I enjoyed light reading and entertaining! The story was believable.
I only read 40% of this book. It was silly and unrealistic.
Very poor premise…badly written
My only real complaint about this book was the editing. Leaving out little word such as “be,” or “not” can alter a story! There were also some misspelled words and that shouldn’t be in a published book! I did enjoy the asides the main character makes to herself-laughed out loud several times!
I enjoyed this book so much I have since binge read several of the series.
A quick read; especially good if you are a wine drinker
With some judicious editing this book might be okay as a light but predictable story. But as it is, it truly is not worth a reader’s time.
Set in Tuscany, you get a feel for the country and wine making. Entertaining and keeps you guessing. I like when Women are strong and empowered.
Somewhat predictable- the main character was too flighty for my taste.
I read it to the end, but could have spent my time better on a different book. It was ordinary and predictable. Go on a vacation in Italy and then being allowed to extend and work? Did she get a work visa in a day? Unrealistic.
This book fell quite a bit short of my expectations. The characters were more like caricatures, shallow and predictable. And while the setting offered a lot of potential for plot development, it, too, relied heavily on stereotypes. When the main character who spent most of her time emoting had a sudden epiphany that enabled her to crack the case, I felt no desire to know if and how the author may have tied up all those dangling loose ends in any other books in this series.
It made me feel like I was with her at all times. Fun time reading it.
I loved it –
Can’t wait to get the next book in the series
Very enjoyable, looking forward to the next book!
Not realistic.
Book is better suited for subteens playing dressup. What’s with the goat? Characters had no depth. Scenery descriptions were nice.
the main character becomes a sommelier without any education just because she “wants to” and the vineyard owner offer her a jobvas their Head sommelier? not gonna happen.
A feel good story.
it is a good book and i recommend this book to everyone
