“Like Julie Garwood, Patricia Rice employs wicked wit and sizzling sensuality.” Mary Jo Putney, author No Longer a Gentleman “Mac” MacTavish impulsively steals his late sister’s neglected children, only to discover it’s easier to handle a clipper in a hurricane than steer two ornery brats. What he needs is a nanny until he can take the children back to his parents in America.Knowing herself to be … America.

All A Woman Wants
“A fine job…an unlikely but heartening romance…complex, sympathetic characters…moving conclusion.”–Publishers Weekly
“All A Woman Wants is a very delightful story. Bea’s struggle to be independent is amusing, charming and inspirational, and Mac’s struggle to teach Bea makes this a terrific novel. The dialogue is sharp, witty, and intelligent. Don’t miss it.” MKN—Rendezvous

Beatrice is a fun character with many quirks and fears that make sense giving how she was raised. Enter Lachlan who is her complete polar opposite. I love that he loved her for being a bigger, curvier woman and for being herself. The children were devils and I did not like how the adults gave into their horrid behavior.
I thought everything was …
A very entertaining book both an adventure and love turns people’s heads around. Love the conflicts and the character growth. The love making was well done.
sexual scenes too explicite & not necessary for good story
Enjoyed this Victorian age novel. It was a great easy read with a wonderful story line.
Loved the character development especially “James” and Bea’s aunt.
An enchanting story of an angelic beauty who wants to be independent and her perfectly suited husband around a group of good-natured people!
I read this type of book in between heavier reading. Enjoy them
Sweet, innocent and just enjoyable to read.
I loved it
really enjoyed it, fast paced with good characters.
Always enjoy her writing.
Fun to read. The characters are reminiscent of ‘Seven brides for seven brothers’. Enjoyed it.
Just an easy, not overly sexy, entertaining book. I’ll read her again.
It was a fun story with some quirky characters. It was fun to read even though you mostly know how its going to end.
Very good book!
The story is a bit slow. But in this case it wasn’t bad. More like a Sunday stroll in the English countryside. The ending is very sweet.
Better than reading a cookbook on a rainy day.
Another winner. Loved every page. Would love to read more from this author!!!
Fun read, different.
The premise was interesting but the book and all the emotions were too long and too much
The book moved too slowly
This book took the reader on an unpredictable enjoyable journey.
