Abducted by a cold-blooded bounty hunter…
Literally cold blooded.
Rogar is seven feet of muscle and power wrapped in smooth, reptilian scales.
His client is an alien crime boss who wants me as his bride. As far as Rogar is concerned, I’m nothing but a paycheck.
But when we find ourselves marooned on an mysterious planet, my alien captor becomes my protector.
Our days are filled with danger … planet, my alien captor becomes my protector.
Our days are filled with danger as we struggle to survive in this savage world.
Our nights, on the other hand…
I should hate him. So why do I find him so irresistible?
How can his cool scales heat my blood this way? Why does my love-starved skin scream for his alien touch?
And what’s he hiding beneath that helmet that he refuses to take off?

An exciting read from beginning to end!

Rogar is an alien bounty hunter who captures a human female named Clare, for a ruthless alien Lord who wants her for his harem. It was”just business’ as far as he was concerned. However, when his bounty is almost stolen from him by other hunters, he escapes with Clare only to find their ship is damaged, and they crash land on an alien world. Their troubles do not end there as they have to fight an exotic, multi-legged, alien predator and the returning Bounty hunters who leave Rogar stranded on the planet, taking Clare with them. What happens next? You will have to read the book. I found this book was an exciting read from beginning to end. The chemistry between Clare and Ragar was explosive, and their happiness, in the end, was assured.

Rogar is an alien bounty hunter. His next bounty is a human named Clare. She’s to be traded for his brother to a crime lord so he can make her his concubine. But he gets attacked on earth and he and Clare barely make it to his ship. Then they have to land on a remote planet and things get out of hand after that. Rogar realize me that she is his mate and he will do what it takes to protect her. Fun and exciting

The great character and storyline development kept me totally hooked as I turned each and every page until the very end!
This splendid Sci-fi alien warrior romance certainly grabbed my attention within the first few pages & kept it until the end. The well-paced plot is interesting & full of adventurous situations. There are good scene descriptions & world building. The various characters are well-developed with individual personalities & develop good chemistry between them although one of them is inclined to be quite inquisitive or confrontational at times
There is: a Mezentine warrior & bounty hunter (Rogar) is hired by a “Outer Rim Crime Boss” (Lord Putrude) to abduct a certain human female to be his concubine/bride but when he abducts finally abducts (Clare) he discovers that she is a very defiant human female but then the attractions flare so he is quite determined to claim & protect her, spaceships, adventure, action, twists & turns, secrets, drama, suspense, intrigue, devious plans, abduction, complications, threats, danger, conflict, violence, confusion, defiance, strange attractions, memories, confrontations, unexpected assistance, steamy scenes & a well-deserved satisfying ending with a few interesting surprises. I really would recommend this book & it can be read as a standalone.
Claire is a cosplayer who gets taken captive at a convention
Appropriately dressed as Leia she’s wanted as a sex slave by an evil galactic criminal
Only the bad guy sends an alpha alien warrior who falls for Claire
It’s a wild ride into space , on a strange planet and a face off against the villains before a highly satisfying HEA
One Sci fi romance that’s sweet and steamy perfect for stressful times and reading breaks

I liked this. A new angle on the abduction story. Cosplay and a Comicon Convention? Loved it! Rogar and Clare’s story moved along well and the characters were well rounded. I liked the story line and the idea of the Progenitors and travel between stars. A wonderful HEA and room for sequels. A really good read.

This was a great story. Clare is abducted by a 7 ft. alien. Right in the middle of a Sci-Fi convention. You find out that she might be a weak human but she pretty strong for the circumstance she finds herself in. Rogar is a little teddy bear. Well he turns out to be a great character and a good guy. The story grabs you the first page and takes you on a great ride. Adventure, action, fighting, violence, confusion, passion, love and the real reason that Rogar takes this bounty. Read the story to find out what happens. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Book one in the Galactic Hunter’s Guild series a well written story and I know I want to read the next book. This book is divided into parts PART ONE: ABDUCTED, PART TWO: STRANDED, and PART THREE: RESCUED. I found that I could read a part and put the book down and go do something else and come back and easily start reading again. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, and romance. This sci-fi roman ce was well written and edited, with few typos that I caught in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was excellent, with the current intergalactic community built on the bones of the ancient civilization which was much more technologically advanced then the current space faring races. The characterization of the hero and heroine was great, with both of them being vibrant, sympathetic individuals. The heroine of this romance never hesitated to defend herself or pull the trigger when necessary, which is one of my favorite things about this author’s writing style and voice. The development of the romantic relationship between these two characters was fairly natural and organic, especially considering the length of the novel and how much plot was happening in addition to the romance. The pacing and plot of this novel was excellent, with plenty of action and adventure elements and me the reader rapidly turning the pages, because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. There was very little angst in this novel, and very high stakes, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel contains the Fated Mates trope. The world building, plot, and pacing all rated four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship also rated four stars, for a combined score of four stars. This novel has a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this novel. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy sci-fi romance novels with alien heroes and adventure elements. I plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel, for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would like to re-read it occasionally.

