The Brook Ridge Falls Retirement Center is still reeling over the death of one of their own when Lexy and her senior detective friends are asked to investigate another murder. Muriel Maguire insists that her grandson, Henry, has been framed for the murder of his wife, but the clues all point to Henry, and the police already have him in custody. The suspect list is long, including members of the … members of the victim’s family who have a very unusual and suspicious profession. Too bad the husband had motive and his alibi is flimsy. Is he guilty, or is he being framed?
When the investigation leads them to a mysterious woman, the case takes a curious twist, and a contact inside the prison reveals stunning information that turns the case on its head. Plus, there is one odd clue the police have overlooked—a corn muffin.

Cute
I love Lexy and her gang of sleuths. A great read with lots of laughs and a wonderful mystery.
Great read
Very Cute
Too cutesy, corny, unnecessary words like she was trying to make it longer. Won’t be reading any others of her. Read a different one a year ago and didn’t like it ether
Leighann Dobbs continues to entertain with her stories of the elderly snoops and a niece who tries to keep them safe during their investigations.
I couldn’t get into this book.
Did not draw me into the story. I lost interest in reading this.
Fun, easy reading with a great bunch of characters, although I always find myself craving pastries after reading one of these mysteries!
Wonderful, fun read!
Cozy mystery
An enjoyable beach read.
An entertaining light hearted cozy mystery. Loved the “senior” detectives and their antics.
a cute cozy with fun characters and enough action to keep me reading – I have enjoyed several in the series.
I’ve read several in this series and all are thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this book as well as all others in the series.
I enjoyed reading this installment of the continuing story line
I thought certain phrases were used too often to just add pages to the book. Drab
Hilarious cosy mystery
Lexy, her grandmother, and the friends are all interested in solving a case where Henry has been convicted of murdering his wife. The clue to the real murderer is a muffin!
The story was funny in parts as all the characters are trying to solve the murder admist their own personal lives. The way they get together to solve the murder is hilarious and enjoyable. Liked it.
Love the older ladies, comical at times.
Ain’t Seen Muffin Yet is Book 15 in the Lexy Baker Cozy Mystery Series. I have read every book and I absolutely LOVE this series. This is one of the best culinary cozy mysteries out there.
Lexy is catering an activity at the nursing home . That’s where the action begins.
Nan and her friends now have an official group, “The Ladies Detective Agency” and they are approached to help someone using their unique skills.
I swear the writing in this series gets better and better! The characters are so fun and its so refreshing to read older sleuths that are as sharp as the young ones.
The mystery is multi-dimensional with complex, fleshed out characters.
It is worth the wait for the books in this series because they are so good!!!!
