4 . Good series. Will probably read it again.
03/24/2020 Completed the series for the second time so needs 5 stars now.
When Mitch Crews spots a woman with obvious car trouble being hassled by a drunk man outside a bar one night, his protective nature kicks in and he steps up to help. Charlotte Parrish is grateful to the handsome stranger but has little time to chat alone with him before one of her “brothers” shows up to help. Charlotte’s parents died when she was young, Roslyn took her in, and Ros’ sons Jack and Brodie have considered her their “little sister” ever since.
Mitch, new to town, is stunned when confronted with one of two men he’s come to town to meet. You see, Mitch is their half-brother. Someone they know nothing about, the product of one of the many affairs their father had on their mother. To Mitch’s surprise, the entire family accepts him immediately, even with his prison record.
When someone from his past comes to town looking for Mitch, he knows that he has to distance himself from his new family to protect them. The only problem, not a single member, including Charlotte are willing to back off. They’re a family and they’re going to stick together.
I really enjoyed this story, a great mix of romance and suspense to keep you intrigued and reading until the very end. This is the third book in the Road to Love series, but can be read as a standalone without issue (this was my first in the series, and I wasn’t lost at all). With an interesting mix of personalities (I’m personally fond of Ronnie and Brute) and a great plot, this was an easy read. I’m going to have to check out the first two books in the series to see what I missed.
**I received an ARC of this story and this is my honest review.
Thoroughly ADDICTING!!
Lori Foster tells and truly enthralling tale. I was completely hooked right from the very beginning.
This story has so much heart. You absolutely fall for the characters and love there family bonds. A story of love and acceptance. Throw in some romance and suspense and you have one heck of a captivating story.
This is book 3 in the series. I started with book 3 and did NOT feel lost. I just feel like I need to read book 1 and book 2 immediately. I am absolutely loving Lori Foster’s writing. I can’t wait to read more.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of All Fired Up. This is book 3 in this series, and it may just be my favorite (mostly because of the dog). All Fired Up is a book about fresh starts and new beginnings and family. Charlotte, and the whole Crews gang are here, and you get to experience life through Charlotte’s eyes. Mitch and Brute need a fresh start, family, and a HEA and they get them. If you’re a Lori Foster fan (and even if you’re not) pick up All Fired Up, you won’t be disappointed.
Charlotte and Mitch’s love story in All Fired Up, book three in the Road to Love series by Lori Foster, was an amazing, wonderful, sweet, and enjoyable tale. Reading this book reminded me why I loved reading books by Lori Foster; as if I am actually watching the story as her words become a movie in my head. Charlotte knew what she wanted in a man and when she accidently met Mitch she knew he was the one. This was before she even had the chance to get to know him. Finding his half brothers was more than Mitch ever thought. Finding love was never something he expected, at least until he meets Charlotte. Charlotte is not only sweet, warmhearted, and sexy, but she sees the real Mitch, not the ex-con. Mitch thought he left his past behind when he moved, but unfortunately, it finds and haunts him; putting his new family and Charlotte in danger. Mitch will risk his life to keep everyone safe. I loved how tender Mitch was as well as a hard worker, deserving of a chance to be loved and to love. Charlotte was the perfect match for him.
Ms. Foster is an amazing storyteller who wrote a wonderful story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Charlotte and Mitch a chance at love, happiness, and a future neither expected. I highly recommend All Fired Up to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Mitch and Charlotte’s story had you hooked from the beginning and once you start, its almost impossible to put down. I love the suspense, family drama, friendships and acceptance this story has. Hot chemistry and suspense in one wonderful book. I think this may be one added to my favorites.
I totally love Lori Foster’s books. I have read every book she has had published and always eager for more. I just finished book 3 in her newest series Road to Love. I have to say that I loved Mitch and Charlotte in this one. I loved how Mitch was introduced into this story. He definitely won me over from page one. Charlotte has been present thru the whole series and I have wanted her to get a story of her own. The great thing about LF’s series is that she has previous characters have a secondary role in the next books. I definitely love the Crews family in this series. They are what family is all about,, being there for each other no matter what.
I received an ARC from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.
Charlotte Parish has always wanted a certain type of man. And then her car breaks down and leaves her stranded, and rescued by a complete stranger. Or to be so attracted to that stranger. She never thought she would want someone like him-but she is finding that he is everything that she needs. Mitch is in town to meet to find the family that he has never known. He has never been looking for love or even thought about it. Charlotte is everything that he never knew he really wanted or needed. But now his past could be coming back to bite him and throw everything he truly wants into jeopardy.
This one is definitely a slow burn but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Mitch and Charlotte have this connection right from the start and they both draw each in ways that you don’t really expect. The story drew me in right from the start and I loved that it didn’t seem like anything was forced or rushed. The whole book seems to be at the perfect pace. Mitch and Charlotte both have been through things that might bring others down, but they are so strong that they are able to move on and try to make a better life for themselves. And I completely loved that! You don’t have to read the first 2 books in order to read this one, everything is perfectly understood even if you haven’t read them yet. All in all-a very enjoyable read!!
Satisfying romance…
I know when I read anything by this author, the story will be well written with all the elements of a classic romance. If that sounds negative at all then I’m saying it wrong because what that means is well-developed characters, intriguing circumstances and heat and drama to spare…
Charlotte and Mitch’s story had all those things as they met by accident but soon found themselves falling in love while family drama raged around them. They were easy to like as they laughed and argued while on a roller coaster ride of revelations and this thing called life. Being surrounded by family meant lots of laughter, tears and danger thrown in for good measure.
This is a standalone but I wished I’d read the previous stories just to understand more how this family came to be. I will definitely be going to back to find out!