Other worlds are able to see our Instagram accounts and other things on the internet. Clare is a young woman in college that is into cosplay and the day she is taken, she is at a Comicon as slave Leia. Lord Putrude is the ruler of a moon that has seen her pictures and wants Clare for his bride. Rogar is the bounty hunter who is going to acquire her. That’s where things fall apart. Rogar and Clare get to know each other as they are chased by another bounty hunter and are shot down by an “uninhabited” planet. Eventually Clare ends up being taken to Lord Putrude. Ahh…..there is a HEA, but you’ll have to read it to find out what happens.
I really liked this story. The author does a great job building her world. There are lots of aliens out there, but they are all from an ancient race that disappeared eons ago. It all makes sense, in a convoluted way. I definitely recommend this book and I’m going to go to see if the author has written more books. Rogar is a 7-feet tall Guild bounty hunter, seemingly emotionless as he has to be for his job. Through his contact, he is hired by the crime boss of the Outer Rim, Lord Putrude, a creature with a particularly bad reputation, to bring him a particular Earthling, Clare McNeill, to be his concubine. Although this is not strictly a bounty-hunter job – more like kidnapping actually — Rogar expects this to be a very simple job, except when he unexpectedly began to feel temptation and yearnings for the female’s softness. He shouldn’t feel anything, least of all from a defiant female such as this one! Yet she brings out a strong protective instinct in him and his body actually wants him to claim her as his own!
If Rogar gives in to his desires rather than completing his contract, it would be a blatant breaking of his Creed, his code of honor. But the human looks so helpless (his thoughts, not the reader’s), and he can’t resist the urge calling to him to make her his mate.
Grab your copy and see if the huge alien with scales and a visored-helmet can conquer the human’s heart (and survive to tell about it). He tracks her down at a Comicon convention, by the way, so that should set your expectations! You are in for a treat with this one, so enjoy!
Wow! This was a lot better than I expected. Clare is really very strong, especially considering the circumstances for much of the book. Rogar turns out to be such a good guy. The ending just made me so happy. I will admit to laughing at the epilogue. “I guess it runs in the family.” Dear god, I don’t know why that struck me as so brilliant, but it did.

What a great story. Loved the action, intrigue and steam.
HEA of course. No cliffhanger .
Great world building .
This is a story I will reread.
Definitely a keeper.
I liked the writing style. This is the first book I’ve read from this author. But it won’t be the last.
Well here is another book by Lizzy Bequin and I loved it. So we have Clare who is a designer and happens to be at a convention when things get crazy and she is taken away. INTO SPACE! She has no idea why. Then we have Rogar who is a bounty hunter who took a job to get his brother back. Well he did not expect to find other bounty hunters after Clare. So now the adventure begins and lord do they have an adventure. Then one night things get really heated and she feels that there could more to him than he tells her. Of course they get to know each other and find something incredible. We are constantly on the go in this book and it does not slow down til you get to the end. I loved every bit of it. I do hope that we get more and this turns into a series.
I enjoy Ms. Bequin’s books. They are guaranteed to include a dominate alpha-type male who knows what he wants. It is usually an overwhelming need to protect and love certain feisty females that lead them on a merry chase.
That being said, I usually like the female characters but Clare irritated me in the beginning. For someone who gets abducted and is taken into space, she does some pretty stupid things. For example, she’s in a shootout and she even states that the alien that has her is a better option than the one that is killing humans and still she makes it difficult for him, which of course makes it easier if the other aliens to catch up. When the crash land on a unknown planet and are hovering over a cliff, what does the stupid girl do, she shoots him. She has no sense of survival what so ever. Her was nice to her. She even tells herself she needs him for survival and she shoots him. Idiot! It’s a good thing that she comes to her senses because it was enough to have me cry out ‘Come on’. I almost wanted bad things to happen to her due to her own stupidity. I really liked Rogan, though and what he stood for. I hope his brother Kozar has a book soon and gets a female that’s not as hapless
