Our attraction unleashes a perfect storm… chemistry I feel with Romando is electric. It doesn’t matter what my sister or her mate or their tribe says, mutual attraction this strong can’t be wrong, so I’ll do anything to get him…
I’m Romando, an outcast in my own tribe. One rash, angry act turned me into a pariah and almost got me banished. But what everyone resents the most is that I’m one of the lucky few who’ll be getting a mate. The instant Stormy Weathers blows into Dakon with the other Earth females, my horns tingle. She is meant for me, but I resist the instinct to claim her. You see, she’s related to my nemesis responsible for my outcast state. Honor and pride dictate that I reject her as a suitable mate before she undermines my good intentions. If only I could get her out of my mind…
Alien Intention is a steamy, humorous alien mail-order bride romance set on an ice planet. It’s a standalone read in the Alien Mate series.

Stormy has always fallen for the bad boy and she has again. She was hoping for a new start on a new planet. Stormy always falls for the bad boys on earth, but falling for a handsome, brooding alien will be different, right? Stormy falls for the bad guy. But, Romando had his reasons and now he’s ready to prove that he’s changed when he gets a second opportunity to choose a mate. Only, a couple people don’t want Stormy to find a handsome alien and be happy or for Romando to get a second chance. And, Romando, himself, isn’t sure he wants the sister of his enemy no matter how attracted he is to her. I enjoyed Stormy as the plucky heroine who has had a few bad breaks, but doesn’t let it get her down. She’s sweet, but she has inner strength. She loves her sister, but they don’t see eye to eye and Stormy’s track record with men go against her.
RATING 4.5 STARS
Alien Intention is book three in the Alien Mate series by Cara Bristol. You can purchase this book by itself or as part of a box set which includes all four books in the series. I don’t know what it was about this one but it seemed even more intense than the previous books. My heart was pounding. But that does tend to happen to me when reading about fated love that is being kept apart. Or, maybe it’s just because with each book, I get to know these characters better and fall more in love with this world.
Romando knows he messed up when it came to who was supposed to be HIS mate, Sunny Weathers. He acted rashly and is now paying the price. Now another group of women are coming to Dakon to find mates and because he lost his chance with the previous group, he is being allowed a chance with this group. And then he saw her. His heart sped up, his horns tingled, and he knew she was the mate the fates had chosen just for him. But then he saw her reunite with his nemesis, and he realized that she is the sister of the woman that ruined his life. There is no way he can take this woman for his mate when she is related to that woman!
Stormy Weathers has arrived on Dakon with her six year old son and can’t wait to begin her life her. Not only does she hope to finally get her own Happily Ever After, she gets to be near her sister. Stormy has always had a special talent for choosing the bad boys. She just wants a loving man, or alien, and someone that will love her son. When she first sees him, she can’t even breathe. She’s pretty sure he noticed her as well. But then he looked away and won’t look at her again. Maybe she was mistaken. She has never had a reaction to any man before like this!
Romando and Stormy both felt the initial pull, that zinging chemistry. But things were not working in their favor. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. And this story is a perfect example of don’t judge a book by it’s cover! Or maybe it’s that bad boys can change. I didn’t think I would like Romando with his previous behavior but I did fall in love with him. And I also loved Stormy. I hated everything these two had to go through to find their way to each other. But once they did, they were both steadfast in their dedication to each other.
I’ve enjoyed all three of the books so far in this series so much. The final book in this series, book four, is called Alien Mischief. It will be Enoki’s story, the leader of all of Dakon. It sounds really different than the other books and I can’t wait.
“My soul mate, my alien mate.”
Tired of purple alein with overly large parts. I am tired of the same thing.
Loved this book and the others in this series.
I enjoyed this book a lot!
Stormy, Alien Mate #2 Sunny’s sister, arrives on Dakon vowing to be finished with bad choices and worse men. She must do better for herself and her son, Devon. With their close family and clan ties, a alien mate seems to be a reasonable and responsible choice. Alien horned hotness is just a wonderful perk. Somehow she justifies traveling to another planet as safe as well, internet dating in real life. But like in reality, there’s always a jerk lurking and space isn’t any different.
Sunny’s kidnapper in Book #2, Romando is the classic misunderstood bad boy Stormy instantly has to have. Book #3 tends to tie up a few side characters a bit too neatly. But Bristol does throw in some interesting forks in a seemingly straight plot that lifts the book up from average. And I must admit I was glad to see Romando turn into hero. Everyone has experience with straying from straight and narrow. And women love a DIY man best.
My favorite female character remains Sunny but Intention gives me my favorite male character in Romando. However I realize if they were paired in book it would definitely stray from HEA. For me, reformed Romando is the alien I’d travel to another planet to have. Each book gives more depth to the overall background. However this book and any in the series can be read as standalone.
I’m voluntarily posting my honest review after receiving a copy of the book generously provided by the author.
I loved Book 1. This one was just ok. The characters didn’t grow as much as I’d have liked. I also thought it was a little ridiculous that the h fooled the H with her male disguise for as long as she did. But I love this world and will definitely read the next book in the series.
I didn’t think I’d like an alien story but it wasn’t bad- Different but okay
Stormy and her young son move to a new planet in search of a better life with an unknown husband. Her dreams start to unravel when she is paired with an alien who doesn’t respect her feelings or like children, instead of the handsome one she wants.
Predictable but engaging
Silly but OK!
I really liked this one. I like Sunny but she makes you want to slap her. Get over it already!!! I mean , Stormy is right, they were both wrong. He lost his chit and D should have given it back!!! Anyway ,the other two, I would have put a foot up her behind and kicked his ass!!! Anyway thanks for the memories!!. This is a good read!!!
kind of a short story or so it seemed but a really good read, its worth it
Too many lame grudges and it just wasn’t enough.
Good read
