Temptation has never come in a hotter package. You know how people say you can never believe what you read on the interwebs? That a hot guy online is probably a creeper with a beer gut and a shoe fetish, not the sexy beast he pretends to be?So I had no clue that the anonymous blogger who contacted my law firm about his naughty website would be droolworthy in real life. Not that I’m interested in … Not that I’m interested in him in that way.
Attorneys can’t go around sleeping with their clients. Not even if he is the most beautiful man I’ve ever met and so ridiculously smart he makes my nerdy-girl heart sigh.
Besides, he has too much on the line to risk taking a chance on the insane chemistry building between us. We both do.
I’ve always followed the rules. Too bad he makes me want to break each and every one of them.

All About the D is a romantic comedy and a full-length standalone. Due to adult situations and sexual content, it’s recommended for readers over the age of 18.

All About the D is an instantly comical and super steamy romance. I adored all of the characters in this one, except for the few we weren’t supposed to adore. Evie and Josh are such a great couple with undeniable chemistry. I especially liked that Evie is a strong female character. She is independent, intelligent, and she’s described as being a curvier woman.
Everything about All About the D is worth 5-stars. From the plot to the audiobook narration. I HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of the Kindle Whispersync deal on this one and snagging the audiobook for $1.99. You won’t regret it.
An original concept and well written story! The characters are real and wonderful. Very raunchy and humorous with a bit of romance on the side.
I loved this book so much! This was a quick, light read with great characters and an awesome storyline. It kept me interested from the very first page and I could barely read fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.
This was a funny, sweet and sexy story. Loved Evie and Josh. Loved the storyline and the characters. Can’t wait to read Drew and Kendall’s story.
I loved this!
As someone who reads about 200 books a year. It’s hard to find something that I probably haven’t read before! This felt very unique and I loved it!
Josh. Part of a historical family. Think modern day Kennedy’s.
He has a funny little, or should we say big, blog about a rather taboo topic. He needs an attorney to represent and protect him, since this is all anonymous.
Enter Evie. Love her. She’s so awesome. An attorney, fun, a quirky DIY gal!
I loved the plot. The writing was superb. I really enjoyed every bit of this.
Highly recommend
Lex Martin
I loved this so, so, SO sexy and hilarious story! Josh and Evie were wonderful characters, each with their own distinct personalities. I fell hard for Josh’s well-deserved cockiness and his fierce loyalty to his family, best friend, and of course Evie. He was unapologetic about his new venture, rightly so! Evie’s intelligence and openness allowed them to come together perfectly. And their chemistry!!! Wow! Off the charts! 5 stars for this smart, sexy and oh so fun book!
Josh is one whipped man, when his woman wants or needs something he does not hesitate, “nothing’s wrong. Actually, it’s good news, I guess,” she says flatly. “It’s just big news. I’d rather tell you in person. Can you meet me at The Coffee Pot?” I don’t need any more coffee, but I’ll meet her anywhere.” It’s quite obvious Josh is not a shy man, and Evie relishes in that fact, “turning back to the two women in the bakery, I find that they’re watching Josh kiss my neck with horrified expressions on their faces. Oh, yeah, b*****s, he’s with me.” I loved this book, this content was quite original, I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with it’s plot the same as this one.
Josh is trying to get over a breakup. He had known Tiffany all his life, and was ready to ask her to marry him….until he caught her cheating. She even tried to blame it on him and his long work hours. So his best friend dares him to show his D to another woman. Josh thinks the best way to do that, since he doesn’t like hook-ups, is by posting a picture of it on a blog. It blew up from there. So now he needs an attorney to represent him in matters concerning this because he is getting all kinds of business offers. Since he doesn’t want his prominent family to know about his scandalous pass time he seeks out legal counsel from another firm.
Evie got her foot in the door at the firm she works at because one of the main partners was friends with her family. She has been working really hard to prove that she belongs there. As she is trying to being in new business, she gets the call from Josh. He doesn’t disclose who he is at first, due to the nature of his business. She takes a chance and meets with him. She decides she is going to pitch the idea to the other partners.
When they turned it down, Josh takes it as a gist because now he can try to pursue a relationship with Evie. Turns out they have a lot in common. But due to her insecurities she has a hard time believing that a man like him would want to be with her. After some convincing she decides to give it a shot with him. After they start this relationship, her firm changes its mind and allow her to represent him. And that is where the trouble begins!
What makes this story so great is that they get together in a very odd way. Turns out that they really have a lot in common. A lot of the issues they encounter are fed off of her insecurities which are very valid and realistic. The things they do together are adorable. Their love of fixing up houses is a great common interest that makes them both seem a little nerdy. I really think they are just too cute for words (but they are also super hot!!!) I would say that Josh and Evie are probably one of my top 5 favorite couples I have ready about this year! I was definitely not disappointed with this book.
All About The D is a sweet and sexy romance that left me swooning. There’s plenty of humor and blushing mixed in with a few heart-melting moments.
Joshua Cartwright is in need of contractual legal advice however he’s facing a dilemma. The advice he needs is for his NSFW blog that features his exceptional asset, aka his junk. Because Joshua is from a respectable Seattle family with an older brother who is running for Senate, he needs to keep identity anonymous.
