Quinn Taleisin hates secrets, and shadows, and subterfuge. Which is why she still can’t believe she agreed to become a member of the Guardians, an elite force of immortals tasked with keeping the balance between good and evil in the world. Sounds great, except, to be a guardian you must agree to live in secrecy. Quinn is a wind elemental. Being caged in by secrecy is worse than death for someone … for someone like her. She can’t imagine a worse fate—until she’s asked to work with Lachon Findel, the man she holds responsible for her mother’s death and her father’s insanity.
Lachon is the oldest living elemental in the world. Known as Lachon the Law, he’s an earth element; a man who sees the world in black and white, right and wrong. So maybe once, briefly, a hundred years ago she thought he was a good guy. She knew better now. No way would she fall for his savior of the world shtick.
When the dangers of the past catch up with them, Quinn realizes the only way either of them will make it out alive is if she can put the ghosts of the past behind her and finally trust the flesh and blood man in front of her.

‘Air Born’ is an engaging and spirited read that keeps readers hanging on the edge of their seat. The spunky and electrical relationship between Quinn & Lachon keeps readers chuckling with every smart mouthed quip and shaking their heads as they wonder if these two will ever get it right. Lots of sizzling chemistry, energy, passion and turbulent emotions flow these strong, vivid characters which makes it easy for the readers to feel as if they know them personally.
Lots of adrenaline pumping action and thrilling suspense fill the pages of this fast paced plot and Quinn and Lachon take on the darkness, try to come to terms with their pasts in their hair raising journey to catch the malevolent being. Warning, be prepared to experience a high level of adrenaline, shed a few tears and be struck mute by a couple of stunning twists and turns throughout this energetic read.
The third book in the Guardians series a well written book that I was not putting down until I had finished reading this book. Somehow I missed reading the second book but I will be reading that soon. enjoyed reading Quinn and Lachon’s story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Quinn and Lochan’s story! Romance and magic; what a wonderful combination!
There is an evil warlock killing humans and immortals and it’s up to Lochan and Quinn to catch him. Lochan is the oldest elemental and the Law for their people. Quinn is a wind elemental and used to work for Lochan until she drugged him and stole from his office to help her family. She blames him for her mother’s death and hates him for it, but as their adventures continue, she gets to see the real Lochan, the Lochan that is more than just the Law.
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
This is a new author to me and I will be reading more by her. OK, I was a little confused in the beginning because the characters had already established relationships being the third book in the series. This story revolves around Quinn and Lachon as the main characters. Their chemistry is explosive even when they hate each other but when they move on to an “arrangement” it’s on fire!! Quinn has been keeping secrets from Lachon and when they inhibit their investigation she comes clean. But will it be too little, too late? I am going to go back and read the first two books in the series just to see how the relationships develop. I can’t wait for the next installment of the series!
Air Born is book three in The Guardians. I experienced every emotion imaginable while reading this book. It is packed with action, adventure, passion, and yes even some steamy sex scenes. There are twists and turns that will keep you wanting more.
This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

Another wonderful story in the series. Love the world of the guardians, with their strong characters and sensual romance.
Well this is Quinn’s story and what a story it is. In the previous books there is mention of Quinn and Lachon who have a history. Well now we know all of that history. We learn their secrets and explore the possibility of love. So when trouble comes knocking on Quinn’s door she has to team up with Lachon. This could be explosive in a good way or bad. While they are on this mission to find the evil darkness, a bargain is struck. Oh boy can you imagine what this bargain is. The limits are tested and danger lurks around everywhere. There is loss and emotional turmoil through out. This book was more about emotions and the impact it has on the characters. The story jumps right into the mix of everything. It was a great book.
***This is an advanced reader’s copy***
Quinn Taleisin despises Lachon the Law, but when she agreed to become a Guardian she had no idea her first job would necessitate working with the man. Lachon is the son of Gaia, and much mor powerful than the community of Elementals realize, but his feelings for the beautiful woman that he must work with to save both humans, and the paranormal communities, weakens his resolve to keep Quinn at arms length.
Sexy, unique, and complicated characters with a past that won’t be easy to overcome if they want a future together. Action, magical battles, vampires, a dead wizard who has a pact with the devil, and an agenda, with plenty of surprising twists in the plot make this a must read paranormal romance. Fantastic book.
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.
Air Born by Rayanne Haines is an amazing story that I have had the privilege to read and fell in love with. This is book number three in this amazing series writen by an author I never read till now. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading stories about paranormal romances in their stories.

I’m running out of good words about this series and this author. I wanted a book about Lachon from the first time I met him, and bringing in Quinn just sweetened the deal for me. I knew that I was going to want to dig into Lachon – and so many questions about him and his actions that we learned in past books, we finally get the answers. And a few of the answers may surprise the reader.
You could get away with reading this as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the first two books in the series first – so the reader will learn about this world and the established relationships, and more about our two main characters here. Two people that can’t stand each other are thrown together and the secrets are going to come out. They will need to get over their prejudices and trust each other to live through the danger they are facing. Keep writing Ms. Haines, I’m already having withdrawal symptoms.