*Reviewed for Nerdy Dirty & Flirty
This is my first read by Lori Foster, and I’ve gotta admit that about halfway through, I was still waiting for some romance, something other than sultry eyes and lingering looks. Seriously, we’re talking somewhere around 200 pages into an almost 400-page read, and I’m still waiting for the romance to get going. However, that little annoyance was just that, a little annoyance. Because somewhere in there, while I waiting, I realized that I really liked these characters, and I wanted to know more about them. The whole Crews family is relatable and absolutely lovable. Even Elliott, who is most certainly a jerk when it comes to relationships and responsibility. Yet, somehow I still found myself rooting for him. We do finally get some romance, and yes, I felt like there could’ve been a better buildup, but I liked both characters enough by that point that I wanted them to be happy. The author also gives us a bit of danger, and our baddies are a bit over the top in their badness, but they did add some tension. In the end, this one was more of a family drama than romance, but I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this family.
An ex-con and a overprotected woman…..what could possibly go wrong.
Mitch is a good guy who took a fall.
Charlotte is a fabulous gal who has two big brother figures who chased off all the wanna be fellas.
One look was all it took but the road to happiness has a few twists and turns!

Heartwarming, sexy, exciting and action packed journey filled with intriguing charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and thrilling passion…… was a edge of your seat read! I really enjoyed this interesting journey of self discovery and reflection. Excellent reading.
Oh yessss, this book is my kind of book, I love everything, from tragic past to wonderful future, from moody grumpy hero to family man, from sweet to suspense, and don’t let me start with all the characters, I love them all, from their quirkiness to their love and kindness. Yup this book put a big smile on my face and warms my heart, I laughed a lot too and the suspense got me on edge that keeps me turning page after page.
If you love your romance read with a dash of suspense, I think you’ll love this one too.
I loved this addition to the Road to Love Series. I was thrilled that Charlotte got her own book and that we got to learn more about her, as I’ve loved her as a character in the past two books in the series. Mitch was a wonderful character and I loved his story line and how he fit into the Crews Family. This book had everything that I have come to expect to from a Lori Foster book, an interesting plot, great characters, and a wonderful romance story. This is my honest review of an ARC I received from Netgalley
Be still my heart! The third time is indeed the charm when it comes to the hunky heroes Lori Foster has delighted us with in her Road to Love series. I’ve adored them all, but in her latest ALL FIRED UP, we meet Mitch, the half-brother that they didn’t know they had, and he is delightful!
Raised by the queen of dysfunctional mother’s, Mitch has lived a harder life than most and finds himself looking for a place to belong. He’s an ex-con with a heart of gold and looking up the brothers he always knew he had out there somewhere seems like the right thing to do. He never expected to find a woman he can’t resist, or for danger to follow him to town!
As we know from loving Charlotte in the previous two books in the series, she’s sweet, she’s tough and she gives as good as she takes with those feisty guys she thinks of as brothers. She’s never thought a bad boy was her type … but man she’s can’t resist Mitch from the very moment she meets him. How will that play out when he’s stepping into the family she’s already a part of?
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great story of redemption. The characters draw you in from the very start and if you’ve read the rest of the series, you will love seeing so much of Brodie, Jack and the fam again. Really enjoyed Mitch and Charlotte!
A great read from Lori Foster with her latest book, All Fired Up. From the first unexpected meeting to the family dynamics to the super cute pets, Mitch and Charlotte’s story will keep you hooked from page one. Great story, great characters, great read. Definitely one to add to your must read list!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy.
All Fired Up is book three in the Road for Love series by Ms Foster. In this installment we meet Mitch, a brother no one knew about and see his instant connection with Charlotte, the quasi sister of Brodie and Jack (The older Crews brothers.)
This book is a little bit different than the first two books in the series in that it’s much sweeter. Mitch is just as Alpha as his brothers, but his character has an underlying vulnerability that we haven’t seen in the series before.
The plot, while similar in the intrigue elements, is also a little different. The core of the story is about Mitch discovering and integrating into the Crews family. I really enjoyed the slight differences in All Fired Up. I enjoyed getting to know Mitch and Charlotte as well as getting to see the older Crews boys again.
This is a well written and entertaining addition to the series and reaffirms Ms Fosters place on my must read list.
Charlotte has always been like a little sister to Brodie and Jack so when Mitch comes to town and immediately has eyes for her they there to protect her, but she’s just as attracted to him. When they find out that Mitch is actually related to the Crew brothers, that changes things a bit. She works to help him accept the family he’s come to find and thought he’d never have. When trouble from his past comes looking for him, there’s a chance those he’s beginning to love and accept will be hurt and possible want him out of their lives. He has a lot to learn about his rough and tough family which includes the women too. As they work to get the past behind them, they help him to see that he’s family and they’ll have his back. Mitch also realizes he wants a future with Charlotte and he’ll do what it takes to keep her safe and make that happen. Another great Lori Foster book which includes some humor, great characters and some suspense. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another intriguing and fast paced book. I really enjoyed getting to know the new characters! You get more backstory and an adorable new dog is added to the mix!!
Howler makes more cameos, who doesn’t love Howler?!
Growth and happiness abound, with action and drama, and plot twists! I love the Crews Family!
I was given an ARC via NetGalley for an honest review.
Mitch is my favorite Crews brother & Charlotte was the perfect match for him. I really enjoyed their story, and it was fun catching up with the rest of the Crews family, including all of the pets. Mitch’s sister-in-law Ronnie cracks me up! She and Ros are always entertaining and I love the banter between all of the characters. This is a great series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy from NetGalley.