Evelyn Mills, Esquire, is focused on making partner but is still in need of bringing in a huge client. Joshua Cartwright maybe the solution to her problem if she can sell him to her traditional firm. The only issue that may stand in her way is their mutual attraction to each other. Can they keep their relationship purely platonic or are they willing to risk losing it all.
I love Evelyn! She’s conservative in many ways but slowly begins to open up and find herself with the help of her friend and Josh. Josh on the other hand (or with his hand) has found his niche as a dick blogger. It all started with a bet he took from his very interesting best friend, a friend who indeed needs his own book, that led to finding the woman who brings back his smile. I really enjoyed this light-heart romance with plenty of NSFW style. 5 Stars!
And then there was the D!
This book gets 5.5 stars from me and is now the #1 on my best books of 2017! I am a huge fan of the D and I am a huge fan of a certain blog that involves a certain D that gets dressed up and shows us all things Little Dude related!
This book had me laughing so hard it hurt and had me thinking the authors somehow knew me and my friends. I want to tell you all about the D, spoilers….pictures (the pictures I could use in a review would be awesome) the works but I am going to tell you to just read it and decide for yourself! You can only get the full impact of the book by immersing yourself in it. Stop reading the reviews and open your kindle! Trust me you will thank me later!
All About the D by Lex Martin & Leslie McAdam has got to be the best thing I’ve read all year! I have never read anything from these authors before and I have to say, I will most definitely be one clicking all of their work.
Evelyn Mills is an uneventful woman. According to her ex, she’s not very spontaneous and boring. However, she is so busy as a junior associate at a law firm, trying to make her way to partner, she doesn’t have time for anything else.
Evelyn needs a big client, a HUGE one at that. Well, that client happens to Josh Cartwright, a wealthy architect. The Cartwright family if a well-known family in the Portland area and they are expected to represent the family with prestige and not damage the family name. EVER.
While on the outside, Josh is nothing but respectful of his family and their name, on the inside the man has a HUGE secret. One that could cost his family everything. A bet was made and lost, a blog was created and All About the D is off and running. But Josh needs an attorney to represent him and keep him anonymous.
“I take pictures of my dick and post them online. I’m a modern-day flasher in a raincoat.”
Evelyn decides to meet with Josh to discuss what he needs are, but the sexual tension between the two of them is unreal. Being that Josh could be a potential client, Evelyn knows nothing can happen between them. Yet, she is trying not to remember the fact she already knows what the man looks like naked….
What starts off as a hands-off friendship turns into so much more when the law firm rejects taking on Josh as a client. The relationship is well on its way to developing into something absolutely wonderful when all of the sudden the law firm changes their mind and Evelyn is back to being Josh’s lawyer.
Will Evelyn and Josh be able to keep their hands off of each other? Can they be just friends? Would Evelyn be able to deal with knowing all of these people get to see the most intimate part of someone she’s falling for? Are they willing to risk it all for love?
This book has the perfect amount of drama, definitely some fun, home improvements, dogs and sexiness. I was laughing my ass of most of the book, it was so crazy good, especially the mold scene! Then, I fell in love with the way Josh describes Evelyn and how she owns him completely. I think in some respect, I think that we all hope our loved one feels that way about us, with nothing but complete admiration. I love that Josh is a nerdy type of guy with glasses but is totally hot and that Evelyn was a gorgeous woman that was still a little insecure about herself. They just went together so well and the supporting characters were also wonderful. I’m looking forward to the story of Drew and Kendall!!
All About the D is one of those books I’ll be digging right back into again.
P.S. – As I was reading this book, I kept thinking about this blog on Tumblr that I follow and how it seemed to fit in flawlessly with this book. Little did I know…
Best book of 2017! Lex & Leslie write very well together! This book was everything from funny to sweet to steamy! I couldn’t help but laugh, snicker, swoon & giggle throughout it! Amazing characters, fantastic writing! Great humor! The ending of this book was perfect! I got all giddy when I knew what was gonna happen! If you want a book to help you laugh & get you through rough times, this is the book for you! It helped me through a rough time & it made me smile, swoon & laugh! I can’t wait for Drew & Kendall’s Book(Josh & Evie’s best friends)! I want more Josh & Evie! This book will forever stay close to my heart! Definitely grab this book, I promise you won’t be sorry If you do! I loved every part of it! I was hooked from the beginning all the way to the end! Congrats Lex & Leslie on your first successful co written book! Here’s to much more success to you both! #LexlieForever #ILoveJosh #JoshandEvie #AATD
A fantastically humorous, clever, witty, and charming journey to go on with Josh and Evie. They develop a beautiful friendship that is heartwarming, and their chemistry is off the charts. This story made me giggle like a school girl, at times I laughed out loud, I teared up, I blushed, but overall I was highly entertaining. I enjoyed every single second of this book.
I couldn’t finish it. It was a sweet enough story with well developed characters, but I just wasn’t in the mood for this kind of story at the moment. Plus, I’m pretty sure I figured out what the monkey wrench in the story was going to be, and I didn’t feel like wading through all of it to get to the conclusion. But, please don’t let my review deter you. It really is a lovely book.
