Earth girls might be popular…but they’re definitely not easy.
Sergeant Cat Moore has a little problem. Well, actually a big problem… When her base is attacked and boarded by an alien war group, she finds herself in the sights of their leader, Tarrick, a Latharian war-commander. Their captors might be ripped, hot warriors looking for that one special woman, but the women of Sentinel Five have … Five have this little thing against being slaves. Even if their leader is well on his way to stealing Cat’s heart as well as her body… Because her sexy alien has a thing about making sure her every need is met and has some very inventive ways of doing so. Until she gives him a bad case of mating marks around his wrist, and all bets are off.
Why? Because her sexy alien lover left one thing out when he introduced himself… Like the fact he’s a freaking alien prince…
The strong, not so silent, and ruthless type, Tarrick’s duty as a war commander means little time for himself. With no women of their own, a base full of human women is a bounty he can’t ignore. Nor can he ignore the little human whose voice called out to him across the galaxy, a woman he’ll stop at nothing to make his own.
Then a new player enters the arena. A dangerous rival challenges the K’Vass claim on Terran space and all it’s women. Tarrick K’Vass can’t afford to let any of the earth women be captured, especially not his little human, Cat. When she’s is taken, he’ll do anything to rescue her. Up to and including starting an intergalactic war…
Contains three previously released serial novellas: Captured by the Alien Lord, Saved by the Alien Lord, and Bonded to the Alien Lord. If you have already purchased these novellas, please do not purchase this book.

HOT!!! HOT!!!HOT !!! GREAT READ!
VESH! What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger and deadlier. Indra is serious street fighter dangerous. She is the perfect match for Nyek. Nyek’s background was fascinating and emotional. I loved both Indra and Nyek separately. This book definitely took the Lathar in a little bit of a different direction and yet managed to fill in a number of the gaps between humans and the Lathar. Together, with Indra and Nyek, the appeal and action was awesome and I couldn’t put their story down.
Alien Lord’s Captive is book one in what is turning out to be an extensive series. The main premise of the series is human first contact with sentient alien life, and the rough ride following as they realize they’re definitely not the baddest of them all.
Tarrick (you guessed it, our alien male lead) is a war commander for the Lathar Empire who just discovered humans and, more importantly, their females. Yes, this is another there aren’t enough women series, but hey, it’s a great base when your genre is both sci-fi AND romance, and this seems to be done well. When he captures the human base, he gathers the women up as is the normal protocol and claims one for himself. That’s about where his expectations come to a screeching halt, since the human women prove very quickly that they’re not the meek and mild females the Lathar race is accustomed to.
I rather liked that Cat is his match because she’s not a commander or some top notch Marine fighter but a communications tech, so when she shows that she’s not a fragile flower it’s even more evident that the women of the human species aren’t meek lambs. I do enjoy her dedication to her people despite the whole soul mate thing (yup, this is a thing).
To address some of the reviews by people who didn’t finish the book or clearly didn’t read it… There is definitely coercion and threats of what amounts to rape in the first of the book because their culture sees women as being both rare and needing everything done for them, hence the property concept (this is not exactly new, as many human cultures have been this way and some still are). This mentality is addressed, and is, actually, a big part of the book. This book is setting the stage for the following books in which the humans will be seen maybe not as equals, but much less like cattle. The point is progress. The coercion of the lead female is probably the least appealing aspect of the book, but the whole soul mate thing, though a flimsy bandage, does cover that over (and she’s a very active participant, keeping that in mind). Also, the drugged comments aren’t accurate. The author very clearly explains the purpose of the injection, and it’s not a date rape drug. Also to be clear, there is sex but this is NOT an erotica. If you think it is, read a few; you’ll change your mind.
Overall, the book was good for it’s category. I enjoyed the premise for the series and will continue reading.
I love this book. Now I am going to have to get the other books in this series. I want to find out about each of the strong and sassy military women and their mates. Who each ends up with. I oh so love the love scenes, they are so hot. Thank you for those. Thank you for the wonderful book. Keep up the great work. I look for to reading more of your books.
I’ve read and all of the others in the group “Warriors of the Lathar”. I fell in love with this series. Cat and Tarrick are great characters. There is a lot of action and a lot of steam. The mating marks add something to the story. I am anxiously awaiting the story of their intrepid leader. I heartily recommend this book and the entire series. I preorder all of the releases in this group. I do feel that the author seems to be grasping for new characters. If you like hot aliens with strong, powerful human ladies. This is the book and series for you. These ladies do not fool around!
Like so many alien, shifter and vampire books it’s just a way to sell pornography.
Bit predictable but enjoyable
Well, darn! Now I have to get the whole series! Love the characters.
I read these as a three parter so my review reflects this fact.
I have also found this book seems to have two different titles too.
1 – CAPTURED BY THE ALIEN LORD
Good plot but I struggled with the content re, accept my advances or become a slave or whore.
Yes I understand the whole alien culture being different and I can’t say I would have done anything different if I was in that position.
Just way too short to do it justice.
1.1 – SAVED BY THE ALIEN LORD
3.5 stars. This continues on from book 1.
Cat and the other women show the K’Vass Lathar what they are made of when the T’Laat Lathar arrive and steal the human women. The women manage to get hold of weapons and give the T’Laat a good hiding.
Cat and Tarrick come to a mutually agreeable compromise on their future.
1.2 – BONDED TO THE ALIEN LORD
Even though this is book three it is really the end of Cat and Jakkar’s story. We do get lots of interaction with all the other characters we have met.
We find out more about the Lathar, their way of life, beliefs and who they are as individuals. We also find out about their belief in mates and mating marks.
I loved this book!!!!!
Enjoyed the characters, after reading this book I wanted to know what happened to all the women in the book. Waiting on the rest of series
Needs better bad guys and drama
Series is terrific. Can’t wait for the next book to come out. SLA
I love this series! Great characters and story line with sexy aliens.
great read
This is a great transitional book. It moves the storyline of the series along. This is more of a novella. It is not a stand alone. It is a very good story all its own, but without the over reaching story, it has too many gaps.
OK, the title is DORKY, but the book was better than the title, way better, thank God. I would have wished for it to have more back ground on the aliens, but the plot was there and it made sense. This is a capture fantasy book reminiscent of the 70’s style where the female is captured and convinced she wants the H. I am fine with that, the Hero is an Alien, he doesn’t care about SJWs and it makes sense in this book. I liked it. Period. I would read more books by this author. I want the guy on the cover too.
Great read!
The more paranormal romances I read, the more I like them. This one just solidified that fact. Good romance, nice action, good characters. You can’t ask for much more than that. Yes, quite pleased indeed.
The female lead was a bit to accommodating considering she was a hostage. Gave in without a fight
