Fame. Glamour. Stardom. There’s nothing Michele could want that she can’t have.Except for the attention of the man acting like she doesn’t exist. It was by pure accident that she fell on him – and maybe, for him – upon a chance encounter. After sharing one night of musical passion, she can’t help but hope for more, only to leave broken-hearted.Because when another person is involved, he has to … another person is involved, he has to want her just as much as she wants him.
Music. Passion. Innovation.
Peter’s life was simple before her.
The only thing on his mind was his travels and his work.
Until her voice and her smile started to consume his thoughts.
What started as curiosity turned to intrigue and then to something more.
When his job calls him back to reality, he must choose between his head and his heart.

What a fun story. I think what I like most is the flow and the quickness. This story gets to the point and takes you right in. Time passes quickly and no drama. Just a great, fun love story. Perfect for a weekend read. Take yourself away and relax.
Michele and Peter are perfect for each other and together they are great. Well worth the read. Well written easy read.
Beautiful story.
This is a super sweet, beautiful story, with characters who truly adore each other. Michele is intrigued by the guest conductor at the performance she was attending. She has a mutual friend that gets him to their table for dinner and has a wonderful evening chatting with Peter. When he just lets her leave at the end of the evening she assumes he is isn’t as interested in her as she was with him. Until he she’s up the next day at her apartment when he was supposed to be flying across the country for a job. Grab this wonderful book today and you will be taken on a sweet enjoyable journey with them to their HEA. Great read and I highly recommend it!

So, I don’t normally don’t pick up novellas or short books cause I personally prefer something longer to read. But, I must admit… they’re quite interesting and absolutely enjoyable in their own ways… at least the ones that are beautifully written. Adoring You by Vic Tyler was definitely that and more. It was just as sexy and hot as it was sweet, swoony, and heartwarming. I had fun reading it and fell in love with both the MCs.
I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this story. It was seductive and beautifully affecting that I found myself glued to the pages. I thought the writing style was elegant, gorgeous, and tantalizing. I could feel every emotion the author wanted me to experience and it was intoxicating. The plot was wonderfully well-developed and I was enamored the entire time. The characters were all likable and interesting. I adored Peter and Michele and thought their chemistry was intense and utterly delicious! I loved that they were both as passionate about their music and career as much as they were about each other. The story ended with a predictable, but delightfully swoony HEA that for sure will make you fall in love with being in love.
Adoring You was a dazzling love story that captivated me and made my heart melt over and over. I love Tyler’s message about passion, love, and life. It was a short, but there was also a lovely emotional depth weaved throughout the novel. It’s a story you’d want to savor and share and I think romance lovers would be enamored just as much as I was.
This was truly a pleasant, irresistibly swoony, and deliciously satisfying read and I highly recommend you check it out. Vic Tyler managed to capture my heart and I can’t wait to read more of her books.
I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts, feelings and swoons are my own

4 Star Review of Adoring You ( Troubling Affections #0) by Vic Tyler
Vic Tyler is a new author to me. Adoring You is a sweet, steamy, quick romance. Although it is
a prequel to Redeeming You in it can as a standalone.
The writing was strong and I liked the characters of Peter and Michelle. Also the secondary characters were just as interesting.
When Peter hears Michelle singing, he is instantly attracted. Fast forward 12 months and they meet again.
The chemistry between Peter and Michelle was intense and made for some steamy scenes.
This was a sweet romance that I found enjoyable.
Michele is an opera singer. Peter is a conductor and travels the world for his music. When he sees Michele things start changing for him. Michele is drawn to Peter but knows he doesn’t do relationships. When they come together its like they bring each other to life. Peter wants to see where things can go with Michele so he puts his career on the back burner to stay with her. Will they be able to build something with Peter not doing what he loves? Can Michele turn him into a one woman man?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them was off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is my first time reading this author! This is a sweet, happy, and short love story! It took me a few pages to get into this novella, but once I did it was very enjoyable! I need emotions and the first pages are setting the scene which I will admit I wasn’t familiar with! The feelings, mystery, and then the story that Peter tells at the end left me giggling in delight! There’s no drama. It’s just a happy, realistic read. It was wonderful!
There was only one sex and it just felt out of place. I read a lot of romance novels so I’m no prude, but I don’t feel like this one worked. It wasn’t very sexy to me. Yet, it was purposeful. But that’s just me!
I want to read more by this author especially a full length novel!
Thank you to the author/publisher for an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.
When Peter see’s Michele for the first time he knows there is something about her. It’s her voice he hears first, following the sound to see the beautiful woman singing. He’s smitten from that moment.
A year later and he has his chance. He’s worked for this and planned this meeting. Michele has never left his thoughts or his heart.
When Michele spots Peter at the gala she can’t take her eyes off him. She met him once before though fleetingly it left an impression.
A slow build romance, it was sweet and sexy and proves that love at first sight is possible.
The unapologetically honesty and the with unabated attention to every detail made me feel like I was a part of every moment of this story. I was hooked on page one and couldn’t put the book down as I was introduced to the beautiful charismatic Michelle and her romantic career one you can only dream to experience. Then we meet Peter with the his confidence. He is the perfectly balanced rogue who is sexy, steamy, seeping masculine chemistry. A store that’s bound to entertain with its chemistry. A true five star read.

