The best of the series in my opinion! The author redeemed herself with this book, with great characters, a wonderful story, and memorable interactions.
You couldn’t help but root for Mitch and Charlotte. They each had issues from their past to overcome, and took the time to become friends before lovers. It was great to see the small town mentality of ” all for one and one for all ” come through in the end to save the women, Elliot, and Grant along with the dogs from the attack.
I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher for my honest opinions.
ALL FIRED UP is the third instalment in Lori Foster’s contemporary, adult ROAD TO LOVE erotic, romance series. This is twenty-nine year old Mitch Crews, and twenty-five year old Charlotte Parrish’s story line. ALL FIRED UP can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.
Told from several third person perspectives including Charlotte and Mitch ALL FIRED UP follows the building romance between is twenty-nine year old Mitch Crews, and twenty-five year old Charlotte Parrish. Mitch Crews is an ex-con whose been searching for the half-brothers Brodie and Jack, but a woman in trouble gave Mitch the opportunity to save a lady in distress bringing him face to face with the brothers he has never met. Enter Charlotte Parrish, Brodie and Jack’s foster sibling, and the woman with whom Mitch will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance between Mitch and Charlotte, and the potential fall-out when Mitch’s past comes seeking revenge.
Mitch Crews grew up in poverty with an drug addicted mother, whose boyfriend all but destroyed Mitch’s life that landed our hero in prison in an effort to protect the woman who should have protected Mitch Crews. Release from prison gave Mitch the opportunity to find the family he never knew including the woman that called to his heart. Charlotte Parrish was a member of the Crews family, not by blood, but by heart and soul. Working as Jack and Brodie’s office manager, Charlotte finds herself loved and protected by everyone including the brother they never knew.
The relationship between Charlotte and Mitch is one of immediate attraction but Mitch’s past is determined to destroy the people he loves. The death of his mother, and subsequent demolition of their house places Mitch in the crosshairs of a man who believes Mitch owes him his life. Determined to protect Charlotte, Mitch reluctantly allows his brothers to help with what has to be done. Charlotte knows Mitch is the man with whom she wants to spend the rest of her life but first the must take down and stop Mitch’s past from destroying them all. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
We are reintroduced to Mitch’s half-brothers: Brodie and his wife Mary (Driven to Distraction), Jack and his wife Ronnie (Slow Ride); their mother Rosalyn, their father Elliott, and police officer Grant Colvin. The requisite evil has many faces.
ALL FIRED UP is a story of family, friendship, betrayal and revenge; a story of second chances for our story line hero, and a happily ever after for Charlotte and Mitch. The premise is engaging, suspenseful and entertaining; the characters are strong, energetic and protective; the romance is seductive and captivating. ALL FIRED UP is a wonderful and exciting addition to Foster’s ROAD TO LOVE series.
Another must read from Lori Foster! You immediately fall in love with Mitch & Charlotte. You not only feel their pain and sadness as they struggle for answers but also their joy, hope and longing for family. I love this family’s dynamics where you find yourself laughing out loud at moments, or on edge waiting for justice or just having an ahhh moment. I highly recommend reading All Fired Up as it covers it all!
I really like this series and am so glad that Charlotte got her HEA. Mitch came to town to connect with his brothers and instead found Charlotte. There was an instant connection, but there is so much about his life that she doesn’t know and he isn’t sure how his family will react. He is trying to live a good life and comes to realize he wants Charlotte there with him. His family is very accepting, but when his past comes to call, he isn’t sure he wants to endanger them. Will they let him go?
Wow, I love Lori’s books, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Just enough to keep you somewhat on the edge of your seat, and not able to put the book down! 5 stars for this one!
Meet Mitch, he’s in town looking for his half brothers, when he stumbles across a lady in need, Charlotte, or so he thinks. And what luck he has because she works for his half brothers, and they arrive on scene to help her out, all of them unaware Mitch is their fathers son from another woman.
Read along and see how these two connect, and how Mitch deals with his new found family!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
All Fired Up, by Lori Foster, will be available at booksellers on 11-19-19. Book 3 in the Road To Love series we’ve come to the last Crews brother. I’ve come in here, at #3, and now I absolutely must read books 1 and 2. Ms Foster gets a rare, for me, 5 stars. I’ve had my nose in this book, to the disregard of almost everything else, for 2 days. I became invested in the characters and intrigued by the story. Ms Foster has woven several emotional and physical situations together to form a terrific story. Loved the journey it took me on.