Yet, another hilarious read by the amazing Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam. This is my second book by them and it won’t be my last. It was funny as hell, laid back, hot as hell, laugh your ass off read. I am fastly becoming a fan of funny, sexy and steamy romances, I never really thought I would be. But when you put two authors such as these two together you can’t help but fall in love with the book, the characters and the fuzzy and happy feeling you get when you read a rom-com.
This book centers around a rich and well-known guy called Josh, who comes from a high upbringing, he creates a blog and dedicates it to his dick… YEP… his dick, after a bet was made among him and his friends to make the blog, he never thought it was take off and become such a hit, now he’s in need of legal help and rather than go to his families lawyers, he seeks out another firm.
Evie is an upcoming and aspiring lawyer that is in the running to become a partner in her firm. She believes that Josh’s case will help her build herself up to that but when she comes face to face with this man… It took her by complete surprise. She never expected the man to be so hot and so desirable and when starts begin to spark… The level of heat between them heightens and Evie is finding it impossible not to lust over him.
These two together were insanely hot, fun and hilarious. It was an easy read, with a smooth and enjoyable plot that held my attention from start to finish. I love the whole idea of this plot. It was unique and had me crying in laughter. This will not be the last book I read by these two authors!
5-Hilarious-Stars

*** 4.5 Stars ***
All About the D by Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam is a contemporary, forbidden, romantic comedy told in dual POV.
Josh Cartwright is part of a very prominent, high profile family. He also secretly runs a popular pornographic blog that’s all about his “D”. When he reaches out to Evie Mills for legal representation, she wants to help. She also really needs to bring in some business and thinks it could be a great opportunity to finally make her mark at her firm.
When Evie and Josh meet in person for the first time, there’s an instant attraction that they know they can’t act on because she’s going to be his lawyer. When her firm turns down his case, they’re free to do what they want. Sparks fly and they give in to their mutual chemistry. But then Evie’s firm reconsiders and decides to take on Josh’s case and everything gets very complicated.
Will Josh and Evie go back to being only client and lawyer? Will they continue to see each other secretly? Will their relationship be discovered by the firm? Will Josh’s secret online identity be exposed to the public? Will Evie lose her job and get disbarred for a violation of ethics? Read and find out!
I really enjoyed Josh and Evie’s story! I loved them both as characters. They were both very likeable and relatable. This story was so much fun! It had some great angsty moments and some outrageous hilarious ones as well. It was funny, romantic, and scorching hot! I’m looking forward to Drew and Kendall’s story in Surprise Baby.
4.5 Stars
Kendall Greer and Drew Merritt have hated each other ever since their best friends, Josh and Evie, started dating each other. They push each other buttons and they cant be in the same room without throwing insults or wanting to pull their hair out. And now they’ll be spending the holiday weekend in a cabin together. Stuck on a mountain with each other is not their idea of a fun time.
Kendall and Drew find themselves stuck together in this cold snowy cabin. Alone. The attraction that’s laid under the hate for one another, grows, the closer they get over the span of three days. And now their dreary stay becomes three days full of passion, laughs and slowly getting to know one another with out all the stress of their lives, and assumptions of each other.
Drew and Kendall shared something crazy and amazing on that mountain. But a few misunderstandings, have them both questioning if the other felt what happened between them was more than just a crazy weekend. Juggling work and family, Kendall and Drew have another surprise thrown at them, and now they’ll have about nine months to see where the connection that started on that mountain, brings them.
Surprise, Baby! was so much fun to read. Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam are such a great author duo. This book was full of so much love, laughs and passion. Kendall and Drew are fantastic characters, I loved seeing their journey, from All About The D, to now. And all they have to face in Surprise, Baby! I loved how the relationship between Drew and Kendall grew and become this beautiful love. It was so sweet, sexy and full of lots of great banter. I hope this author duo writes more and more books to dive into.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I LOVE Lex and Leslie, so of course I loved this one, but it was so above my expectations. I knew this was loosely based off of the blog “Things My Dick Does,” but I was super curious about how they’d be able to spin it. There were so many different layers to who Josh and Evelyn were, both together and as individuals. I loved getting to see those layers get peeled back and exposed. (That pub was totally intentional LOLOL).
I loved how Josh was this super influential person and I loved that Evelyn truly wanted to help him even though she worked for stuffy old people. It just made for the perfect kind of chemistry. She really needed someone to loosen her up and he really needed someone to be himself with. They were perfect for each other from the get go! Even more than those things, I loved how they were able to work themselves out of a rut. Both of them were in this rut that they almost didn’t even know existed until they met each other. That was one of the beautiful things about these two, there were so many things that they didn’t even realize about themselves until they found each other.
Even with all of the crazies out to get them, I Love how these two ended up together. They had so many different things stacked against them, including horrible family members, that I loved how they overcame it all. The end was especially sweet after the turmoil these two faced. This story would not have been the same without Kendall and Drew. I’m soooo curious about these two and what comes next with Drew!!
I really enjoyed the characters in this story. I was rooting for them to make their situation work. Funny, witty, and steamy; a great book for a weekend!
