A pact between worlds. The search for a true human mate. A sci-fi fairy tale come true… seven princes has endured years of searching for the human female who can bear his children. Two years of parties, genetic compatibility scanners, and failed attempts at finding the one woman who was meant for him.
In despair that he will never find his mate among the glittering party guests, Prince Gardax begins the search in earnest, and finds his mate in the most unlikely of places – the palace kitchens.
Amy Allan was just looking for a job, anything to ensure the survival of herself and her baby sister. Working in the great palace of the eldest Trilyn prince seemed like a good idea at the time, and the only option available for a war-refugee with a toddler in tow. But with a backbreaking workload and a nightmare boss, hoping for something better seems futile.
When the devastatingly handsome alien prince bursts into the kitchens demanding his mate, Amy’s last shred of hope disappears as her domineering boss, Darla, steps in to claim the prince for herself. Darla will stop at nothing to become a princess, even if it means threatening Amy and her sister. Can Amy defeat her nemesis and win the prince’s heart? Or will she lose everything she’s fought so hard to keep?

The first book in the Trilyn Alien Fairy Tales series a well written Sci-Fi story that kept me turning pages. Trilyn Prince Gardax and human Amy Allan, and her sister Corinne’s story of suspense, drama, danger, evil, a villain, a romance. I want to read the next book.
Great story. I loved the main character. The different twist in the story definitely kept you on your toes.
A SciFi meets fairytale combo that had me rooting for our “cinderella” from start to finish and I was extremely glad that she could kick some ass without the help of her alien prince charming. She was strong, and selfless, and caring. Amy had a past and love pushed her forward no matter how hard things were. She was a character you read and think that is how strong I want to be when I grow up…even if you are an adult. Our alien prince started out likable, obviously male with his wandering eyes, but very loyal once he first meets Amy and he is sure, without the scanner, that she is his mate. Later on in the series, I think he gets a bit weak. He goes through all this stuff to find her despite her running and yet in the blink of an eye he is done and weak. I also was not a huge fan of how the sex scenes were placed, in dreams, not even a mate connected dream that was proof they should be together because of some telepathic connection. Nope, just regular sex dreams…even when the worst shit ever was happening to them which would cause anyone else nightmares in the extreme. All in all, there are a few hiccups but its a good read and I look forward to the rest of the series.
Kind of a stupid book and plot
Couldn’t put it down.
I enjoyed the book and the characters. Amy was a survivor and could take care of herself and her sister. The Prince was rich and handsome. Some of the hurdles seemed a bit contrived but it was an overall enjoyable read.
I enjoyed ready a good story based upon a different reality. Creative and good to read
This sub-genre can be great escapism, but honestly, there are much better ones out there than this. The whole thing felt tired and all too predictable.
Didn’t finish the book. Was bored and the characters did not reel me in.
Good, likeable characters. Truly evil bad guy. Nice twist on Cinderella. I enjoyed this book because the heroine was no nonsense, tough and loyal.
Predictable, very Cinderella like. No delving into the aliens culture or anything further. Sorry, I didn’t like it.
The first book in this series I’ve read. I enjoyed it. I especially liked the main characters. I liked the way they clicked.
Couldn’t get into the story.
Great read
Wonderful twist on Cinderella! Great read
Cinderella with an alien twist. I throughly enjoyed this book. Thought the resolution of the plot happened too easy and fast in my book. Still enjoyed it.
I liked the concept of this story but was astonished at some things the prince never questioned and the lengths that others went. But despite that I enjoyed the instant chemistry between the main characters and the world the author built. I hope to read of the prince’s brothers finding their mates as well. The narrator was new to me but did a fantastic job bringing the whole story to life. I received this audiobook by my request in exchange for an honest review from Audiobook Boom.
