When the ones who are supposed to love and protect are the ones who—kill you, you tend to be a little jaded. Akra won’t let a little thing like death keep her down, much, except Hell is a long way down.AKRA—A rare creature of myth and power… Thousands of years couldn’t dull the pain but it definitely sharpened Akra’s battle skills. Until she’s betrayed once again and given a new life, void of the strength she once possessed as a demoness. But when fate grants her the revenge she’s been waiting an eternity to achieve, is it simply a darker destiny set in motion from the past?
BALKY—Half brother to Zeus…
Cursed from the moment he’d been created, his true origins hidden behind a hideous veneer, he did what he had to survive. Balthazar knows all about evil, inside and out as he’s forced to do his master’s bidding, controlling the beast within himself lest he becomes the monster he loathes. Until he sees a being worthy of saving, sacrificing a part of himself, knowing it would likely cost his very soul.
ICHIROU—A former demon-possessed Grim Reaper…
Locked inside his own mind, Ichirou spent his entire life possessed by a demon who only allowed him slivers of clarity. The moment a being who willing gave a piece of himself to save him, Ichirou was freed from the demon, bonding with the man who thought he was irredeemable. Together they form a blood brother bond that’s shaken to their core by one crazy female—Akra.
Viscerally, Akra is the perfect female… Except she’s a demoness. A being they both loathe. However, neither man can deny she awakens something deep within them, a primal part that had been dormant and shows no sign of going away. Akra is unlike anyone they’ve ever encountered and soon they realize she is their Fated.
Can Balky with the blood of Zeus running through him, and Ichirou with the knowledge of his demon, save Akra from an old enemy and find happiness, or will history repeat itself?

more
Akra’s been a constant figure in the Ravens of War series and I’m glad we finally get her story.
Akra is one tough cookie and she keeps coming back for more. Even though she is a demoness you can see the caring and heart she has for those around her. She will protect those she cares for to the death if need be. I loved the relationship she had with her sisters. They have a mouth on them and some of their sayings were quite funny!
This book was very fast paced which was good for most of the book. I did find in certain parts I had to slow down and reread something because at times there was a lot going on and a lot of people involved. You wanted to reread it because you just knew that what was going on was important.
This was a great addition to this series and I hope we get more.
This book is completely, absolutely amazing.
Mrs. Boon outdone herself with this one.
You get to know Akra before she become demoness and what she got through to be the person she is now.
You just have to read this book.
OMG!!!! This is the best one in the series!!! I flew through it. We get to see Akra get her men and well I won’t spoil the surprize!!! Another great story!
Romantic Twisting Mythology
Akra is the epitome of a BFF, real or not, this chick is seriously devoted to whomever she calls friend, and has the power to protect them. This journey tells how Akra even came into being all those thousands of years ago. The family who betrayed her, both wittingly and unwittingly, will make you want to put the hurt on, surprisingly, to some very familiar and beloved characters. What? Yeah, that was my reaction too. This is a who’s who of bloodlines.
All the emotions come out to play throughout the entire read, never a dull moment it seems, and with all the superowers it makes for some very interesting and sparkish battles.
Balky and Ich most assuredly have their hands full with Akra, and guess what? Um yeah, all the pain and the suffering and even death was a very necessary journey in order that Akra could truly be Balky and Ich’s Fated. Convoluted? Oh, yeah!!
This is 5th in the series and gets more intriguing as the Battle for Olympus continues. There are more Ravens, more shifters and new characters who need their stories told also.
I enjoyed reading Akra’s Demons and am totally glad this is fictional, well, except for the hot demigods, the special powers of the gods, their infinite lives lol, okay, the hellboys I could do without, but everything else is #goddessgoodness.
Oh, and there are some new #babygodnuggets in the house of Zeus, with amazingly strong powers already. I do hope the saga continues
Great read
Hello…holy hotness party of 3! Balky and Ichirou and super yummy. Balky is really huge with purple swirling eyes. Ichirou is 6 feet of sweet hotness which screams dragon. Then there’s the best female evah Akra. She’s a warrior goddess in more ways than one but she’s a changin. She is sooo kickass. I loved her when I met her in previous books. Y’all I cant get over how much I love this series. Y’all need to read it. I’m not sure why not many peeps have read it but your missing out. I adored it. I want her so much to continue to write these books. So get ya ass to the store and pick this series up!
This book definitely kept me glued to my Kindle!! Akra finally gets her own book and it was well worth the wait. I loved how the story between Akra, Balky and Ichirou plays out. Will they be able to move on with the demoness or will their pasts come back to wreak havoc with their future? Will formidable enemies be able to tear the trio apart?
This is the fifth book in the Ravens of War Series and I’m really hoping that it’s not the last … even though it seems to be the last for now. You definitely will need/want to read the previous books in this series to truly understand what’s happening.
Akra’s journey.. her story was mesmerizing. I’ve been waiting to find out more about Akra; what her beginning was and Elle Boon did not disappoint! The amount of details and layers, the friendships, the backstory, all the chemistry (seriously WOWZA) Akra, Balky and Ichirou were just everything! &&& all the fast paced action, twists & turns will leave you breathless. I could not put this book down! Seriously, SO GOOD!

