And frankly, she wasn’t even sure that would work.

Alien Healer is part of a series, but I didn’t really have any problems settling into the story without reading any of the others. Zerconian have a longer life span than humans and Racar, a physician, is trying to find a way to extend the lives of the humans who have taken a Zerconian mate. Ellie is infatuated with the handsome physician but she’s having trouble getting him to notice her. He is too busy with his research to notice her, until she no longer comes around.
This story held my attention from start to finish. The tension is held well throughout and the story is well written. Does it offer anything new to the genre? No, not particularly, but I still enjoyed it, and will probably go back and take a look at some of the others in this series.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Ellie wants her mate to love her, she looks after him. Racar is a Zerconian healer, he is trying to find a method for humans to live as long as the Zerconians. Can these two get together.
Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

A funny story. I wanted to smack Racar so many times. He was so focused on his studies he missed what was right in front of him. I have to say that the misunderstanding of the English language by the Zerconians is hilarious. Love this series.
Alien Healer by Sadie Carter is the fifteenth book in the Zerconian Warrior series. In this book, a human woman named Ellie is trying desperately to get the attention of Racar a Zerconian Warrior healer. She has brought him food, has cleaned his clothes, and consistently checks on him while he works long hours trying to find a way to extend the life span of humans to match that of their Zerconian Warrior mates. Racar doesn’t notice that Ellie is his mate until she get sick and almost dies. This story is irreverently funny with lots of sarcasm and irony. The male character of Racar is portrayed as particularly clueless about just about everything which was really fun to read. While Ellie’s character is sweet, funny, and forgiving. This is a wonderful romantic read. Alien Healer is a sweetly humorous romance.
Although this is book 15 in this series it’s the first time, I’ve ever read anything by this author. I love alien/human romances and so I’m not sure where I’ve been to miss this author until know! I shall most definitely be searching out more of her books after reading this one. It’s not overly long to read but it is fascinating. What caught my interest was the fact that these aliens die when their mates do and so it’s important to figure out a way to make their human mates live as long as the unmated aliens do. Then there is the romance side or in this case lack of it for a good part of the book as Ellie tries to get her mate to recognize that she is there! It’s a really great read, very interesting.

I am falling in love with the Zerconian warriors but Racar and his obliviousness to what is right in front of him worked my nerves. I know he was wrapped up in finding a cure for the human mates but how could he have not at least said thank you to Ellie when she basically kept him fed and clothed. Ellie is no pushover so once she has had enough with Racar’s ungratefulness she snaps. When he finally realizes what Ellie is to him will it be too late to secure his mate? Will she believe his turnaround in how he views her? I love these Zerconian Warriors and their lack of understanding Earth/human metaphors and sarcasm. I can’t wait for this series to continue!!
This book is full of romance .unexpected Alphaness. Love the characters transformation. Will he be able to solve the problems? Will his enemies come after them? A good read.
Racar and Ellie had an interesting journey to obtain their mating bond. Ellie knew from the start that she was Racars mate. It took him a while to notice and then it was it too late? Good installment in this series.

Book fifteen in the Zerconian Warriors series a well written story with a great storyline. I want to read this complete series when it is finished. This is Racar and Ellie’s story, he is so blind to what is right in front of him. I enjoyed reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ellie believes she is Racar’s mate but he does not see her. He is so focused on his research that he thinks of nothing else. The story is about her attempts to get his attention. The characters are well done. It is easy to visualize the interactions and emotions. I liked this story.

Such a good book. I just had to stay up late to finish it. You have a Zerconian healer, Racar. who’s so involved in his research of how to make the human mates live as long as their Zerconian mates that he fails to see the perfect human in front of him. Ellie is everything that he needs but he’s blind as a bat where she is concerned. This book will make you smile, bring tears to your eyes and generally want to hit Racar for being so involved with his work. I highly recommend this book. You will want to find out if Ellie kills Racar, or if he will ever make her the most important thing in his life. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ellie just couldn’t seem to get the attention of the handsome healer. He was fully immersed in his work, to the point he would forget to eat! She was starting to think Racar was the only Zerconian warrior not interested in finding a mate.
Racar was on a special project authorized by the Emperor. He was trying to slow down the much faster human aging process. Zerconian warriors lived a long time, but if their human mate died, they died too, despite the change in the woman’s DNA that should have given them longer life. Something in the bond was blocking the changing in their aging process that would lengthen their lives. So his research was critical to the warriors and to the Emperor.
But Racar was so wrapped up in his project, that he didn’t take notice of the woman who tried to fill his every need and take care of him. Ellie was so drawn to Racar that she figured he must be hers. Yet he ignored her! When he finally speaks to her, he does feel drawn to her but still doesn’t recognize they are mates. He doesn’t understand her human facial expressions, not understanding her smile as irony rather than happiness. He couldn’t interpret her emotions and her tears which made no sense to him. Despite her bringing him food, he doesn’t even remember if he ever met her before, and he never thanked her for anything. In his awkwardness, he ends up hurting her feelings to the point that she is ready to give up on him and walk away. It isn’t until he actually touches her that he finally realizes her importance to him, and he has to race to save her life from the poison that is killing her. With Ellie no longer believing he can be her mate, will she forgive his cluelessness and let him into her heart? Is it too late for their mate bond to form?
This is the first book in this series that I have read. It didn’t pull me right in and was rather depressing. I think Ellie could have moved things along much faster if she just walked up and kicked him in the knee. Actually, she needed to get his attention and talked to him, making him aware of her presence when he obviously hadn’t been. Communication is a key factor, and we see here it matters even among aliens! I’m interested enough to read a few more from this series. But this one really didn’t grab me and hold my attention like I had hoped.
This was my first book by Sadie Cater and it was awesome! The book hooked me right from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. It’s a enjoyable romance alien story about Racar and Ellie. I loved Ellie’s sarcasm trying to get Racar to notice her. He finally see’s her and realizes she’s his mate when she walks away and stops doing things for him. There’s action, suspense, hot and steamy romance. It’s a must read for any Sadie Cater fan and I will definitely be flowing this series and this author!!!
