A feel good, well written book with a plot that was unique. Or has some heat also but you have to wait a bit for.it. Happy ending too!
This story is well written, full of suspense, action, violence, lots of twists and turns and romance.
A wonderful story
Alec is a hot single dad not looking for more than a good life for his baby daughter, Jocelyn. He has noticed Macy, the single mother of three who works at his daughter’s daycare. Not only is she supremely good with little Jossy, she’s gorgeous. When he notes the difficulty the Macy’s having with her deadbeat, belligerent ex, he’s compelled to have her back. There was such heat between these two, and a lovely meshing together of families.
Love this series!
Didn’t read all of it because of the language didn’t think that F word needed to be said as much as it was glad I didn’t pay anything for it
“Alec’s Dream” was a fascinating read. The page-turning easy-to-read plot was filled with intrigue, thrills, and lust. Moreover, the dynamic main characters, Alec and Macy, gushed with chemistry. Furthermore, the author’s use of vivid details helped to create a sympathetic yet thrilling tone. Overall, I enjoyed the narrative.
Changes for Alec as he joins the Gemini Group. Enter Macie, her children, and many issues. A journey for both and battles for both. A romance, a transformation for each, protective alpha and even more protective mama bear. Well done! Each book is a standalone but it is so much more fun when read in the series. Looking forward to the upcoming books (yes, I have devoured the earlier books as well). Bravo!!!
A very good story line, but I disliked all the cussing.
I think I like Alec the best of all the Gemini heroes so far. Maybe because he has a baby. This was a good story that maybe moved a little faster than reality given the abuse Macy has taken in her life but none the less
Riley Edwards writes the story in such a believable way you cannot help but get sucked in. And bravo for the way she wrote Caleb and Rory (love those names btw). Start the series and you won’t stop. I know Chasin’s book is next but Jonny intrigues me now more than ever.
I love books like this. I laughed, I cried, loved every minute of it.
Spoiler Alert!!!
Ugh!!! Man I wanted to kill Doug…. Douche!!!! Playing games with those kids is low.
Great book Riley Edwards!
The way you ended Weston’s Treasure…(“Where’s my daughter?”) I couldn’t wait for Alec’s Dream. I knew this was gonna be a good one and I actually did not want the book to end.
Alec and Macy both have some heavily buried secrets and hurts and in order to heal they both will need to trust the other and open up no matter how difficult it is. Loved the way he helped her to see herself, and cried when she actually “saw” him… so much in the book that I wanted to highlight. Just amazing talent.
Loved big brother Caleb and Rory is just soooo cute with her info from school. And wow! what a surprising turn in the last few chapters. Great book!

Alec and Macy, what can I say? Awesome!!
What a great story of blending a family together then adding to it.
Fantastic book
Riley Edwards never has a bad story and Alex’s Dream will take you on a wild ride. Alec and Maya will do everything possible to protect their families together from her husband.
Macy Spenser is finally rebuilding her life with her two children, her new job at the day care center and a little girl who loves snuggles. But when her ex-hubby starts threatening her children Alec Hall with make sure they are all safe especially when the bookie beats her up will she finally accept Alec’s and the Gemini Group’s protection?
Alec Hall has learned how to be a Dad to Joss with the help of his friends and a lot of trial and error. But when he sees that Macy’s ex is hurting not only her but the kids he won’t hesitate to step up and offer help. When Macy declines he knows that she’s one strong and protective mom to her family but when too many threats occur will she accept help and maybe Alec’s love?
Hard as steel Alec recently learned he’s father to a sweet baby girl named Jocelyn. Jocelyn‘s mother kept her a secret from Alec until she passed away, leaving Alec a note telling him that Jocelyn was his. Alec never imagined he would or even could be a father and have a family. It was just work all the time leaving no time for commitments. When the former member of Homeland Alec meets sweet & loving Macy, his daughter’s favorite childcare worker, he’s blown away by her beauty & adoration for his baby girl. So when she’s threatened by Doug, her no-good ex-husband, at the childcare center in front of Alec, he feels a fierce protectiveness overcome him unlike anything else he’s ever felt before and goes out of his way to make sure she’s safe.
Alec starts to pursue Macy, but as they begin to explore their relationship, the danger mounts as threats of harm are issued toward Macy’s family unless she rights Doug’s gambling debts to local loan sharks. When her home becomes the scene of a drive-by shooting, Alec brings Macy and her children to live with him and Jocelyn. After a few bumps in the road, all seems to be going well again, but Alec can’t shake the feeling in his gut that something bad will happen.
When the unthinkable does happen, the men of the Gemini group rally around their fellow brother – prepared to fight at all costs. Will Alec be able to keep his promise to Macy and her children? Or has he risked losing her and the children he’s come to love as his own forever? And can Macy put aside her fears and trust Alec with every part of her – mind, body & soul?
Only after they walk through fire together will they ever be able to fully give themselves to each other with both love and trust in one another.
Special thanks to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly & voluntarily. I will be purchasing a copy of this book as part of my forever collection as well.

Holy hotness!!!!
Alec is still trying to adapt at being a dad. Macy is divorced and has 2 kids. She works at the daycare where Alec takes his little girl.
Macy is struggling and thinks she can handle everything on her own. She doesn’t want Alec to see her this way so she keeps pushing him away. After she is beat up in front of her daughter, Alec steps in and doesn’t take no for an answer anymore.
As they forge a relationship, Alec wants them all to be together. She still tries fighting him on it. When danger comes, will Alec get there in time? Will they have the family they both want?
Every time I start reading a Riley Edward’s book, I lose time in the real world. Her words take you in her world and you are present. You are walking along Macy and she struggles to make sure she and her kids survive. You’re with Alec as he learns to let his feelings show and let Macy in. You get invested in these characters, just like you have in every previous book. You get to see the previous characters pop in when needed so it’s like family dropping in for a visit. So find a comfy place to read, grab that pot of coffee or bottle of wine, and just feel. You won’t regret it.
This is my favorite in this series so far. Love Macy. The characters are well written and you are hooked from the beginning. This is an amazing series
I enjoyed this book. Alec was the perfect mix of alpha male and sweet and caring and Macy was a strong single mom doing her best to raise decent humans. I really enjoyed the mix of suspense and romance.
I love this book and the Gemini series. Just when you think a series can’t get better, it does. This book was so moving. Macy came from an abusive marriage and she built walls greater than the Great Wall of China, but Alec came and destroyed the wall and left nothing remaining of that wall.
I have been waiting for Alec’s story for ever and was not disappointed…..
Macy is a single mom who is struggling and tired of dealing with the punches life keeps sending way but she is a strong person who is willing to be as strong as she needs to keep her kids from seeing the bad in the world especially from those who they should never have to fear.
Alec was thrown in to parenthood so unexpectedly he didn’t know which way was up and which way was down but like the ALPHA he is he takes control of the situation and loves his daughter beyond measure…
He has had a thing for Macy but figured is life was so unpredictable he wasnt going to persu her untill he sees the danger she faces almost daily. Then all bests are off and he is going to make sure her and her children are safe and wrapped in his arms for eternity….. that is if she will give into him and not fight him at every turn. Macy and Alec are meant for each other and once they both stop fighting they move heaven and earth for each other and their children. This book has it all…… Stubbornness, fights, tears love. Alpha men and sweet little kids. Riley knocked it out of the park with this one….
