A football player with a short fuse. A general manager who refuses to let one bad apple ruin her team. But when heads collide, will sparks fly?
Calvin Inman is a pro quarterback with a chip on his shoulder. His older brother has always been the sweetheart of the league, and Calvin just can’t seem to live up to everyone’s expectations of him. Sometimes he takes his frustrations out on the field.… frustrations out on the field.
Audrey Pike is the general manager of her father’s NFL team, the Virginia Reelers. She’s tough as nails and doesn’t let any player shirk their responsibilities or damage the team image.
When Calvin gets into an altercation on the field, Audrey gives him an ultimatum: go to anger therapy or clear out his locker. He’s never had anyone challenge his actions, but deep down he kind of likes it.
Will Calvin redeem himself and save his football career before he blows it with Audrey? Will Audrey be able to save the one player she’s admired from afar for years?

I enjoyed this quick sports read. I thought the characters had good chemistry and good character development.
I did think Cal was a little odd but I’m not really sure why. He definitely had to say corny jokes when he was nervous and just acted a little childish. I’m not really sure how to explain why I thought he was odd.
I did like Audrey though and was glad she had a good backbone. It was interesting to see what everyone was going through and the little twists this story had. Also it was nice that this story could be read without reading the second one. You get to read about characters from the first two books but this still could be read as a stand-alone. I enjoyed the family aspect and learning more about football.
Glad this ended in another HEA.
So this wasn’t my favorite but I still liked it. Cal was the first Inman brother I didn’t love immediately. He did grow on me though. I just felt like the chemistry was lacking a bit in this one.

Audrey owns the football team the Calvin plays for he is a hothead that needs to get his act together to only keep his job but the woman he loves. These characters are engaging and well developed and the flow of the storyline is amazing.

Savannah Adams scores with the third book in her Inman Brothers series! I adore Cal and Audrey! Their story is filled with trials and growth. You can’t help but fall in love with and root for them! I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did.
I received an ARC copy from the author. This is my honest review.
This book gave me all the things I’ve come to love, want and need in a romance story. It was so good. Had all the feels!! Heart eyes!! This reminds me why I love reading romance books and this author nailed this one. Can’t wait to read more in this series. So all you need to know is this book is a must and an one click read all day long. Happy reading everyone!!
The refs make a bad call, and when Cal is ejected from the game, he throws his helmet. Part of his punishment is that he must complete an anger management program. Which makes him angry. He finally decides to do what is necessary to be able to get back on the field. They’re both attracted to each other, but not sure about moving forward. I groaned every time Cal told one of his corny jokes. Like Audrey, I was proud to see that not only did he complete the anger management program, but he found things that would help him keep his temper in check in the future. It was nice to see his haiku throughout the book. I love that Cal got with her bestie Freddie for their own little intervention, which would help her deal better with the pain in her past. It’s a very sweet book, and a nice afternoon read.

Cal Inman is a second string quarterback playing his first game when he gets into a fight and is sent to anger management as punishment. Audrey is GM of the NFL team Cal plays for and she is rooting for him in more ways than one.
I loved this book. The characters are great. The story line was simple and allowed the characters to grow.

This is a well written , clean romance with strong characters in Cal and Audrey. The author pulls you in with the sweet story line, filling it with love and support. The story moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Nobody is perfect. We all have our own flaws. But it is how we handle those flaws that define who we really are.
Calvin is a young football star with a great future ahead of him. Unfortunately his has some anger issues that he needs to work through and this is where Audrey comes in, as she sends him off to Anger Management classes. Audrey isn’t perfect either – past tragedy in her life is holding her back… stopping her from opening up to love.
The journey to love for these two is/was far from smooth – but I was rooting for them all the way.
I also love that Savannah includes references to characters from previous books as well as areas and bars that regular readers among us will already know. But it can be read as a standalone book too of course.
Another great read from Savannah… and don’t let the sporty theme put you off (I don’t “do” sport either) – it’s a lovely, light, clean, sweet romance – suitable for teens right up to oldies.
Enjoy it – I did!
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book, but at no point was I asked for a favourable review. I simply enjoyed it – and that’s it.
After the Sack is a great sports romance with a twist. Audrey is a strong, professional woman who is intimidating to the players. Cal has a chip on his shoulder, but a weakness for Audrey.
Can Cal break through the facade that Audrey puts up? Can Audrey help Cal with his anger and insecurities? Are they willing to take a chance?
This is a fast paced book perfect for when you don’t have a lot of time, but need a little romance.
I was given an ARC courtesy of the author. This is my honest review.
This is my favourite Inman Brothers book so far! I really enjoyed the Southern feel, the complex characters, and realistic story line. While Calvin is a tough guy with some issues, he’s not afraid to work on them to become a better version of himself. He helps Audrey see things aren’t always as they seem and together they are perfect!
