I was thirteen when I was kidnapped. Fourteen when he helped me escape. Twenty-three before I ever saw him again. His face is all over the news: he’s a wanted man, now. Maybe my memory played tricks on me… but he looks so different. The boy who saved me years ago had a shy smile and dark, soulful eyes full of secrets. This man has a hard jaw and a harder mouth. Lips that could never whisper sweet … could never whisper sweet promises.
I knew him as a hero—my savior. I refuse to believe he could become a villain.
Not him.
Then he abducts me, proving me wrong.
He tells me he’s going to take me apart and put me back together again. Make me what he needs me to be: a plaything for a monster.
It’s the fate I escaped when I was fourteen. And that’s when I finally understand.
He was never my hero.
He’s the man who’s going to break me.
Author’s Note: This is a Dark Romance. Approach with that in mind. This full-length novel has a happily ever after, but the trip there might make some uneasy… and I do care about your feelings. I honestly do. So if dark is new to you, read some reviews first to gauge your comfort level. <3 <3

This is a dark romance and I knew that going into but I feel the need to just remind you guys too if you want to pick up this book. It’s a dark romance but it is a happy ending if that makes a difference. I don’t really read dark romances so I haven’t actually read anything like it, I think this was actually my first dark romance (will have to check that).
Conway and Georgia I loved how their relationship built when they were kids and that although she was obviously kidnapped that she managed to find some comfort with him. I really loved that. Also how he protected her from his brother and brought her food and water when it was needed. He, in the end, helps her escape only to kidnap her a few years later. Throughout the novel you could tell that although Conway had to do this his feelings for Georgia were still most prominent and you could tell that he didn’t want to do it. The way Georgia got Conway to tell her the truth of why he was doing it, I thought she was very clever and especially not giving up on him.
I don’t want to say what the reason was or what happened in major details because I don’t want to spoil it. You really should read this book.
Georgia had faith in Conway even when he didn’t and just how they were together even when he was told to break her, she just knew there was something more. I felt so sorry for Conway the guilt he carried around with him from when he was a child when it came to his father’s hobby of kidnapping girls. The author’s writing was brilliant and it gave me so many emotions and feelings. Conway was an interesting character in that to save someone he loves he also has to hurt someone he loves, I feel like despite everything he has been through what he has done haunts him.
One thing with Georgia’s faith sometimes it felt like she was too accepting with what Conway was doing, I know they were both kind of in an impossible situation but yeah sometimes feels like too accepting.
I fell in love with this story you should all definitely pick this up! I really want to go into more detail but spoilers! I really hope you guys will pick it up!
Not my style
Not what I was expecting when I downloaded the book, but a good read regardless. Plenty of plot twist to keep you turning the pages.
Pretty implausible and hard to believe this storyline could ever happen. But it was entertaining!
Well I definitely didn’t expect that! After Our Kiss is not a book that I would normally read. Though I can admit that every once in awhile I need to enjoy a dark romance. This book was the perfect fix. It was dark, it was intriguing, and I definitely didn’t see this one coming. Though thinking about it I shouldn’t be surprised. Georgia and Conway were both incredibly strong. You could feel the strength they needed in order to get through each other’s ordeals. Conway was fighting against so much just to survive and doing what he had to do. However he never found his true self without Georgia. Georgia was just an amazing heroine. She was strong and willing to give everything she had, even her soul, for the one person she truly loved. What an incredible book and I’m glad that it ended with an HEA
GREAT book!
Brilliant! This book blew me away!
One dark, senusal plot twisted stroyline that grabbed me by the feels that I didn’t know if I was ready to let go of at the end!
