What’s a girl to do after being ditched at the altar by text message? That’s right. Text. Message. How does she pick up the pieces and move on? I’m no Dear Abby but here’s a little free advice… anything out into the hallway because you’ll injure your hot new neighbor.
Advice #3 – When said neighbor brings over Chinese Food do not let him stay and keep you company. It’s awkward when you realize he’s your boss.
Advice #4 – Accept his offer to help you with your side business but think twice before using a date to his sister’s wedding as collateral.
Advice #5 – Investigate who your mystery neighbor really is. Don’t trust his word even if he’s the world’s best kisser.
If you listen to nothing else, pay attention to that last one. It’s the most important and will save you a lot of heartache.

I love a good romance book, but when it has a great story, makes you grab a few tissues, and cause you to laugh out loud multiple times, it is a winner. This one is that book. First, I love all the Baileys. They can keep you turning the pages, all on their on. I really felt for Brooklyn Bailey after being left at the altar by way of a text message, but with a good arm, a book, and Grandma Dori, we meet her sexy new neighbor, Wyatt. The only problem I had with this book is that I did not want to put it down, go to work, or do anything but read, and now that I have finished it, I am impatiently waiting for the next book in this series.
I am absolutely loving The Baileys series by writing duo Piper Rayne. Book One blew me away and I enjoyed this one just as much. Advice From A Jilted Bride is a steamy and sweet slow-burn romance that’s brimming with wit, humour and a whole lot of heart.
I completely enjoyed the slow burning sweet romance between Brooklyn and Wyatt. Their story was filled with witty banter and laughs. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. I loved that they were friends first and had that foundation so when they finally gave in to their insane chemistry, it was made it that more explosive. Plus, add in the Bailey siblings and their amazing relationships and interactions and you get one marvellous read.
This series absolutely works for me. It has the feels, the laughs and the heat balanced so perfectly in one wonderful package. Everything just works. The humour and banter, the steam and romance as well as the vulnerability and depth of all the characters. I am so glad this is a huge family because I need more from them. I can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the Bailey family.
Ooooohhh I got a hold of book 2 and I loved it!!! And let me tell you I’m so glad they are a bunch of these Baily’s ..lol
Because I am loving this series and yes I know I’m only on book 2 but these have been amazing books and 5 stars doesn’t do them justice at all. This one is more of a slow burn they went from strangers to friends to more to is there going to be a future for them? But not only did I cry my eyes out for Brooklyn and everything she had to go through it was all worth it. And Wyatt showed up just when she needed him most and was there for her more than he even wanted or thought he would be. And I am still so totally in love with this family’s dynamic and how they are with each other and how they are always there for each other. And they are so funny and charming and whenever I read a Piper Rayne book I feel like I’m coming home to a family I’ve been away from for far too long. And I can’t put the book down till I finish it no matter what time that is whether I’m up almost all night or not I finish that book. I highly highly recommend this book!!! – By Tina
The Bailey’s are my favorite Alaskan family and there are so many of them, they are so loud, special and are one of my favorite series at the moment.
The first book was about the older brother Austin and how he met his future wife. Now, we get to know Brooklyn, the middle sister, she is left at the altar by her scumbag of fiance by text and now is re-thinking about herself and her life. She meets Wyatt in a very funny way and at the end of the day he is her boss and neighbor! Well, it is no fun if I spoil this very sweet, funny and smart story of how these two souls connect despite everything being against them.
Wyatt is a good guy but comes with a desire to please his dad and continue his legacy and Brooklyn only wants to find her place in life.
I just loved it and hope you will like it too!
Piper Rayne’s Bailey Family series is in my opinion, one of THE best family series I’ve ever read and we’re only on book two! I fell hard in book one and my love for the Bailey’s continues into book two with Wyatt and Brooklyn’s story. This slow burn romance captured me from chapter one and I was absolutely smitten with Wyatt and Brooklyn’s story. The chemistry, their connection and how their story developed through the course of the book was enchanting. I fell for them hard! Kudos to Piper Rayne for another fabulous Bailey Family book and I just cannot wait for more!
