I loved this second book in the series. Lots of action, suspense, sexy times and loyalty. Because Juliette had a hard life on the streets for most of her life, it took her a little time to know she loved the Lumerian Knight Torrin. Torrin knew quickly this strong and courageous woman was his. They work together and find love together.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more. It had different aliens dominant with passion and love.

Torrin was a mirror twin and thought he was a Caldorian. But he was a Lumerian Prince that had been placed in hiding along with other princes. He became a Lumerian Knight to protect the Caldorian King. He was held prisoner by other aliens and being tortured when he escaped. While escaping he came across a woman and he knew he had to help her. Juliette fought along with Torrin to escape but he was hurt and then she had to save him. Then he realized she was his mate and had to convince her but he still had a mission as a Knight to finish. They had an interesting and exciting journey as they found their way to their HEA.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is about twin’s that know what the other is into and what each other feels. They have their own way in the world but they don’t like to be a part from each other. The Aliens was looking for Earth females. The King Dagan took over the base on Earth. Now would be the time to get this book. I will be getting more from this author.

Lumerian Knight Torrin Llahsab was captured, imprisoned and tortured by the evil Vilitos. Finally one of them gets careless and Torrin escapes after killing him. However, Torrin is half-dead himself after what they have done to him. So he makes his way to a ship to steal and escape, but he sees a beautiful human woman, bound and gagged, being tormented by the guards and his protective nature won’t let him just abandon her. Although he is badly injured himself, he risks it all to save her.
Nurse Juliette Rosen has been captured by the evil aliens, knowing she would probably end up dead. But a gorgeous stranger came to her rescue, horribly wounded. Can she re-pay the favor and save his life now? The strange blaster wound he sustained is not bleeding, yet it keeps getting larger. When she contacts Dr. Jorvin, she is told he won’t live long enough to get to Earth where she is heading, and he redirects her to Mora Five. But she would have trouble getting the Maju water, only available through the black market, which is the only thing that will save him. And the danger is even greater because Vilitos have now issued a bounty for human females. She saves Torrin, but when she is captured, can her Lumerian Knight get her back before she loses her life? Will the secret about Torrin be revealed?
This book moves at a dizzying pace with so much going on. Just as with Book 1, the characters are brought to life in their words and actions, making things real to the reader. Don’t miss this exciting piece of the story. Will Torrin get the girl in the end?
Wow, this is amazing and I’m seriously sorry I didn’t read the first book in this series. Such complex world building is so good, the aliens so creepy and gross at times. Still a love story with a HFN ending, but an overarching storyline that continues in the next book.

I wished I could have liked this book better… Though it did provide some good universe-building points, it could had done a better job. The action-adventure part was better when compared to the first, though I should state that I might be a tad unfair comparing the two like that when the first was more of a day-in-the-life relationship builder. What I did not like was the sudden ending which was far worse than Book 1. I inadvertently bought Book 3. Let’s see how that one goes.
Action, drama, romance and steam all combine together to make this an awesome read. It’s not too long and perfect for me to read in one sitting. It’s book 2 of a series yet easily reads as a standalone. Loved both the main characters who had strengths in their own ways.
