Ahab’s Daughter is the rollicking first novel in The Werewhale Saga, a series of fantasy adventures. If you like tenacious heroines, supernatural twists, and high seas suspense, then you’ll love Ron Vitale’s entertaining follow-up to Herman Melville’s literary classic.

Is the family cursed?
Have you ever wondered if Captain Ahab had a family and what happened to them?
Read this author’s delightful tale of a bold daughter who follows her brother to the sea after their father disappears, and their mother is in despair.
The daughter enlists the aid of a sailor who managed to escape the watery grave that her father met. However, all is not as it seems.
Carma, who would have thought it involved supernatural beings!
I received a free ARC and never expected the twists and turns that are put forward in this book.
Really different. Totally unexpected. This is not just a re-telling of Moby Dick. This story was surprising and when Morgan gets Ishmael to take her to the Island (that everyone thinks has treasure) to find her brother, Moby Dick is not the only thing they encounter. What they find is something worse and more powerful. I can’t say more because I don’t want to ruin this but it involves, moving islands, were-creatures, and sea gods. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Werewhale Fantasy Thriller about, you guessed it Ahab’s daughter. Ahab’s son goes off to sea because he feels drawn to it like his father and he has a knack for and he wants to find out what happened to his father as well as he learns fast. Nathan is on a whaling boat headed for the Island of Nerves, but his friend Zeke has told him plenty of stories and the fact that he was on the island as a child but he fell to tell Nathan his secret. Things start to happen on the ship and Nathan sees some things he cannot believe and even though he knows that one of his mates knows it to be true he says that he didn’t see anything. Nathan tries to tell Zeke what he saw but Zeke makes him keep quiet until they know for sure or he could start a ship mutiny, so he lets it go. His other twin finds and gets Ismael to help, he is the man who was on the ship and the Island with their father he agrees to go and find her brother and bring him back. But refuses to take Morgan for the obvious reasons but Morgan is having none of it but lets him go off thinking that he was in control and then made a deal with his friend to be on the same ship. From then on there is so much madness and mayhem on both ships. The storyline is unusual but interesting and well as the suspense thriller keeps you on edge. Book I of Series. I was given a copy as a gift from the author without obligations. I am providing an honest review.
