A friends-to-lovers new adult MM romance from USA Today bestseller Siobhan Davis. Stand-alone with HEA and no cliff-hanger. Keaton Moving to California was supposed to be my fresh start. A clean slate. An opportunity to drop the façade, escape the lies, find a focus, and just be myself. But I should have realized it wouldn’t be easy, especially when my last name is Kennedy.I’m not ready to be a … when my last name is Kennedy.
I’m not ready to be a gay icon or some celebrity role model. I still haven’t admitted the truth to my family or the girl I professed to love, so there’s no way I want the public to know I’m into dudes.
Falling for my hot, straight, football-player roomie wasn’t part of the game plan.
Neither was backing myself into a corner because I trusted the wrong guy.
Now everything is on the line, and it’s time to stop pretending.
Austen
From the time I was a little kid, all I wanted is to play football in college and play in the NFL. As wide receiver for the Golden Bears, I am on track to achieve my goals, but it comes at a heavy price.
Denying who I am—for the sake of my career—goes against everything I believe.
I should never have listened to my high school coach, because all the lies are suffocating me.
Until Keaton Kennedy enters my life, turning it upside down.
Now, there is even more reason to tell the truth, because I’m falling for the famous one and I want the entire world to know.
This heartwarming, emotional romance has a dash of angst and drama, a sprinkling of humor, and cameos from some of your favorite characters from the series. It is a 100k-word full-length novel, and the second to last book in the Kennedy Boys series. This can be read as a stand-alone novel as it focuses on a new couple; however, it is recommended you start at the beginning of the series for maximum reading enjoyment.

Keaton’s life has been lived in the public eye for as long as he can remember. Keaton is hiding who he really is because he is afraid to disappoint his family members, scared that he won’t be accepted, he is ready to share his secret and is ready to live is life. Keaton and Austen are best friends and there feeling towards each other grow stronger and stronger as the continue to spend time together. There feelings are so strong that they finally act on them and cue the fireworks. To me love is love and is shouldn’t matter who we love and Keaton and Austen are a great example of that and your fears shouldn’t define you as a person. There relationship has it’s ups and downs like any relationship does but they are perfect for each other in every way possible. I loved reading this book and I am also sad that we are getting closer to the end of this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Honestly one of the most heart-soaring and inspiring love stories I’ve ever read. Keaton was always the level-headed, caring, and selfless Kennedy brother and I’ve always had a soft spot for him. Getting to really know the real Keaton made me love him even more. Meanwhile, Austen is the absolute perfect guy for Keaton and I fell for him so hard! I think he might be my favourite non-Kennedy of the entire series! Of course, this book wouldn’t be as phenomenal as it was without a healthy amount of angst, heartbreak and absurdingly hot scenes. I couldn’t help wanting to read the book twice and cried for several chapters straight the second time as well because OMG the feels! These guys have a permanent place in my heart and the book left me all cozy warm and happy. I can’t recommend the Kennedy Boys series enough and this book is the icing on the cake. I wish I could make my 5 stars flash bright neon or something because everybody needs to read Adoring Keaton.

5+ Stars
I just discovered Siobhan Davis not so long ago, so I’m new to the Kennedy Boys series. I am familiar with her suspenseful, fast-paced and action filled bully romances, but I was not prepared for Adoring Keaton. This emotional MM new adult romance touched me deeply. I have been suffering from one of the best book hangovers since I finished this masterpiece.
Keaton and Austen beautiful story explored an important lesson that everyone, no matter their sexuality, would have to go through at some point in their life. The process of finding the courage to live a life that is true to themselves is scary, confusing and difficult. Not everyone is lucky enough to have accepting and loving friends and family by their side when they make the important choices. Siobhan has captured the essence of Keaton and Austen’s journey on finding themselves precisely and the angst and struggling they endured were so on point.
Both characters were adorable and relatable. I love the dynamics between them and they bring out the best of each other. Their affection for each other were genuine and they communicated with such honesty and trust. The acceptance, respect, loyalty and support they have for each other were pure relationship goal. It was heart-wrenching to see all the obstacles that laid in their way. At one point, my heart just broke into a million pieces and I was in tears screaming at my kindle. At the end, I do see the necessity for them to experience that incident in order to grow up a little before they reach their well deserved happily ever.