Mitch is the illegitimate son of Elliott Crews. His childhood was a nightmare he’s determined to move past. He’s a complicated man. His experiences have left him always expecting trouble, for the other shoe to drop, to count on only himself. Looking up his half brothers is a kind of mission in this quest for a new life. He’s so determined to become a better man I think he doesn’t realize he’s there. He’s taught himself not to want, that it’s a waste of time & energy. I liked his progression as this crazy, wonderful family takes him into their midst.
Charlotte Parrish is a unicorn, a grown woman virgin. I found it hard to believe she was never interested enough in a guy to go there. She’s a dream girl for Mitch, pretty, nice, forgiving, innocent. I felt her character was there to show Mitch how life could be, what he’d wanted but never expected. Her character isn’t as deep as Mitch but she’s not supposed to be.
I liked the Crews family, I liked all the action & suspense. The romance was lovely to see unfolding. Happy reading.

Lori Foster is a wonderful writer. She creates real characters. The kind of people you might come across in real life. I’ve enjoyed the Road to Love series with the colorful women and hot-as-sin men. Mitch and Charlotte were interesting to get to know. For some reason, I didn’t love them as much as the others but this is still a very good read. There’s a lot of flirting and little actual togetherness for a long time. Charlotte’s “brothers” Jack and Brody make sure of that.
I loved how the brothers welcome Mitch into the family. They don’t hold their father’s sins against him and they don’t resent him. They don’t even hold his time in prison against him. Ros is the most amazing. Not many women would be so welcoming to their husband’s illegitimate son.but Ros came to terms with Elliot’s flaws long ago and she’s smart enough and loving enough to not hold any of this situation against Mitch.
Mitch recognizes the darkness left by his upbringing and prison but doesn’t let it stop him from creating a life for himself. As pleased as he is that his brothers are so welcoming, he’s very slow to open up to them. He just doesn’t have that skill set. Charlotte is the perfect match for this reticent man.
As with the other books, there’s plenty of intense conflict in All Fired Up thanks to Mitch’s “step-father” who is violent, nasty and angry.
Foster always delivers a good read and All Fired Up is definitely a book you’ll want to read.
I LOVED this book…it is the 3rd in the series & my favorite! Lori Foster is a master at writing books that are romantic but include humor, suspense, action and sexiness. I ADORE the fact that she includes animals in this series AND how much the characters TRULY love them! This book is a tribute to true FAMILY…. I love how the family engulfed Mitch as if he had always been with them…..and the fact that family is what you make of it & should be cherished.
Unpredictable gives irresistible a run for it’s money. All Fired Up puts the mystery back in romance. Charlotte and Mitch give dangerous a bad name. Foster sets bookshelves ablaze with a whole lot of drama, wrapped inside a handful of suspense, that puts the senses on high alert. Be still my beating heart. This one’s a scorcher.
The author has done it again !
story shows the emotion that can be brought out with the incredible word and story she has written . Danger love family and attraction this story has it all . This is a town and family you would love to be a part of .
Mitch is looking for his half brothers and in meeting them he comes in contact with Charlotte and a family who are so totally accepting of him and love having him in their life
My first read in this series. Enjoyed the story. The Mitch and Charlotte meet on dark road with a rescue and the drama escalates from there. The bad guys are truly despicable, so there is romance, drama, adventure, family mishaps and the requisite HEA. Add this to your TBR list. Worth the time spent.
This is the third book in the Road to Love series. In this one we have Charlotte who is like family and Mitch who we find out is actually a half brother. It’s fun to see how the romance progresses against the backdrop of Mitch getting yo know his brothers. There is suspense in the story and the love story is well written. It was fun to see all of the characters interaction and how family no matter how it is formed comes together for each other. This was a great book to wrap up a fun series.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
4 1/2 stars.
This is definitely my favorite book from this series! From the story to the characters. I love Mitch & Charlotte and am so glad Charlotte got her own HEA and that Mitch is finally getting it all. I love the journey his character has obviously been through that led him to where he is now. Charlotte never thought she could love a man like Mitch but theirs was an undeniable love. Love the romantic suspense aspect to this heartwarming love story. I really enjoyed it!
When Mitch decided to find his half brothers, he got a surprise when rescuing Charlotte. This book is emotionally heart wrenching….in the best of ways. It’s all about family, the ones you choose and the ones you don’t. I loved that Charlotte found love in Mitch and Mitch in her. Both deserved to get their happily ever after and Lori delivers. 5 big bold beautiful stars for this one.
