When hope is dimmest, a ray of light breaks through…DaisyBeing abducted from Earth was terrifying. When the fish-headed, aquatic aliens took me I knew I was in trouble. Thankfully I was raised to be a fighter. I’ve struggled against my captors at every turn but how many times can a girl get beat down before coming to realize you can’t win? It’s wearing me down and I’m finally coming to realize … me down and I’m finally coming to realize there’s no Prince Charming coming to rescue me.
I can’t give up though, not yet. In a desperate attempt I join up with another girl from Earth and this time I’m either getting free or else. There is no other option, I can’t live like this.
Then the floor shakes and winged demons from hell invade. At least they’re fighting the aquatics but is this a rescue or am I trading one master for another?
In this battle it’s not just my life at stake, this time my heart is on the line too.
Darnok
Another mission, one more battle. Maybe this will be my last, maybe not. I can’t bring myself to care anymore.
Being bigger than all the other warriors my entire life has been one lone string of abuse. The other males pick fights with me to prove how tough they are and the Queens abuse me because I’m so big I always stand out. All they see is the giant, none of them see the person I am.
None of them see my dreams or my desire to be accepted. How I want someone to love me for me. Even my one friend barely sees because in this world I have to hide that part of me away.
There is no compassion in my world. There is nothing to live for except to fight. Go to the next battle and see if this time it’s my last. It doesn’t matter, there is no other end for me. Sooner or later, it will happen and I’ve accepted it. At least then my suffering will end.
Until this mission. Until I meet the human female Daisy. Then everything changes. I’ll fight all of them to save her, to make her mine. She is the light in my universe and I’m not going to let it fade

I’ve read a few books of this series, and so far Juno Wells has created an addicting storyline. In this book we meet Daisy, a human captive, taken by an aquatic alien race. They are awful captors, mistreat the women, and then sell them as chattel. Daisy is being prepped for sale when Draconians warriors detect the aquatic vessel with humans on board. Immediately the Draconians rescue the human females and this is when Daisy first lays eyes on Darnok. While she is initially curious, she takes her time in getting to know the Draconians, who seem ready to serve and bend to the demand of the human “queens”. Darnok, a massive warrior even for Draconian standards, is self-conscious because unlike “breeders” who are gentler and handsomer than the warriors, he does not possess the fine good looks and lacks courting finesse. However little does he know that Daisy loves everything about him, including his scars, which comes with a story that broke my heart. I absolutely loved this couple. I loved how Daisy goes beyond the physical and sees Darnok for the beautiful soul he is. Darnok gives his all expecting nothing, and is rewarded with everything he could ever hope for.
Great characters, interesting plot & very adventurous alien romance. Darnok is a warrior and has had a tough time with his self-worth. He’s her protector, she’s drawn to him regardless of his appearance. He’s very….capable but also has a soft heart. She’s wise, never gives up hope, compassionate and feisty. Their story is interesting with some twist and entertaining. Full of alien action, good and some not so good, with very informative alien customs and even a little humor. I really love the unique hatchlings & the queen concept. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.
I really enjoyed the whole book, it was very hard to put down, I Definately reccomend you read this. This was an arc read

A great addition to the series, Daisy and Darnok are both characters that will draw you into the story, but their individual stories are just as much of a draw for me. Where Daisy begins this book as a beaten-down prisoner, she comes up swinging and her story gets deeper as the story progresses. Darnok is adorably inept at love but I was constantly rooting for him to win his queen. There were parts of the story that were almost obnoxiously sweet, but they are easy to skim through. The story focuses so much on these two that you can’t help but be invested in their lives. Daisy is a survivor and Darnok deserves a break. I loved these two characters and their story just makes me love this series even more than I already do. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series, I only wish it was easier to put them in order.
I couldn’t put this book down, even though I have pressing engagement. So I kept excusing myself to snatch quiet moments to continue reading…It is that good.

I kept losing interest and putting this book down to do other things. The plot and blurb had me eagerly waiting to read this as I’ve read others from this author and this particular series. Unfortunately the expectations fell flat just like the story did for me. The main characters, Darnok and Daisy, met, immediate attraction and then happily ever after. Not quite as I’ve just said because there’s kidnapping, killings and alien babies involved throughout but the action was muted by bland and oftentimes rushed explanations and scenarios. It felt overdone and haphazard or maybe just lacking in getting a heartfelt emotion from me. I can’t really explain why I feel this way but it was hard not to just skip over most of the dialogue and pages. Read for yourself as it might engage your inner romantic and perhaps leave you with a better overall feeling than it did for me.

I enjoyed looking again to the world of the Draconian’s and their Queens. Both the H & h characters blend well together. I look forward to see where the Queens will take them.
Great story and interesting characters. This is my first time reading this author and it’s a great introduction to their work. I really enjoyed the book.

This book is steamy hot. But the characters are multi dimensional and yummy. They may start out at odds but in the end love conquers all.

Alien Protector’s Rescued Bride by Juno Wells is an incredible alien human romance. This book has a wonderfully unusual world in which a unique set of different types of aliens are featured. I loved the way that they different alien races were described and how their differences were portrayed through their actions in the story. The world building in this book is just amazing. The characters are all so interesting and compelling that I fell in love with many of them featured in this story. I especially found myself falling in love with the character of Darnok and the human Daisy when she finally claims him as her mate. In my opinion, this is one alien human love story that any romance reader will love. Alien Protector’s Rescued Bride is a 5++ star adventure filled steamy romance.
Daisy is abducted by aliens then rescued by Darkon a Draconian. He’s a warrior and warriors don’t mate the breeders do. But Daisy and Darkon don’t follow traditions. They seek their own HEA. Fun read with interesting characters.

From slavery to royalty
Love and compassion make a world of difference to a battle scarred Draconian warrior and a human woman rescued from slavery. Great world building, steamy bedroom action and fierce fight scenes keep you glued to your e-reader.
When I saw this book information I took a chance. I was thinking it’s either going to be lame or it’s going to be good. It actually turned out to be pretty good. When Daisy stops being afraid of the “men” on board the rescue ship, there was actually some tender moments between Daisy and Darnok. It was kind of amusing when Darnok this huge warriors is on the run AWAY from spending time in Daisy’s presence. Of course, it was both funny and kind of sad why he was doing that. Of course there will be the required “alien” sex but I like that it wasn’t the whole story.
This book turned out to be a wild fantasy ride with some really good world building. The aliens, the culture of Darnok’s race, and the re-building of worlds was pretty imaginative.
The emotions were also there, especially the suffering that Darnok went through. And how messed up the men of his world were when it came to how they were valued or not.
Daisy was also a really good main character, who became so beaten down from all the things she went through. Physically, emotionally she was pretty much on empty. Still it didn’t take all that long for her regain her strength when someone weaker is threatened.
I liked how the story ended and the Epilogue shows some of the new beginnings that have taken place. I didn’t realize until I finished reading the book that there was a Glossary at the end. It was a nice touch and added to the story but I guess for me it wasn’t that hard to enjoy the gist of the book anyway.
Before I forget, there was also some humor in this story as well. That’s something that I always enjoy.
