Being captured by aliens is better than being sent home… Faced with the prospect of going back back to over-crowded earth with it’s slum-cities, she takes a high-stakes, off the book mission into the heart of enemy territory.
When things go sideways, she expects to end up as a prisoner of war, not holed up and kept secret from every one else on the ship by the sexiest alien guy. One who’s determined to prove that enemies can make the best lovers…
Sometimes love can be found in the most unexpected of places… like under a seating rack.
Riis K’Vass knew humans could be unpredictable and, frankly, insane, but even he didn’t expect them to try and sneak onto a heavily armed and armored warship, filled with a small army. They did though, and were easily captured. But, the numbers don’t add up, and Riis realizes that they’re missing one human. A female hiding in the tiniest of spaces, easily missed with how tiny human women are. A female who takes his breath away with her beauty and makes him smile with her stubbornness and intelligence.
Just a few days. At least, that’s what he tells himself. If he can keep her secret for long enough to get himself some mating marks and bond her to him, then they’ll never be able to take her away from him.
But jealous eyes are always watching and a warship is no place for keeping secrets. Especially where rare and coveted females are concerned. When Randy is discovered, Riis must fight for his life and a chance at a life with his little mate. Because mating marks don’t do a warrior any good if he’s dead…

Fun and fast! A great addition to this series!
A great little short filler story with two strong, capable and likeable characters.
No angst or fighting a bond, just genuine feelings that start as like and end up love.
A few tidbits are thrown out that show a direction this series is hopefully going.
I was kindly offered a copy of this book for an honest review but I bought it.
Nice to see the more normal plebs in this series getting a chance at happiness in this short story, instead of always focusing on the amazing people.
Alien Warrior’s Secret was a quick read. I found myself amused by Riis and his responses to Randy. Randy was smart, quick witted and brave fighting for both her and Riis. There was a lot in such a fast read that I couldn’t put it down until I finished.
Randy knew the mission was deadly but she never expected it to net her a mate. Riis K’Vass never expected to get a mate but now that he has can he keep her?
I enjoyed this quick read by Ms. Carter. Randy was a strong independent woman working in a man’s world. She is wonderful at she does and knows her current mission has little chance of success but she will do her best…and her best is almost good enough until she meets Riis. Riis finds himself captivated by Randy and I love his determination to make her his. He treats her with kindness and gently woos her. I enjoyed seeing him slide effortlessly under Randy’s guard. This is a wonderful quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love the men of Lathar and Riis is no exception. I enjoyed seeing him find his way into Randy’s heart. I loved seeing him fight to retain it. I loved this story and look forward to more from this world.
Love me some Lathar!! This a short read but it packs a punch.
Miranda, aka Randy, is a pilot but after a run-in with a pondscum groper, who saldy was also a superior officer, she finds herself on a mission to a lathar Warship. She may have nerves of steel when it comes to flyng but how will shae handle being discovered but a very tall, very sexy, very unnverving alien warrior?
Riis can’t believe his luck when he finds the tiny alien woman hiding in the ship that tried to board his warship She is perfect, even though she is tiny. She has a trong will and doesn’t do anything the easy way, something he finds increasingly sexy!
Riis may be a warrior at work but when it’s just him and Randy he is just so sweet! HE doesn’t rush, demand or grope. He wants Randy to come to him when she is ready to accept him.
There are little hints at the larger storyline arc, including the poor VP who has been imprisoned/abducted. It was a great little read and even though Randy may be stubborn, she was open from the start to a relationship, of whatever kind, with Riis. Lots more goodies to come – I’m desperate for a certain Emperor to fall!!!

Definitely a Must Read!!
Miranda Rivers aka: Randy was a pilot on a mission that went bad. As her luck will have it she was captured. Riis K’Vass is an Alien Warriors of the Lathar and today was his lucky day. Could he keep his human hidden from the rest or will fight them all?
This author has done it again another Warrior hit the jackpot.
Rii’s Deserved Better
I really love this series and this book but I will be honest that it ended way too quickly. I was really getting into the story expecting to get updated on some of the previous characters and too find out more on peace talks.
Admittedly the author would not know of my expectations as she is not a mind reader. I will say that Rii’s deserved a longer story..
I won’t stop reading this series or reviewing because I love the K’Vass Lathar world.
A short, sweet love story!
It’s brief, but Ms. Carter is able to pack a satisfyingly full story into a relatively small space. Riis K’Vass is the lucky Latharian who found Randy, spiriting her away for his very own. Inevitably, there are consequences.
I love Randy! She puts up with no nonsense, she’s smart and capable and she knows what she wants. Lucky Riis! Please read to find out the fates of Randy and Riis.