I absolutely enjoyed this emotional and all-consuming MM romance. I wasn’t expected to love the story so much. As I’m new to the Kennedy family, I’m guessing the family drama was not unusual. They were definitely an interesting bunch and I’ve plans to go back and start the series from the beginning.
I volunteered to provide an honest review of an advance complimentary copy of this book.
While MM isn’t always my go to, Siobhan Davis is, and I’ve loved every single book in the Kennedy Boys series. I’m pleased to say that Adoring Keaton was no different. The best way to describe how I feel about this book and it’s content, is that love is love and heat is heat and it doesn’t really matter who is on the giving and receiving ends. This story was romantic and steamy and everything you want from a good romance. The fact that the couple is male didn’t really factor into my emotions while reading.
I love how both Keaton and Austen had something to offer the other, how they both brought out something good in the other’s life. I also just adore how open and accepting the majority of Keaton’s family was. (Though I’m upset with one and can’t wait to see what’s up there.) I felt sad for Keaton that he felt like he had to hide who he was for so long and I sincerely hope that my friends and family never feel that way around me.
The creeps who treated Keaton so badly are the evil of the world and I literally got so angry I was shaking while reading those parts. The way Austen stood up for Keaton and was there for him through it all was so beautiful.
So, once again, Davis has hit it out of the park for me. I loved every bit of this book and was kind of sad when it was over. I will eagerly await the next Kennedy Boys book and anything else the author chooses to write for us!
*I was blessed with an advanced copy of this book, which I voluntarily reviewed.*
This book tore my heart apart. This story was incredibly well done. Keaton’s story was so worth the wait. I love him and Austen, they fought through so much for their relationship. They have the most inspiring, trusting, caring (I could go on and on) relationship. The chemistry these two had was unreal. It was so intense. If you love Siobhan’s books, or even if you’re new too her, this is a must read. Its one of her best books! If I could give this more stars I absolutely would.
I LOVED IT!
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. This is my first M/M friends to lovers book but Siobhan has written it so beautifully. I always knew there was something special about Keaton and I wasn’t wrong. I love him even more now. Keaton has lived a life in the public eye and has lived it in fear of everyone finding out about his secret. He desperately wants to tell his family but he’s afraid of disappointing them but the Kennedy’s are too loving a family to ever do anything but love him unconditionally. This book is so heartwarming at times it had tears in my eyes and I couldn’t see to read. Keaton and Austen stole my heart and they are so smoking hot together. At times I was crying and at times I was furious. My emotions were all over the place and I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
Adoring Keaton is a fantastic read that you will not want to put down. Keaton has always been one of my favorites amongst the Kennedy clan and he does not disappoint in this book. He is still the sweet, kind, loving and considerate brother. He always wants to take care of those he loves almost to the point of hurting himself. He is across the country going to college solo and facing a personal crises without the support of his family in this book. He finds himself attracted to his roommate and struggles with his true feelings and the need to be his true self. This story is emotional, heart wrenching and inspirational. I love Keaton and Austen. They have amazing chemistry and love for each other; however, their road to a happily ever after is riddled with obstacles and strife. This beautifully written story is about accepting one’s self and finding your true happiness. The Kennedy Boys has been amazing series and this latest installment is the best book so far. Siobhan Davis is such an amazing story teller and she definitely brings her A game with this five star read. You need to read this amazing book and this entire series today.
I started reading The Kennedy Boys series a long time ago and even since Finding Kylar I knew the stories of the triplets were going to be my favourites. Two down and I was right. This was incredible and I’m so glad I took my time and savoured this. This was beautiful. The writing was beautiful, the story was beautiful and Keaton and Austen were beautiful together. It’s not without it’s angst and it really will put you through it. But it will be worth it. I volunteered to leave an unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
First of all this is part of the Kennedy Brothers series. It is considered a stand alone so you can read it first but to get the best experience, I prefer to read in order, you will also get a better understanding of Keaton and his family.
I am not drawn to M/M romances but I am drawn to this author, this series and Keaton, so I couldn’t wait for this book to come out. (No pun intended) As expected I loved the book!
Throughout the series Keaton is so sweet and a wonderful person inside and out, not to mention gorgeous and he is a triplet. There was always something that seemed to be hiding or missing and book explains it.
If you never read a MM romance just put that aside and read this. It is about two people falling in love. Austen is comfortable about who he is but it is suggested that he hide certain aspects of himself. Keaton is not comfortable with who he is and keeping it a secret.