If I could give this book a hundred stars I would. We’ve met Akra in the other books in the series. I was very happy to see this great character get heer story. Love that she is a total badass. But will defend those she loves, she may be a demoness but she has heart. Excellent book.
I see a lot of the author in the demoness, Akra. She is fiesty, takes no prisoners, has a huge protectiveness over those she loves, and has a huge heart. She needed not just one but two “other” beings to be her mates. Balky for sure is a worthy mate and since Ich has a part of Balky in him, it makes sense he would be hers together. I loved this book. We get to learn more about Akra and how she came to be. Not to mention that Zeus is in the book a lot! I love Zeus so much. If Hera was out of the picture, the big guy would be mine I tell you!!!! I hope we get more of this series sometime soon. There are a few questioned unanswered and three wolves that need a mate. More please!!!
An emotional journey worthy of the Gods
Akra, leader of the demoness tribe, feels unworthy of Balky and Ichirou, both with demons of their own. As the story progresses betrayal is the theme, hidden mysteries abound, and not all paths traveled lead to happiness. Elle Boon’s Akra’s Demons is an emotional journey worthy of the Gods. This is the first Ravens of War book I have read and now I’m going to have to go and buy the rest of them to catch up on some of the other romances, even though it is not necessary to enjoy this book.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
While Akra has been a constant figure in the Ravens of War series, she finally gets her own HEA. She has truly been thru hell and came out on top. The twists and turns with-in this story will keep you glued as Akra, Balky and Ichirou’s work towards their HEA. With the fast pace and all the action in the story, you may need to reread parts of the book, also this book will want to be reread.
I truly enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the next book the author publishes in any of her series. Enjoy the read.
Another great read in the Raven’s of War series
Oh my what lives these main characters have lived, such terrible things they have endured and what a twist towards the end – I wasn’t expecting that.
Nice to see another side of characters from the previous books, especially Zeus and his grand-nuggets – they will keep him on his toes.
Loads of adorable little phrases that just endear Akra to you
Hope there are more in this series
Akra’s Demons is the fifth book.in Elle Boon’s Ravens of War Series. Akra’s Demons, picks up where Kira’s Warriors leaves off, with Akra, leaving Mt. Olympus and Balky and Ichirou chasing after her. When starting this book, I had certain expectations of what the story would be, alpha male heroes and sassy female heroines, but this book was so much more. The twists and turns in the story were unexpected and kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. This is a definite read to be the next on your To Be Read list.
This book was Heartbreakingly beautiful and happy. I was absolutely captivated by this book. I’ve read each one in the series and this one is hands down my favorite. Akra is was a demon who is now mostly human but has a little bit of God powers. Did that confuse you yeah imagine being her. After being attacked by a goddess she’s hurt and doesn’t understand so she leaves Olympus. Balky was trapped for centuries in a body that wasn’t his own so when he sees Ichirou being possessed by another demon he steps into help. Then they are gone to find their fates mate only she’s not where she is supposed to be. Can these three heal the wounds of the past? Akra is in need of answers can they help her and keep her safe? When the demons of the past come back can these three hold strong? Will poor Zues ever learn to knock? I absolutely loved this book and I truly hope she continues with the series.
After a run in with a an angry Goddess Akra runs from everyone she knows. The two men who are destined to be her mates are beside themselves when they can no longer track her. Balky and Ichirou have suffered more than any being should yet their feelings for the demoness are without limits. Will the three of them be able to move past the horrible things they have lived through to forge a bond together or will hidden things in the past, and a formidable enemy, tear them apart before they can even begin? I really enjoyed this book as I have all the books in this series.
Out of all 5 books in this series, I think this one is my favorite. We’ve seen Akra in previous stories but now she gets her own book. The twists and turns will keep you glued to this as Akra, Balky and Ichirou’s story plays out. I can’t stress enough how much I loved this book and if you love paranormal, you should read every book in this series. Go ahead, run and get this book!!
Akra’s been through hell, literally. Balky and Ich have also suffered more than their fair share. These three blew me away. The compassion they show one another, the strength they all have, and that the retained their ability to love.
Akra’s has been one of my favorites through out this series, and getting to see her story come to life left me in awe.
One wild ride. Akra has lived for 15,000 years, but as different beings. She finds herself in Olympus and is still lost. She can’t trust herself. The banter in this book is awesome and hilarious (as with other of Ms. Boon’s books), truly entertaining. Balky and Ichirou are her mates, and they’ve just realized that Akra is now gone and they don’t know where she went. There are lots of intricacies in this story and I had no issues following the trail that Ms. Boon provides. Twists and turns galore, which kept me as the reader on my toes. Highly entertaining, great story, great characters and a great overall read. Well worth the read. I do recommend this book and any of Ms. Boon’s series, she is a one-click author for me.
I received this advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review.
WOW!!! This story is so captivating and incredible. Akra has literally gone through hell but boy is she amazing. I love that we get to see into her past and what made her a demoness. As for Balky and Ichirou, holy cow those two are hot enough to make you swoon. All the ravens of war stories are amazing but I think like fine wine, this series just keeps getting more and more amazing with each new story that Ms Elle Boon writes.
