Nobody cuts deeper than family…Dr. Noah Alderman, a widower and single father, has remarried a wonderful woman, Maggie Ippolitti, and for the first time in a long time, he and his young son are happy. Despite her longing for the daughter she hasn’t seen since she was a baby, Maggie is happy too, and she’s even more overjoyed when she unexpectedly gets another chance to be a mother to the child … mother to the child she thought she’d lost forever, her only daughter Anna.
Maggie and Noah know that having Anna around will change their lives, but they would never have guessed that everything would go wrong, and so quickly. Anna turns out to be a gorgeous seventeen-year-old who balks at living under their rules, though Maggie, ecstatic to have her daughter back, ignores the red flags that hint at the trouble brewing in a once-perfect marriage and home.
Events take a heartbreaking turn when Anna is murdered and Noah is accused and tried for the heinous crime. Maggie must face not only the devastation of losing her daughter, but the realization that Anna’s murder may have been at the hands of a husband she loves. In the wake of this tragedy, new information drives Maggie to search for the truth, leading her to discover something darker than she could have ever imagined.
Riveting and disquieting, After Anna is a groundbreaking domestic thriller, as well as a novel of emotional justice and legal intrigue. And New York Times bestselling author Lisa Scottoline will keep readers on their toes until the final shocking page

I really enjoyed this book. I did not expect the ending at all. There were many twists and turns that kept me guessing the whole time. I would definitely recommend it.
This book kept me up reading all night. I didn’t care for the end, it was to pat. But the rest of the story was worth reading.
This was a really good read. Didn’t like Anna, was glad when she got killed. This is one of Scottoline better books (except for the books about Bennie and Judy).
I couldn’t wait to finish it to see what happened. That’s what makes it a good book.
Anna was taken away from her mother when she was a baby and raised in Europe. When she is a Senior in high school she is reunited with her mom and step-father. I don’t want to give anything away.
I’ll just say, you won’t be disappointed in the story, the twists and turns and the outcome is one you wouldn’t expect
I like anything she writes.
Very good read.
love Lisa’ books
I found this book entertaining to read because there were so many unknown mysteries to the characters in the novel.. I continued to read to find out what the answers as to whether Anna was who she said she was. Good read.
Lots of twists and turns! I highly recommend. You’ll find it hard to put down
Ok. Not really great. Found myself skimming thru parts to get to end. Unrealistic.
Great writing. It jumps around a bit but stick with it to a great ending. Highly recommended.
Kept my interest. Well developed characters.
She never disappoints. Great read.
It keeps you guessing until the very end
I could not put this book down! I highly recommend it
Great book. I am just about to the end. I am excited to read the end.
A different twist for this author.
Wonderful! Love all of Lisa Scottoline’s books.
First, I want to thank Lisa Scottoline for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Lisa Scottoline is one of my favorite authors so it was a no brainier that when she came out with her Number 1 Best Seller After Anna that I just had to read the book. Lisa wrote one of her best books with one of the biggest twist plots you never in a million years saw coming just when you thought the book was going to end! I was speechless! She gave no clues that was going to happen whatsoever!
If you like you are the type of person who likes mysteries, thrillers, on the edge of your seat, twist and turns, reunited families, deaths, missing people, sexual abuse, murder, sex traffic ring, court case, etc then this book is definitely for you.
I would love to see this book on the big screen one day!
Once again Ms Scottoline keeps the reader guessing!
