small Montana town and he was the town’s “golden boy,” so everyone assumed the marriage’s failure was Andi’s fault. She never told anyone, not even her large, close-knit family, the truth. Instead, she moved to L.A. to start her life over.
Now, several years later, she’s anxiously looking forward to going home for Christmas for her brother’s wedding. But, just as her last day’s activities are coming to an end, she and Ty arrive at his home for an EW interview only to find an 11-year-old girl sitting on his doorstep. The girl, Jade, claims to be Ty’s daughter. Ty begs Andi to help him with Jade and finagles his way into going home with Andi – and taking Jade – for Christmas.
This is a cute story about people finding themselves and accepting that life is never perfect
Once I began reading this book I could not put it down. I had to see how it turned out and I was not disappointed. A romance to remember.
Great book !
Great story
Nice story line. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
had lots of fun reading this and enjoyed the surprise that comes. Plus was really angry at one of the characters. Wished that the main character Ty would have done some bodily harm. He deserves it. Other then that it was a wonderful Christmas book.
I couldn’t put this book down!!! I loved the storyline and the happy ending.
