Quick note – you’ll find that this story is pretty sweet. Tilly comes home one night and gets told that her entire life is about to change. Her mom gives her a new uniform for a fancy private school and tells her that she’ll be coming home to someplace new when she starts on Monday. Tilly tried to get her head around everything, but when the impossibly hot guy she sits next to in science decides … sits next to in science decides to knock into her so that she spills juice all down her new blouse, she realizes that even if she tries, she’ll never fit in.
When Tilly’s mother gets married, her stepbrother decides to pull a prank to end all pranks, but he doesn’t know that Tilly is still in the woods where he had just sent hundreds of fireworks on their path of destruction. The night ends in painful screams, but will he be able to make up for what he has done and will Tilly ever get over the scars that the night has left on her?

What will happen with James and Sam? What will happen to the injured person?
I liked this book. I could not put this book down once I started reading it. I loved the characters. The story line was a little twisted. But all in all it was good. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I recommend this book to others.
Hot and sexy! Love this storyline and characters that draw you into their world. Tilly feels left out and abandoned when her mother decides to remarry without even letting her know she was interested in someone. And now she’ll go to a new school and she’ll have a stepbrother.
This book kind of reminds me of the movie Cruel Intentions, with the peer pressure. It had a happy ending. However it seemed short and left much to be desired on character building.

In this book we meet Tilly and Jared. Tilly is told all of the sudden that her mom has been seeing someone for awhile now. She is also told she is going to be changing schools that next Monday, just 2 days away. Tilly knows she will be the odd girl out since she is starting in the middle of her senior year what she didn’t expect was all the hostility. Jared can’t stand school most of the time but when he comes to science class and the new girls sits next to him. He knows it will be trouble though from the first moment. When things go from bad to worse he doesn’t know who to fix things. Can these two find a HEA or will first impressions make that impossible for both of them?
This is a great short story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Unexpectedly thrust together when their parents decide to marry, the rich kid and the poor girl become siblings. Can the hero overcome the pressure of his peers and treat the heroine the way she deserves?
This was a surprisingly sweet and romantic book. It shows the dangerous balance of trying to fit in and being true to yourself. I thought it was very well written and very easy to read. The characters were well developed and I could feel their emotional struggle. Overall it was a very enjoyable story by a new author (to me, that is).
Highly recommended.

Tilly’s life was good up until her mother told her that they were moving. Tilly didn’t like the idea of moving away and leaving her friends and school behide. When Tilly first meant James, James did something to her that she couldn’t believe. This was a short read. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. Quick read and quite entertaining! Tilly’s world changes as her mother is suddenly engaged and decides to move them in with her fiance and his son. Changes include a new school, a new home and new family that have Tilly feeling out of sorts but willing to give this new world a chance. She meets her soon-to-be stepbrother James at her new school. Finding him to be snooty when he plays a mean trick on her in the cafeteria, he later works to redeem himself in her eyes. After falling for her, he tries to work on improving his qualities and hopes to gain her friendship and later if lucky her love. In turn, she develops feelings for James. Certain act of cruelty develops, and an accident might enable Tilly and James a chance at love.

This book was awful. I normally love step siblings romances. I liked Tilly but thats about it. Things happened way to fast. Felt like the book had no true character. Like they are dating and in school and then bam he bought her a house. Like why did his dad give him money like that it was out of nowhere. This book was truly awful. Sam was a terrible character and the way he acted was was awful. I just hated the book. There was no real character to the book to be honest it didn’t feel like it had a plot at all just a conflict and ending.

Sometimes, first reactions are wrongly interpreted and events are not as they seem. Beautiful characters and twists and turns that keep you engaged and wanting to know what happens next. Great read.

quick read into the taboo world of steps becoming lovers with the real sad twist of what damage peer pressure can cause. The characters are believable with real life situations that bring their true selves front and center. Tilly and James’ lives are turned upsides down when their parents announce their upcoming marriage out of the blue. James is rich and has snobby friends while Tilly is from the other side of the tracks, so to speak. One look at her and James is stunned by her natural beauty but his friends and classmates have a different outlook on Tilly, she’s poor and doesn’t belong. When a prank gets out of hand and Tilly is severely injured the guilt eating at James has him wanting to confess everything and admit his true feelings and everything else be damned. Will Tilly forgive James for the hell her and his friends out her through??? A great story that reminds us not to judge a book by its cover and the real story lies within.

James and Tilly hated each other when they were first thrown together by their parents getting married. After Tilly’s accident, they started getting close to each other. After all the drama clears they have a happy ending.

This story is a bit misleading, at least the title is. When I first read the title I thought it was going to be one of those kinky, seriously taboo stories with lots of unnecessary sex in it. I was pleasantly surprised though. The story is about a boy and girl who meet during the second half of their senior year of high school when their parents decide to get married. The story takes about 1 1/2 years total from start to finish, so it’s not really that taboo at all. Aside from their parents being married to one another for a bit of the story, it’s just like any other romance about a boy and girl who meet and fall in love. Decent read.
ONE DELIGHTFUL TALE!!!
Oh man, talk about starting off on the wrong foot. All the drama, fear, uncertainty, pain and suspense make for one enjoyable experience. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner really draw you in. Nicky did a great job bringing this read to life. Thanks Nicky for sharing this little guy with us.
A guy teasing a girl in the only way boys know how till he takes it beyond okay. She is new both to the school and the home. He is her stepbrother. Lots of interaction, emotions, lessons and so much more. I recieved a copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Wow! Beautiful story. The family dynamics was pretty crazy. The twist and turns gave it an edge. The storyline was spot on and the emoition the characters went through was heartwarming. Great read.

Between the erotica genre tag, the taboo topic, and the title, I expected something way different than what this story delivers. This is a romance between step-siblings, and despite the taboo nature, the romance was really sweet. The title is the A**hole Stepbrother. He wasn’t exactly friendly in the beginning and he made some regrettable choices, but I didn’t see anything that made me think of him as an a**hole. With this being an erotica, I expected a lot of steamy scenes (or at least a few since it’s short), but there was only one scene where things were heated and it was near the end of the book and still relatively mild. If this was listed under a different genre with a more appropriate title, then I would give it a higher rating because this was a really enjoyable short story. It just doesn’t fit the title and the genre.
