Great book
The end was definitely a surprise! Great book!
This is definitely a murder mystery you will not want to miss. The twists and turns are varied and many as husband and wife team Parker and Steele are called to help, as consultants, in the murder of a pop star in Las Vegas.
Just as they think they know who the killer is–something else turns up. Miranda is not about to give up until she locates the killer!!
This book was OK, but I detest profanity. The writing was kind of abrupt at times.
Great story!
Good character development. Very descriptive scenes. The story line really drew me in.
Enjoyed
This was a good read!
Not memorable.
Every time i finish a Linse Lanier book i just can’t wait for the next one. Every sentence is pack with the urge to keep reading. My house work suffers when i start one of her books. I am so happy to give you 5 stars. i love your stories.
Enjoyed it
Unrealistic
The plot of this book is so unbelievable, I couldn’t get far. The heroine, a tough PI, finally gets her 14-year-old daughter back (she was kidnapped as a young baby) and almost immediately the mother PI, who hasn’t even healed from that ordeal, is raring to take a job across the country (hey, the girl’s a teenager, she’s got her own life). The job involves solving a high-profile murder, which is offered to them by a police officer, who gets the case and isn’t even a homicide detective. How in the world could the Las Vegas police force possibly solve something like a murder case on their own? Not to mention her husband, also a PI, who just happens to be fantastically rich and drop-dead gorgeous, finds her so sexy he can’t stand it. That’s as far as I could get. On the plus side, the author’s writing skills show promise and are better than some best-selling authors, so perhaps this one is not the best to judge her by.
I loved it and I’m looking forward to reading the next Miranda/Parker book
fun read
I really liked it. Am sorry that I can’t get the rest of the series but only available on Kindle which I don’t have.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Kept me interested to the very end.
It kept me guessing until the end. Great writing
Good detective story, a little heavy on the feminism but all in all a good read.
A great story from this author!! I was impressed with the plot. I love the characters and where their story is going. I want to know more of course. I will be looking into more books from this series. The author has me hooked. It is a great book with lots of suspense and love in between the mystery!