These two become friends and discover so much more. It is a wonderful romance, beautifully written, at no time did I feel uncomfortable with the story, I was hooked and hopeful for the two.
The charters, story, love scenes are exceptionally written and I couldn’t wait to know more, The charters are complex, the story grabs you and the journey pulls at your emotions. The main characters in this book are a favorite in the series for me.
I highly recommend reading this book. It leads to the last book in the series and I am really anticipating that book. Siobhan Davis is an extraordinary story teller and you will seek out everything she has written!!!!!
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed are my own and I have not been compensated for this review.
Adoring Keaton warm, heart-touching book that will leave tear streaming down your face.
Hats off to Queen Siobhan Davis delivered on her promise that this book is so much more than a love story. She gave me something extra when she brought back Faye. She is the icing on the cake for me. I think as born to a mother that always made believe in myself and to love myself so it was easy to pass this along to my children. This is not the cast for everyone if you not living your real life this book is for you. One of her best book in this series!!!!
voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
OMG if you’ve read the other Kennedy Boys, you know that you’re in for a teat with this ome. Keaton is this guy who we all want in our lives but he makes himself so vulnerable. I live how he never gives up and proves that if love can come to those who wait then it’s worth it. Austen is the strong yet determined to get what he wants. When the two come together is like bam and it give us what we want and need. Siobhan has me holed on every story and I want and will always need more. If you haven’t read this series I highly recommend it. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
where do i start this book pulled me in from the start and by the end i didnt want it to let me go, a beautifully written story , not my first MM romance but by far the best one, its made me laugh cry scream with anger but most of all it made me feel, its incredibly hot scenes were amazing and it just all round entertained me, Siobhan hit this one right out of the park.
I don’t know why but many of my favourite fictional couples are MM. There is just something about the banter, & relationship that makes you fall for the couple.
Austen & Keaton have made it onto my favourite list. I loved this book & these two are by far my favourite couple in the Kennedy clan. There was just something about these two together, they had so much chemistry. You could feel the love pouring off the pages.
These two went through so much in their relationship. I couldn’t imagine going through that. But life is anything but fair as has been proven with every book in this series. I loved getting to revisit the rest of the family & see where they had gotten to be in life.
I will say this I had really started to like Kent in Keanu’s book but now I can’t stand him. He was insane in this book. I’m not sure how he’s going to redeem himself in his book, but I can’t wait to read it.
I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.
Let me start off this review by making it clear that I’m not an M/M reader, I’ve only read a couple. So if you’re reading reviews to see if you should try something out of your comfort zone, DO IT!!!
I read this book in nearly one sitting as I could not put it down. The characters and plot will ensare you from cover to cover. Honestly I shocked myself on how I loved every single aspect. I love this author so yes I was expecting to enjoy at least some of it, but ended up enjoying every page.
The M/M parts were dealt with respectfully and weren’t in your face, was just two people in love.
The highs and lows of their story will send you on a rollercoaster of emotions that will leave you wishing the ride wasn’t quite over yet. Never have I wanted to shake or slap so many different characters in one book. And that just made the story even more perfect.
Definitely recommend, no matter your tastes.
Swoonworthy perfection
This is the ninth installment in Siobhan Davis’ The Kennedy Boys series and it is a standalone friends to lovers M/M romance. Now, I must admit that when Ms Davis announced that this was going to be an M/M romance I was skeptical. Although I have read a couple of MMF romances and I was somewhat introduced to some MM (inter)action, I must admit that M/M romances are not my cup of tea. There is nothing wrong with these romances, the reason for me is that I simply can’t relate. However, Ms Davis made me reconsider my stance towards this particular gender. And although I can’t say that I am eager to dive into M/M romances in general, I wouldn’t mind reading another by Ms Davis in the slightest.
That being said, let’s talk about “Adoring Keaton”…The title conveys the gist of the story, although I believe that “Adoring Keaton AND Austen” would be better (swoon!)….What an adorable couple! Both so mature, honest and open towards each other. They value their relationship from the start, although they tiptoe around each other at first, and they support each other. If only all the couples would be like that…Now, don’t expect their happy ending to be delivered without the Siobhan Davis’ famous rollercoaster ride…There were ups and downs, moments that made me cry and yell at my kindle, but it was SO worth it…The journey for those two to reveal their real selves, not to each other (that comes so natural to them, despite their young age and the personal growth each of them has to do – it’s so swoonworthy!) but to the world, is not an easy one. They both feel that there are a lot at stake – Austen is a football player and being gay is somewhat frowned upon, while Keaton has to face the media vultures that accompany his well-known family. There are people in the story that I would like to smack repeatedly on the head, who almost succeed in tearing the couple apart. Thank God they come to their senses and choose happiness over everything else.