I’m just loving the Bailey family more and more. With Advice from a Jilted Bride being the second in this series, it’s definitely my favorite so far. I loved and appreciated the steady pace that happened between them aka I was all for the slow burn!
Everything that happened between Brooklyn and Wyatt was everything that I needed and more. From the very beginning when Wyatt just kind of popped up in her life or well when Brooklyn threw a book at his head, it was friendship at … first, throw? I don’t know what Wyatt was expecting when it came to Brooklyn and the Baileys, but he sure did get more than what he bargained for.
Watching everything evolve around these two was my absolute favorite. I loved that it was this strangers to friends to lovers kind of romance. Neither was looking for something more and there was a timeline on Wyatt’s stay in Lake Starlight. So it was obvious something more couldn’t come from this. I appreciated the honesty they had with each other and just how open they were with one another. They had a solid friendship before everything and I loved that.
This was just one of those warm and feel good kind of books. We see everything between these two develop from beginning to end. They both had their own things they were working on and eventually as a couple, they had some flourishing to do as well.
Piper & Rayne did it again with bringing a book that everyone will love and enjoy! I am soooo looking forward to this crazy-fun family in the next addition.

I love these Bailey’s so much!!!
When can I move to Lake Starlight? I am so in love with this town and all of these characters! I can’t get enough! This series has everything I want and I’m so excited that we get 9, yes 9, whole books! My book loving heart is so happy!
Brooklyn Bailey is stood up at the altar and her family is right there to help her put the pieces back together. Things get very interesting when a hot new neighbor moves in. Wyatt’s such a caring man, despite the hard exterior he shows.
There are some twists and turns to this story that had my heart racing in worry about how things would work out. I had nothing to worry about though, and I should have known. My heart was put back together and I loved the way the story turned out.
Don’t miss out on this great series! It’s so beautiful and full of heart! You won’t regret reading any of these stories!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
Brooklyn Bailey is 26 years old and has just been dumped via text on the day of her wedding. Now she is angry and ready to move on and that means clearing out her ex’s stuff out of their apartment but when she unexpectedly throws a book that hits her hot new neighbor she knows things are not looking up.
Soon Brooklyn finds herself confiding in her new neighbor, Wyatt Moore and the two begin spending more time together until she discovers he’s actually her new boss at the Glacier Point Resort. When the two begin spending more time together deals are brokered and secrets are let out.
Will Brooklyn find what she has been missing or will spending time with Wyatt only lead to more heartbreak?
This was another amazing book that is filled with so many laughs and so many heartbreaking moments that leave you wanting so many more pages as you never want the story to end.
Brooklyn was just such an amazing and awesome character. I was so sad she got dumped via text on her wedding day and I seriously wanted to punch her ex, Jeff, for doing that to her. I love her family and seriously want to be adopted into them. This is one of those families that keeps you in stitches through the book. I was so happy when she decided to go on the honeymoon but then was totally shocked but really happy with what the security woman did!!
Wyatt was one of those complex characters as he needed to prove something to his dad yet he was following a dream that revolved around him needing to prove himself instead of following his own dreams. I liked that he was there for Brooklyn and kept her secrets for as long as he could but things changed when he was confronted by Rome.
It was interesting to watch things develop between Wyatt and Brooklyn especially when he was holding some pretty big secrets from Brooklyn. I loved watching the two get closer and how they made some deals to help each other out – Brooklyn with her company and Wyatt with a date to his sister’s wedding.
I was so mad at several characters in the book especially Jeff and then also Wyatt’s dad Abe. Each were such jerks and I was mad at both of them several times during the book.
As mentioned I truly love Brooklyn’s family and what each of them bring into the family dynamics. Grandma Dori is just a blast and so much fun yet she is also so insightful and says it as it is and I loved that.
