This is a action-packed book with interesting information about the airline industry!
OMG. I read this just before the Boeing fiasco and talk about Deja Vu!
Very disappointing. Was looking forward to some real action. Way too much detail on aircraft.
What’s not to like about Micheal C? He’s a genius. I like every one of his books.
A scary book but very realistic and very informative
Interesting. Very technical but realistic about the politics that go on behind the scenes. Female character is refreshing. She exhibits strength of character and intelligence. No male is needed to come to the rescue and save the day.
Great book and I learned about the airplane building industry too
I actually read this book several years ago. I don’t have it anymore. So I bought the digital ebook this time to reread and enjoy again.
Kind of boring and some of the characters were not needed.
Not Crichton’s best work
Scares me to think about flying again!
Awesome…..pertinent to recent air crashes…..
A very timely read given what is happening now with the recent plan crashes. Sometimes the tech stuff can get difficult to understand. However the charters are believable, has always there are the good guys and bad guys. Not a bad book but definitely not one of his great books.
Of all the novels Michael Crichton’s written, and I love most of them, this is my very favorite! I moved and lost it. So sad.
Really engaging story by Mr. Crichton with regard to both the technology involved with modern aircraft with all the accompanying jargon and acronyms, and the people involved in management of a large corporation as well as the personalities and slants behind TV news.
Not sure I believe the way labor unions are demonized but otherwise a real page …
Awesome. Just go for it!
Tightly written thriller!
Michael Crichton delivers in Airframe, a thriller taking the reader deep inside the complexities, politics, and opportunism existing inside the complex world of commercial jet manufacturing.
The prose is simple, yet effective. Dialogue is good. Story arc suspenseful. Character development well drawn, but if you’re …
I was going to give this book one less star, until the unexpected closure in the last 5pgs. That was so surprising and I should of seen it coming. Was still a little dry on info. Could have used little more story-line in my opinion.
Good one, very entertaining. I found this book particularly enjoyable since I was once an aircraft engineer.
The ending might have been too Predictable the progress was delightf
