Art dealer Sasha Montgomery is both nervous and thrilled to be invited to the Caldorian Earth Base for her best friend’s wedding to an alien warrior. One, she’s never seen an alien up close, and two, she made a promise to be there, no matter how much the idea of being surrounded by hundreds of huge alien warriors frightens her.She thinks she’s got it all under control, until Dagan, the groom’s … groom’s best friend, crashes the wedding. He’s smoking hot—way too hot to be an alien—and determined to seduce her.
Sasha gives in to passion with unexpected consequences. Ancient power rises in response to their new-found bond, and the once innocent Sasha discovers that Dagan has been keeping secrets. He’s not just another warrior, he’s a king, and the power rising between them hasn’t been seen in a millennium.
Sasha must learn to control the force clawing its way through her body…or destroy them all.

Such an AWESOME story! You have GOT to read this!
I couldn’t put this book down! The story line, world building, characters, they were all the absolute best! I loved this story! If this is the first story she has written, d@mm! Watch out Best Sellers list, she is on her way to the top! I can’t wait for more to come!
Sasha Montgomery is an art dealer/artist. She is the tiny, shy, virgin girl who is scared of everything. She is attending her best friends wedding/binding ceremony at the Caldorian Earth Base. Years before, aliens, Caldorians, didn’t necessarily take over Earth, but they are the protectors of Earth against other aliens that wish them harm. There is one Earth base and all the trade and political issues between Earth and Caldorians goes through that base. Rachel is getting married/binded to Cam. Cam’s best friend is Dagan. Dagan is the tallest and biggest Caldorian there is, plus he is the King of one forth of their planet. Their planet is ten times the size of Earth. The first time Sasha sees him is at the airport and she was already spooked when this huge guy comes running toward her speaking some foreign language. She bolts. When she gets to the base, Rachel is supposed to meet her, but she doesn’t. She keeps waiting and texting her, but what she sees when she looks up is this huge guy who can’t seem to take his eyes off of her. She doesn’t know what to do since she is just 5’5″ and he is 7′ tall. When they are finally introduced, he picks her up in a big hug and kisses her on both cheeks and then lays one on her for all times. For the next few days, he can’t take his eyes off of her. Every time she looks up, he is looking at her. Rachel says that by that hug and kiss, he has marked her as his so all the other hundreds of Caldorians will stay away from her.
Dagan was looking forward to seeing is best friend Cam again at his binding ceremony. It was his first time on Earth and they needed to talk business too. When he sees the timid female at the airport, which is also the spaceport, he tries to come to her rescue only to frighten her away. When he sees her at the base and realize that she is one of Rachel’s friends, he counts himself as lucky. When he is introduced, he is ready for a binding ceremony himself. They both have issues where he doesn’t know how human protocol goes and she doesn’t understand how Caldorian rituals go either.
I am so looking forward to stories like how Rachel and Cam met, about Ashley, Rachel’s sister, finds love and Falden too.

Sasha is a very quite woman. She gets very nervous around handsome men. So when Dagan shows her attention she runs away. That is until she has no where else to run and has to face him.
Dagan is the king on his planet. Did you see Sasha he knows he has to make her his mate. But he wants her to love him and want him for him not his crown. After their first coupling Sasha’s life is in danger and Dragan will do whatever he can to save her life.
I will be recommending this book to family and friends.

The story is one that kind of starts at a unique starting point. There is a well established back story, much of which is slowly revealed to the reader throughout the book. It’s fast paced and introduces a lot of plots and ideas that are left unresolved by the end of the book, or only vaguely explained. It’s done in a way that simply makes me eager for these to evolve in subsequent books. The heroine suffers from trauma, and the hero is a bit pushy. While likable overall, there are a few moments where he seems to acknowledge that the heroine doesn’t understand the meaning behind certain actions in his culture, but gets angry first and explains later. He’s more in tune with what others will think than he is with her comfort. But his attention is refocused when the suspected danger becomes a reality much sooner than expected. And he has a few very pleasantly steamy internal monologues!

Timid Sasha is more than a little unnerved by the hulking Caldorian warriors roaming the aliens’ Earth base, but she can’t help being fascinated with one particularly powerful male – and he’s intensely focused on her. Dagan, a Caldorian king, didn’t come to Earth to find a bride, but that doesn’t stop him from claiming her. In his eyes, it’s a done deal. Sasha? Well, she’s going to take some convincing. As Dagan woos his mate, there are villainous foes to battle, treachery to confront and dangerous new powers to understand. Watching the apprehensive Sasha transform into a fiery queen is a treat and I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this wonderful new series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is about Sasha that is nervous about her best friends wedding on a Caldodian Earth Base. Sasha thinks she can handle it until Dagan comes into the picture. She is not sure about the big Alien after she meets him so she runs and hides when he try’s to get close to her. Now would be the time to get the book. I will be getting more from this author.

This was a fun adventure. I liked how the characters were introduced. Even though it is the first in the series, it read, to me, as the continuation of a story.
I liked Sasha. Though in the beginning she seemed to be mousy, as I read, I began to understand her more. Dagan is a trip. I liked how he learned when and when not to take over. I liked how the two characters worked together and brought out the best in each other.
This is my first reading of this author. Very spicy. The characters were interesting and made me want to learn more about them.
I hope to be reading more from this author soon.
Again, thanks for a fun escape.
Stupid premise; it didn’t hold my attention. Not a particularly good read
I loved this book, read it 3 times already.
RATED X for explicit sexual content. (The reader was told in the beginning credits. So I knew what I was getting into.) My other criticism of ALIEN KING CRASHES the WEDDING was the male dominance over female characters. That said, I loved the original, unique storyline. Humans, aliens, invisible warriors, and a race of reptile-like antagonists gather on and around Earth and battle for territory. Sparks and a whole lot more fly.
interesting book. i enjoyed reading it. the only thing i had issue with was the end of the book where the main character helps a bunch of people in much the same way as Harry Crewe did at the end of robin mckinley’s “blue sword”… like almost exactly the same. it kind of detracted from the story a bit. other than that it was fun and easy reading.
This book was a surprise. I liked the idea of the earth/alien alliance and I thought the alien king was sweet to Sasha but I got confused with the war that nearly ended Sasha’s life.
If you like this type of book you will enjoy it.
love the book
I really enjoyed meeting these characters and learning about this “world”! So much so that I immediately purchased and read the other books available in the series. Lumerian Knights and Caldorians are wonderful hot alpha heros!
I loved this seriously hot alien romance! Likable characters, lots of steam, and an interesting story. This is my first read by this author and I can’t wait to read the next book of the series.