I really understood why Brooklyn wasn’t willing to sacrifice her happiness at the end of the book after everything she and her family had been through. I knew that Wyatt had to really figure out what he needed and what was most important to him before he could be happy and I loved the wisdom his mom gave him.
The very end of the book was so great and I did a little happy dance at how it all worked out!
The epilogue was absolutely jaw-dropping and I can’t wait for the next book!!
Brooklyn has had one of the worse days ever and to top it off she hits the new neighbor and just can’t believe her luck. Wyatt is dumbfounded by the flying object and wants nothing to do with his new neighbor.
Then he meets the Baileys (who I fell in love with the family and the whole small town) and Grandma Dori asks him to keep an eye on her. What’s a man to do except say yes. He definitely got more than he bargained for.
Brooklyn was unlike anyone he’s ever known, he’s used to the exact opposite of Brooklyn. He starts to FEEL things for Brooklyn that he’s never felt before and he doesn’t know what to do with those feelings. If he acts on them, he loses something that seemed like the most important thing to him BUT if he doesn’t act on them will he lose the best thing that’s ever happened to him?
I can’t wait to keep following this series. LOVE IT!!!
I couldn’t wait for book 2 of the Bailey’s and it did not disappoint. Advice from a Jilted Bride is Brooklyn’s story and I devoured this book. Brooklyn was left at the alter and while clearing her new apartment she was supposed to share with her new husband of all signs of him Wyatt is greeted with a book to the head. This starts a relationship between the two that had me laughing and crying…. sometimes at the same time. I LOVED this book and am counting down the days until book 3!
I absolutely love this book. From start to finish I was completely hooked. The writing style is incredibly. The flow of the book is perfection, you would never know there are two authors writing this book. The characters have great depth and their personalities make them so easy to connect with. I loved that this book was so much more than a funny romance. It’s about finding your soulmate in a pond filled with toads. Sometimes you mistake love for comfort. A jilted bride might be just what every ones needs to realize loving yourself and never losing who you are should be a top priority in a relationship. It’s all about give and take not take and take and take. I adore this series and can’t wait for more.
Wyatt and Brooklyn are like two beacons in the night! Completely drawn to each other! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Wyatt came to Lake Starlight to make his dreams come true, what happens when he finds the one and those dreams change? You are going to love this so much!
Brooklyn is done with men! Doesn’t need them or want them after being a Jilted Bride.. in walk Wyatt the hot neighbor… and her new boss. Should it matter that she cannot stop thinking of him and how he looks after her… he believes in her dreams so much he helps her to get her business off the ground. Is he too good to be true.
One epic love story for Piper Rayne!
Brooklyn Bailey is the talk of the Town, literally. The gossip is out and she was left at the alter. The confrontation is outstanding.
Enter Wyatt. The hottie next door and exactly the person to cheer her up.
I loved how this was a slow burn relationship and they build up to something amazing. It makes the story that much better. I’m in love with this awesome characters and can’t wait to see what the Bailey clan has in store next.
“ ’ . . ’ .”
If you’re looking for a romance that will make you feel good all over, you’ve come to the PERFECT place! , book two in Piper Rayne’s ℎ series, is a steamy and sweet slow-burn romance that’s brimming with humor, wit, and so much heart. These characters, hell, this entire family has won my heart from the very beginning. I know with each new book in the series, my fondness for all of them will grow stronger. Brooklyn and Wyatt…I love how they went from complete strangers, to fast friends, to lovers where their bond grew hotter, bolder, and stronger as each day went by. With a pretty hilarious “meet-cute” and the emotional and tension-filled circumstances that followed, this is one happily ever after you won’t want to miss.

Advice from a Jilted Bride by Piper Rayne is the second book in The Bailey’s series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading the first book too! The Bailey’s have quickly wormed their way into my heart. This family you guys, is honestly the absolute best and Advice from a Jilted Bride was truly incredible. This small town romance story is full of humor, family, and the type of love we all hope to have.

