I’m always ready to read a Green Mountain Series book by Marie. This one was no different. This is the type of book that causes you to be so involved with the storyline and characters that you don’t realize how much time has passed by you. I can read this book and pretend that I am in that quaint Vermont town. I love the “mini” stores inside of the main story. Those “mini” stories keep us informed of other characters’ feelings and life. I must say that Charley is not my favorite female character. I think it’s because her views and mine on relationships and children are a tad different. I had a hard time getting into her head. Now Tyler is a different story all together. This is the ultimate man that you would want your daughter to snag. Thank goodness that he doesn’t give up on the stubbornness that surrounds Charley. His character is what I found the most likable in this book. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Green Mountain book without Fred, the moose. I also love Elmer and Linc’s meddling. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. Just a great family series that you will fall in love with.
I enjoyed the book. Charlie and Tyler are great together. Tyler is every woman’s dream. I have two problems with the book – one there is just too much graphic sex and two Charlie’s reaction to her old flame is just over the top, and I don’t think it works with her character.
Love to continue a book with characters that feel so real. Marie Force builds families that I love to follow in her stories . Unforgettable characters and stories that leave you wantin more!
Love all Marie Force books
Tyler has totally stolen my heart, and I don’t want it back.
This series is incredible and it keeps getting better and better by the book.
Charlie and Tyler were so perfect together. They connected so beautifully, even if Charley fought so hard to deny it. And as we got to know her even better, it was totally understandable. She wasn’t being difficult to Tyler just for a whim. She was guarding her surprinsingly vulnerable heart.
Most people might think Charlie was a difficult person. But she was way deeper and more complex than that. Truth is, we are fast on idolizing a man that is determined and independent, but we are faster to judge a woman that acts the same way.
Charley was a strong person, and it’s as simple as that. She was funny, witty, sharp with her tongue and driven. She was also caring, nurturing, loyal and oh so vulnerable inside all that bluster.
She was beautifully built and relatable.
Tyler was his own kind of perfection. He was sofisticated and incredibly smart, he was driven and succesfull. And normally that comes as a result of a ruthless and reckless personality. But just like Charley was a wonderful contradiction, he was also an amazing surprise.
Tyler was adorable, nurturing and so devoted. He was patient, trustworthy and I felt as if he could pacify all the ruckus around them. He had this calm within him, this way of dealing with things and people that made them feel safe. And Charlie wasn’t imune to that.
At the same time he left her unease with feelings she wasn’t ready to aknowledge, he also placated and gained the trust of her wary heart.
They were electrical and explosive in their peace and quiet, and they were also peaceful and cozy during their storm. They respected each other, they fed their banter, they were free to be their real selves from the very beginning.
I’m utterly addicted and deeply in love with both of them.
And I want more, oh so much more.
I have a new book boyfriend and his name is Tyler Westcott!
AIN’T SHE SWEET was a labor of love to read. Charley is a spit-fire and VERY adamant about not getting serious with anyone, including the ever-annoying Tyler. Fate, however, has different plans for Charley. When she has an accident during a cold morning run and is laid up for several weeks to heal, Tyler suggests he be charged with Charley’s care. He feels responsible for Charley’s accident by challenging her to a run in less than ideal conditions, but also looks at this as a prime opportunity to win Charley’s heart.
Tyler knows he’s facing an uphill battle when it comes to Charley. But Tyler sees that under Charley’s tough exterior and sharp tongue, hides the heart of a strong, courageous and loving woman. A woman that Tyler wants in his life, permanently. As always, Charley never surrenders and it will take a hope, a wing and lots of prayers to capture the heart of this prickly, stubborn-as-a-mule woman.
I loved the story but Charley was an exercise in patience. She was mean, surly (more mean), and just wouldn’t budge or melt as Tyler cared for and doted mercilessly on her. I swear I’ve never read a more stubborn, jerk of a heroine and I had to put the book down several times just to get away from her. She really put Tyler through the ringer.
Now Tyler, oooooo wheee! He is smart, goofy, sexy and has a frickin’ heart of gold! And I think he should be awarded sainthood for all the stuff he put up with in dealing with Charley. If she doesn’t want him, I’ll take him! He reminds me a lot of Noah from I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND. Tyler wanted everything with Charley but accepted what she could give him at the time. It’s almost fictitious to read a character like Tyler. Why would he go through all this and wait all this time for a woman who doesn’t want him?
My best friend was in exactly the same position Tyler was in. He met the woman of his dreams, but she had a lot of hang-ups and a lot of baggage. My friend KNEW that she was the one for him and so he waited and waited. He became her friend, confidant, lover, sounding board, whatever she needed…until she was ready to accept the love, support and everything my friend had to offer her. They recently celebrated their one-year anniversary and are so happy together.
When the RIGHT woman (or man) comes along, they will be worth the wait, sleepless nights and heartaches. I can’t speak for myself, but I know it happened with Tyler and Charley and it definitely happened in real life with my friend and his wife.
The story also has plenty of the Abbotts as well as a wedding and a few surprises. As with all the Green Mountain books, they are well-written, heart-warming, laugh-out-loud funny and have me wanting more!
I received an early copy of the book and read it a while back. I had written the review but when I went back to find it for the release day, it was just…gone. Disappeared without a trace. So I ended up having to re-write the review. And I’m glad I had to, otherwise I wouldn’t have remembered the real life Charley and Tyler I know. I wouldn’t have believed their happily ever after if I wasn’t there to witness it myself.
AIN’T SHE SWEET is a lovely read that will have you believing that anything is possible. All of the Green Mountain books are magical and have the one constant that every wonderful story needs: Love. I highly recommend this and every book by Marie Force.
***I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book in 2016 in exchange for an honest review***

Sweet story. Enjoyed this read. Romance and steam combine to make a sweet story. Easy vacation read.
Love this author and this series!
I love this series and author.
1. I want to live in Butler VT. 2. Will Abbott is my new book boyfriend. 3. I cannot wait to read Hannah’s story. Marie Force has dropped enough hints to let us know what’s next for the Abbots.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Really liked this book and love the author.
I loved it! Marie is one of my favorite authors & i know when order one of her books there will be a delightful read! This series for me is such a page turner! A few tears, just enough laughter & just enough “steamy sex”! The continuing storyline is one of my favorites. Actuallu have not bought a “stand alone story” in years!
The characters didn’t really do it for me. The lead guy’s interest came off more as creepy at times than sweet. The lead female was burned by an ex and swore she’d never love again. When we finally learn what the ex did it just didn’t feel big enough to swear off love forever. I typically love this author but this one wasn’t for me.
I love Marie Force – she is a very talented author – but this one I could not even finish. I did not care for the female character and found the book lacked conflict or action. so finally boredom set in. but that is absolutely not typical of her other books so this review should not be taken as representative of any of her other writings.
This book could have been a lot shorter. I got 3/4 of the way through and I threw in the towel. I didn’t care how it turned out.
This surprised me because I have really enjoyed other books by this author.
Love all her books.
Never disappointed/
I love that this book is part of a series and that the characters are woven together in an interesting and compelling manner. This is a feel good book that I highly recommend.
