Temptation has never come in a hotter package. You know how people say you can never believe what you read on the interwebs? That a hot guy online is probably a creeper with a beer gut and a shoe fetish, not the sexy beast he pretends to be?So I had no clue that the anonymous blogger who contacted my law firm about his naughty website would be droolworthy in real life. Not that I’m interested in … Not that I’m interested in him in that way.
Attorneys can’t go around sleeping with their clients. Not even if he is the most beautiful man I’ve ever met and so ridiculously smart he makes my nerdy-girl heart sigh.
Besides, he has too much on the line to risk taking a chance on the insane chemistry building between us. We both do.
I’ve always followed the rules. Too bad he makes me want to break each and every one of them.

I think I need to check on the blog real quick.
I’m so light and happy and hopeful after reading this book.
I loved both author’s writing individually, and now I’m experiencing the duo and I’m hooked!
The book was the perfect mixture of love, huntimes, sexiness and even angst moments when everything seems to go wrong.
The characters captivated me in such a deep level and when I closed the book, I was already missing them.
Evie is an attorney, a really good one, that might be tired of the pressure and so many hours devoted to a work that not always recognizes her effords.
She is professional, a little introspective, and also funny, sweet, indepedent, loyal, so smart and sexy without knowing it. A total girl-next-door but with even more appeal.
I loved her at every page and for her ethics, her strength, her vulnerability, her kindness and honesty. She was one heck of a heroine.
“She laughs, and it makes me smile. I’m finding I’d do anything to make this girl smile”
Joshua “Josh” Cartwright is from elite. Coming from a wealthy and famous family (and a brother running for the senate), he exudes grace and discreption. Well….or so they thought, because his D is whole other story.
Based on bet with his crazy best friend Drew, Josh starts showing all he’s got (and he’s got a lot!) on a blog – fastly turned popular – All About The D.
You can imagine what this is about lol
Needing representantion for this, um, secret side job, he ends up reaching up to Evie to defend his interests and assets.
What they both don’t expect is that their chemistry is so off the charts, their connection is undeniable, their feelings are all over the place and that, sooner than what they could think, they become so important to one another.
“Is Josh Cartwright the universe’s way of giving me a high five after years of giving me the finger?”
I loved them apart, with their best friends (Kendall and Drew, both crazy, both loyal), and I loved them even more together.
It was so refreshing and heart warming how sweet and tender they were, how they were always trying to touch one another, and not only on a sexual way, but also on a nurturing and loving way.
They wanted to care, protect and cherish one another. It was so deep and fullfilling, and what I loved is that it was so real, the way the authors gave them life made everything come to life right before my eyes. It was as if I was really seeing them in person, and I believed their feelings.
I laughed out loud, I had unshed tears in my eyes, I got mad at shallow people, I rooted for the crazy ones, even if they made mistakes, I loved them and I didn’t want it to end.
At first, it was All About The D, but by the end, it was all about their love.
Lex Martin and Leslie McAdam are a killer writing duo! All About the D is so darn funny, but very sweet at the same time. I love that Josh wasn’t the typical rich playboy. He comes from money and has plenty of his own, but he is still down to earth and is genuinely a good person. Josh and Evie have that spark. I loved how Josh brought out Evie’s confidence and made her feel beautiful when most days she tries to hide in plain sight. They brought out the best in one another!
I can’t wait to see what this writing duo comes up with next! If it is as funny as All About the D, we are all in for a treat.
I loved this book. The characters were great and made it an easy fun read.
A new to me author with an easy, light, refreshing and fun read!
Drew is that mate! You know the one who means well but is an acquired taste. He’s brash, has no etiquette and is usually drunk. Josh is the youngest son from a prominent Portland family. After finding his fiancé is cheating he hits the bottle. Drew sets a dare…and some people just can’t say no to a dare. Josh now has a new blog – All About the D. It’s tasteful as far as dick pics go and he has a huge (pun intended) following. He is is need of legal advice and given the sensitive material and wanting to keep his anonymity he seeks representation from a new legal firm.
Evie’s last partner dropped her because she wasn’t spontaneous. The office bitch calls her Miss Frumpy behind her back. She gets a lead for a new client who has a blog which is NSFW. Oh my! Not what she was expecting at all, an skyline with a tasteful addition. When she meets Josh, his dilemma of his name being given to those on a needs to know only basis is understandable. This may ruin his family name and his brother the Senators, climb up the political ladder. Now she has to pitch this unorthodox clients request to her boss and his stuffy partners.
Loved the two characters and the witty banner between them.
I loved this story!!!! Can’t wait to read more =)
I read this book in preparation for the Surprise, Baby book and I am glad that I did. I loved Evie even though she did have insecurities and you couldn’t blame her after you hear what she had gone thru she did go for what she wanted and now she wanted Josh. I also liked Josh, however I did get upset with him in two instances..1/ when he was sitting in the restaurant with those woman and did not tell them he had a girlfriend, but that their suggestion would be fun and then he couldn’t understand why Evie would get mad..Huh? yeah not I agreed with her. Then there was also the instance that she was looking thru his emails-(ok she wrong there) but when she told him how she felt, he played it off as not important I also agreed with her..That being said I did like him and was also happy that they ended up together..Did not like Drew and can’t wait to see how he goes for redemption. Enjoy!
Enough to make me laugh out loud! Steamy and HOT!!!
I lol so much .
Love, love, LOVE this book!
Excellent and original storyline. Definitely one of my favorites.
This book was so entertaining I loved it!
You’ll fall head over heels for this D!
With Surprise, Baby coming out telling us all about Drew & Kendall, I decided to revisit Evie & Josh. It’s been 2 years since I first read it and it is every bit as fantastically delicious as I remember! Funny, sweet, hot, tender, sweet with a side of dumb drunk best friend and family and work drama. Oh and a very popular meat stick.