Let me start by saying I’ve read every book this duo has written, I’ve loved some more than others but this one is without a doubt my favourite. I picked this up with every intention of reading a chapter while I had a quick coffee and before I knew it I’d finished the book.
Brooklyn is another Bailey that’s unbelievably easy to like. After been ditched at the alter I couldn’t help but feel sorry for her but it doesn’t take her long to pick herself up and start trying to move on. She may not have made the best first impression on her new neighbour when she launched a cup at his head but that changes when he makes a promise to keep an eye on her.
The chemistry and tension between Bailey and Wyatt slowly builds until there’s no ignoring it but knowing it’s only temporary makes them both wary of taking that step. Baileys siblings are the perfect finishing touches to this book. Who wouldn’t want a family like them? Close knit, supportive and always there for each other, I can’t wait to get the rest of the Baileys’ stories.
This was my first Piper Rayne book, but definitely not my last! I thought this was a fun, sweet story! When we meet Brooklyn, she’s experiencing one of the worst days of her life. In the midst of her worst day ever, she meets her new neighbor, Wyatt. Wyatt slips into her life unexpectedly and they have such chemistry! I found myself laughing and smiling while reading this book and I couldn’t devour it fast enough! I recommend this read and I really look forward to reading more from Piper Rayne!
I LOVED this book! I was so glad to be back in Lake Starlight, Alaska with the Bailey family. Even though she was left at the alter, I love that Brooklyn was so upbeat about her life. I loved how the family flocked around her too. Wyatt was so endearing to watch fall in love with Brooklyn! I enjoyed watching them learn from their pasts and find a future together!
PS- I sooooo can’t wait to see what happens next after that epilogue!!!!
Piper Rayne always writes these killer slow burn books and this is no different. I loved how we got to see all the Baileys again in this book and they were still just as awesome!
From the beginning where Brooklyn and Wyatt met it was just love at first sight even in really tragic events. They had so much chemistry and they were just natural with each other from the start.
Wyatt was the perfect gentleman who had so much to give but never did, but this time he chooses to give everything to Brooklyn even if he didn’t even realize it himself.
As I said this was a slow burn and at times I got a little frustrated with them but not as much as I normally get with slow burn romance’s I felt like Piper Rayne always gave just enough development to not make me want to rip out my hair and yell at the book.
This book was filled with humor and I was laughing multiple times throughout it. In this book, you aren’t just getting a love story but a book filled with family and friends that are just as much a part of this book as the couple.
You could feel throughout this book that a drama was building. They worked too well, it all went to smooth and you could just feel the tension creeping in on you.
So are you looking for an easy read with lots of humor that will make you smile and laugh? With an awesome and huge family in it who will make you glad you didn’t have that many meddling people in your life but wish you had that many siblings then this is your book.
P.s the epilogue was so good I can’t wait for the next book I think it will be the best one yet in this series!
Brooklyn Bailey is about to get married when she receives a TEXT from her soon to be husband that he can’t go through with the wedding! All her family rallies around her and taker her back to her apartment that she was to live with her new husband. Brooklyn starts throwing out Jeff’s stuff and tosses a book into the hall and it hits Wyatt and cuts his forehead. Brooklyn checks on him to make sure he’s ok. She then decides to go on her honeymoon alone but finds out that her ex cashed in her ticket so she can’t go. She decides not to tell her family and just holes up in her apartment. Wyatt sees her and decides to take care of her. He encourages her to expand her essential oils and helps her with the business part of it. Brooklyn knows that he’s the manager of the hotel she works at but not that he’s really the owner’s son. What will she do when she finds out? Will Wyatt figure out how to keep Brooklyn before it’s too late? Will her family let him live? Piper Rayne never disappoints with any of the books and this one is no exception. There’s so much story here and I enjoyed it all. We get a sneak peak at the next book and it looks really good. I read an advanced copy but have the book now.
