The book is engaging, especially because of the expert technical knowledge about aviation that’s woven through the story.
Loved this book. Read I one day. It was a little like a roller case ride with the biggest downhill thrill at the end. It was definitely keeping you on the edge of your seat. The only reason I didn’t give it a five is that there are a few areas where it seemed like it started to move to slow.
Overall a self impressed male ego sex book with a reasonable plot line.
Kept my interest the whole way. Didn’t want to put it down.
I could not put this down and read it in less than 24 hrs!
I couldn’t put this book down! The characters were so likeable…the plot was engaging and scary…first book I have read by this author, but he is a new favourite !
This is not your typical “hijacked” book. There are interesting plot twists, character details and technical details that are often glossed over. Yet the action and pace is quick.
Learned a great deal about aircraft and the engineering that it takes to build one for commercial use. Great story and a real page turner.
very true to life in our modern world. quick read and well worth it. acts of terrorism from radicals is not fiction, but an unfortunate reality. well worth the read.
Great read ,fast and entertaining…
I really enjoyed this fast paced book that really kept my attention. The only problem was that I couldn’t put it down to go to sleep.
You might not want to fly again after this
Absolutely spellbinding! I couldn’t put it down.
Great book………
Can’t put it down.
One of the best books I have read in a long long time. Had a hard time putting the book down. Just had to read one more page.
A riveting experience…
A thriller of sorts that keeps you (and the passengers) suspended in anticipation of what is to come. The characters and their background are woven together in such a way as to connect all the dots in this intriguing plot – probably every traveler’s worst nightmare who has ever flown. What heightens the event are the personal stories leading up to the flight and the interaction of certain characters on board. I am not an aerodynamic expert to know how possible it is for this event to take place as described or for the plane to remain air born but what I do know is that it was one heck of a ride if you can just go with the flow.
Of course, matters do get out of hand since people do act erratically under certain circumstances. You can expect some violence and unpleasantness which is par for the course and finally some uplifting conclusions – definitely a thrilling and satisfying read.
Did not finish. I was in the industry for over 25 years and the book did not feel authentic and didn’t flow the way I prefer. I quit after a few chapters so those readers who continue may find this book more to their liking.
Beginning and ending pretty meh. Middle was good.
Oh my gosh! Such a great book! This should be a movie.