All Fired Up (Road to Love book 3 ebook) by Lori Foster ….I want to give this way more than 5 stars… Thanks to Lori, the publisher and #NetGalley for letting me preview this book. Lori always pulls me right into her story and this time is no different… Mitch Crews ( Brodie and Jack are his half brothers..he is a ex-con with a past) Charlotte ( like a sister to Brodie and Jack..) It is so much fun to read more about Brodie and Mary, Jack and Ronnie, Rosalyn(Ros ..mom) Elliot (mostly absent father) and the pets.. and add in Brute. There are lots of laughs, tears, angst, anger, fear, some evil and some good steamy stuff all leading to a wonderful HEA. I can’t wait to see what Lori writes next.
This was the perfect ending to this series.
So many things going on. Shock at finding out about Mitch. Acceptance, it’s just what the Crews family does and not at all what Mitch was expecting. Drama, you can’t get to a HEA without it right?
But the three biggest things are love, loyalty and family. These are the things the Crews family know all about and the things Mitch didn’t know he wanted or needed.
Ms. Foster is an amazing storyteller and I look forward to so much more from her.
All he wanted was a family. Growing up things had been pretty bad so it was time for a change. Meeting his extended family was something he needed to do and was totally unprepared for what happened. This is a great story about love, acceptance and family. It’s a great story just kinda drawn out and well that’s just for my style. I did enjoy the characters, the brothers were a crack up and totally loyal once they were on board. I loved Charlotte and Ros, both independent and strong in their own rights. Elliott in his own special way, well he was Elliott and love can’t always be denied. I haven’t read this author and while this is a series each book is a standalone. I really enjoyed the read but some parts are a little drawn out for me which just left me wanting it to be over.
The ending has me so happy that I’m smiling so hard and some tears squeezed out.
Im not sure what to say without spoiling it, but I will do my best. Lori Foster has never and will never dissapoint me. I am always ready for more. I am always on the edge of my seat. I am always looking for a fan to cool me down. And my cheeks always hurt from smiling and laughing so much.
Mitch was the perfect addition to the Crews family. Now I need to know if there will be another book or if I get to meet a new family now.
I highly recommend this book.
Happy reading!
Rating 5 stars
Note: I have voluntarily read and reviewed and ARC of this title.
A heartwarming story about an ex-con finding family, love, and peace with himself, All Fired Up is one of Lori Foster’s more tender books. With her signature complex characters blended with suspense, this book has a little of everything. I loved Mitch, our broken hero who is man enough to admit that he wants more for himself. He’s a man who has had very little good in his life, and doesn’t know how to trust that it will last once he finds it.
While this can definitely be read as a standalone, fans of the series will love how this book pulls the series together. The story follows Mitch as he seeks out his half brothers – Brodie and Jack. Recently released from prison, Mitch is alone in life and would love the connection of family, though he doesn’t hold out much hope that his brothers will want anything to do with them. He meets Charlotte first, and there’s an instant connection between the two of them… that throws a wrench in Mitch’s plans once he discovers that she’s his brothers’ employee. It’s bad enough that she’s all kinds of too good for him, but the fact that she’s so important to his brothers means that pursuing more will be complicated. Mitch gets more than he bargained for once he comes clean to his brothers, gaining an instant family and learning that he might just be worthy of that. But trouble from his past resurfaces, putting everything at risk.
This is definitely sweeter than other books I’ve read by Foster, and I have mixed feelings about that. On the one hand, I loved seeing Mitch grow and having our hero be the one in need of healing. On the other hand, it’s almost too much of a slow burn for me – the romance takes a backseat to the family storyline, and ultimately felt a bit rushed. That’s really the only drawback to the book for me though, and I’m sure anyone who has read the other books in the series will find this to be a completely fulfilling read. The writing itself is great, the characters are likeable, and the depth of emotion makes an impact. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC. I am voluntarily leaving a review of this sweet and tender read.
Very entertaining read, this is the third book in this series. I found that this but has a little slower pace than the others, the story beginning focuses on the relationships between the main characters of all three books, which is necessary for the story to unfold. I enjoyed the banter between all the characters and the underlying suspense with Mitch’s past. Great story of what makes a family, blood or not, what bonds hold. Mitch and Charlotte feel a pull from the first and are cute as they find their way to each other. Laughs, attraction, suspense and cute dogs, all make up a good read.