The entire Kennedy family will again steal your heart. Now…the black sheep of the family – Kent – is an entirely different story… The sensitive and intuitive side of him that we saw in Releasing Keanu (the previous Kennedy Boys book) is obliterated in this one…However, although I admit that his stance toward Keaton, his triplet brother nonetheless, caused me grief and I initially wanted to strangle him, I can’t help but wonder…did something happen to him in the past that triggered that behavior? His true self is a real mystery to us, one I can’t wait to discover in his book “Reforming Kent” that (blissfully) is coming out soon.
All in all, “Adoring Keaton” is a must, 5-star read for me. Even if you are not into M/M romances, like me, I would definitely suggest to give it a shot. It’s worth it and then some. I promise that any second thoughts you may have will be eliminated by the euphoria only the display of true love and real emotions can cause. You won’t be able to help rooting for Keaton and Austen as well.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I wanted more since the first book and I am devouring it all! If you haven’t started this series, it’s a must. You will want this series in your life. You will need this series on it life. It’s that good.
He moved away from his family to be his own person, to try and be real but still he hides.
The football house is known as the party house and that’s where he’s found passed out by the football god, after a night of drinking.
It was the beginning of a true friendship, but he wanted more, so much more..
I’ve been both looking forward to this and dreading it at the same time. I love the Kennedy boys but I’m almost a virgin MM reader.
Once I met the boys I soon realised there wasnt anything to be frightened about, far from it. What they share is more than what goes on in the bedroom.
Keats is so sweet, and nice, with the biggest heart ever known to man, and Austin is truly the right guy for him as he’s so compassionate and understanding.
The sexual tension between them completely fascinated me. On the inside I was their cheerleader!
I felt their love and by golly gosh it was both hot and steamy, yet calm and sedate too.
Such a heartwarming, and beautiful story that will give you all the feels and leave your heart full of love for both boys.
Siobhan Davis has written this in a way that will make it appeal to everyone, even those who dont dabble in this genre.
Holy cow. This book is waw. This is definitely one of my favourites in this series. It was my first time read an mm book. And it hit me in all the right places, it gave me all the feels. Keaton has always been one of my favourites out of the Kennedy brothers.you could see he was always struggling for the other books and It was nice to watch him grow and to come into himself. And except who is. I found this book very realistic in the way that Keaton try’s to deal with excepting himself. And I’m sure loads of people will be able to relate. Siobhan played this book perfectly. I highly recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
First of all, I love all the Kennedy boys! Keaton has always been in my mind since the first book. We got clues about him from the very first Kennedy boys book, and I’ve always felt for him and looked forward to reading his story.
This book and this story was just what I needed now after a few weeks of feeling numb due to all the stuff happening all around the world. Even so, this book is a book and a story that our whole world needs! Our society needs this! Every school needs to have this book in their english courseworks.
Enough about what everyone needs and more about this book.
Lets start with the writing: it was amazing! The way Siobhan Davis got her words out and gave life to her characters amazes me! Siobhan is such a skilled author and I admire her art, because that’s what this book was, a work of art. Both because of her use of words but also because of the way she tells the story.
Back to Keaton. Oh what a sweet boy.
What about Austen? Oh what an amazing boyfriend!
This book gave me all the feels, I cried and I laughed my heart out.
I don’t feel like spoiling more of the book, or spoiling at all. You just have to take my word for it, this book is well worth the one-click and read!
Get ready for one of the best love stories ever. This amazing Friends-to-love book was recommended to me by my book buddy as I love M/M. And this book was one of the better I have ever read. The love story was so beautiful. The chemistry of the two characters Austen and Keaton flew off the pages. And get ready to swoon. Holy wow, I not only want to be around these two, because their chemistry was raw, hot and amazing to read. But I also want to hug them through their trials and struggles in their lives that they are both going through.
Austen has the confidence, Keaton needs. But Keaton brings so much to the table for Austen which makes them a perfect match for each other. This book packed a lot into the story so get ready to sit back, enjoy the swoon and read this love story every snd every second of these beautiful characters.