I was entertained that this is different than most romances I have read. Two dedicated professionals, jet setting around the world for their work and yet they make it happen to accommodate each other’s schedule. There is an enduring commitment to love one another no matter the distance or time between them. As time progressed so did their relationship. I loved reading this story and highly recommend it. It was a short sweet novella. Though I’d some difficulty to understand music related terms in the starting but the storyline was so good I couldn’t leave it!!
Michelle is a Broadway artist and attending first social event.
There she meets Peter, a very famous and acclaimed conductor.
*spoiler* Though she doesn’t know but Peter had seen her before her big break and since then attracted to her*spoiler*
They spend the evening together and their chemistry is sooo good!
The ending was awesome.
Overall I love the writing style and story line very much!! AND obviously Peter.
Thank you to Vic Tyler & Booksprout for asking me to read an ARC for my honest review of Adoring you.
This was my first book by this Author, I was intrigued and wanting to give my support to a new upcoming Author although I had no prior knowledge about the story content.
This was a love story about Peter and Michele and how they fell for each other through their work together in the Opera and Orchestra.
It was a sweet story with elements of sexiness.
My own personal frustrations lay where I was having to refer to the online dictionary for the meaning of words. Whilst I’ve never experienced problems with the English language, I did at times have the feeling of being a ‘dipsh!t’ through some of the ambitious words that the author chose to use. This for me, did detract from the overall enjoyment of this read.
I would give Adoring You 3.5 stars.
Very romantic and dreamy
This short prequel is pure romantic love story. Characters outlined on the pages are incredibly likeable and easy to connect with. Their connection is instant and the feelings are pure. Love that can conquer all and is full of understanding and is selfless. I enjoyed reading this very much and can’t wait to read the next part.
A new author-to-me, Vic Tyler clearly knows how to write! Adoring You is a fast-paced romance between two musical greats who made me smile. Michele comes off as a diva but through Peter’s eyes, he sees the real woman, the one who sings in courtyards when she thinks no one is watching and shows kindness to even the youngest of strangers.
I didn’t know what to make of this burgeoning singing superstar but between her bestie in Jorge (the man needs his own book, he is so deliciously witty and charming) and her wild attraction to the maestro that is Peter Lennox, I came to like her a whole lot. There is a definite chemistry right from the start and Peter’s awkwardness with Michele at first was sweet. I loved that he was determined to put his hectic life on hold just to woo her.
Peter and Michele definitely bring out the best in each other and I was thrilled they found each other and let us inside their crazy romance. I am now very interested in reading Redeeming You, which features more from this wonderful crew. And I’m a definite fan of Tyler now and can’t wait to read more from this talented author.
4 solid stars!
This is a really sweet story. They were definitely made for one another. I enjoyed how they fell in love and their romance was just perfect.

A dreamy, fanciful, saccharine tale set within the classical world of music. Two dedicated and goal orientated operatic artists are brought together by their passion of music and are determined to make their love for one another work within their chaotic schedules.
Adoring You is a slow burn romance with an attractive storyline and charismatic characters. Vic Tyler has presented a well formulated, charming novella that will caress your romantic senses.
This is a new to me author which will not remain that way. I will be sure to check out new releases from her again. I loved the musical aspect of the story which invites us into the event of the year, the Spring Gala at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, for classical music followers, patrons and of course, their stars, this is the place to be and be seen!
Michele Devereaux is a rising young singer, beautiful, with a most amazing voice who has caught the attention and admiration of many. Now though, she is wondering who that classically tall dark and handsome man is sitting nearby that she has noticed but is not noticing her..or is he?
He is Peter Lennox, the most acclaimed conductor of his time and she didn’t recognize him? He looks familiar but she would remember meeting him, that’s for sure. No as the show begins, she must endure a spiteful rival vocalist who is, as she feels, unworthy to be center stage with this magnificent, creative conductor who she is becoming alittle obsessed with now! It should be her in the spotlight by his side!
Read this short but mysteriously sexy, slow burn and find out the whole story of what happens next. The characters were very intense and there is chemistry you can feel in your heart as you read these well written words in this novella. It will leave you wanting more but the ending is satisfying as it is. I’m going to remember this for for a long time, SO good!

Adoring You by Vic Tyler a five-star read you will adore. This was such a great read; the music will compel you and have you swaying as you read. Peter Lennox could conduct me at any time, I would follow his direction and let him play me like any of his instruments, including a uke uke.
I loved adoring you. It was sweat and steamy. It’s a page turner and keeps you wondering. You won’t be disappointed.
Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
