This is the 3rd and final book in this Austin Singles Series and I absolutely loved it. Blake has always intrigued me and I knew his book would be a good one.
Blake has been in love with Morgan from the moment he met her. She was off limits being his best friends sister but she was also in a relationship. He stays away for years until he can’t anymore. the heart wants what the heart wants.
After they meet up at a bar unexpectedly on a night when they are both broken and just wanting to drown their sorrows, Blake is shocked when he receives a proposal from Morgan for one night of no-strings attached sex. How could he refuse but the problem is that one night will never be enough!
The chemistry between them was palpable and off the charts ref hot. I loved watching their relationship change from denial into much more. The just need to survive their pasts coming back to haunt them.
Great conclusion to a fantastic series
What can I say? Ms. Elliott has done it again. There is just something about her writing that grabs you, drags you in, holds on, and never let’s go until the very end. Blake and Morgan are no different. They were perfect. And I love hallways getting inside glimpses into the other lives we know and love! This series is one of my favorites that is for sure!
I absolutely love everything that Kelly Elliott writes. Adore Me is the third and final book in her Austin Singles series. I do recommend reading this series in order to get the full effect of all the amazing characters.
Morgan and Blake have been attracted to each other for many years but have never acted on their feelings. The main reason is because Blake’s best friend is Morgan’s older brother Nash. They decide to give one night of no strings attached sex a try but neither of them were prepared for the aftermath of that one night. Will these two be able to let go of their past issues and give a relationship a try? Can Blake convince his best friend that he will take care of his little sister and keep his promise to never hurt her?
I loved the connection between Blake and Morgan. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. I really enjoyed catching up with the characters from the previous books. I can’t wait to see what Kelly is working on next!
Kelly Elliott does it again with the last in the Austin singles series.
I just love every book in this series, and also what this author writes x
(Adore Me.) And adore this book, I did!! *swoon* I have really enjoyed this series and I enjoyed getting Morgan and Blake’s story. This was SUCH a sweet, friends to lovers read. Kelly writes in such a way that I was completely captivated and she gave me ALL. THE. FEELS! I enjoyed how the chapters flipped from each of their perspectives and the chemistry between them was palpable! If you’ve read the series, these are not new characters, so it was fun finally getting their story, plus seeing characters from the previous books. This was a book that was equal parts, couldn’t read quickly enough and didn’t want it to be over. I ADORED this book and might have to do a reread because it was just THAT good! Be sure not to miss it.
Being attracted to and/or falling in love with your best friend’s younger sister is definitely not an easy situation, so it makes sense why there’s an adamant struggle to contain those feelings, working to never act on them for fear of what could happen if things didn’t work out.
But as difficult as it is, it’s one of my favorite tropes to read because, as someone on the outside looking in, I’m privy to just how deeply these two characters feel about each other and why it’s worth the risk of ruining a friendship or even breaking a heart because those feelings felt just might lead them to their happily ever after.
In the previous two books in Kelly Elliott’s Austin Singles series, readers have learned the loss that Morgan Barrett is dealing with, but because she wasn’t the main characters of those stories, all we had were secondhand insights, so her vulnerability, her grief, her guilt, and her inability to move past what happened weren’t present, but now, in Adore Me, we understand the reasons for Morgan’s struggle and all of the emotions that seem to weigh her down, in ways that she can’t truly break free from.
Readers familiar with this series also know who Blake is, and now that he’s the hero of Adore Me, Elliott dives into all that he is beneath his easy going, playboy demeanor. And what we learn is that a particular event in Blake’s past defined how he lived his life for quite some time, and because he never truly faced what happened and how it changed the dynamics of his life, it makes sense that he would choose to live in a way that wouldn’t provide any further pain, but what he also learned, thanks to those around him finding their perfect match, is that he deserves to have a love like theirs and now that he’s back where Morgan is, he’s ready to act on what he feels for her, even if the reason things start between them is technically a proposition from Morgan that he refuses to turn down.
Blake and Morgan have bought fight their attraction to each other because there never seemed to be a significant amount of time to see where their desires for one another could take them, but now that they’re back in the same town and still harboring strong feelings for each other, they have a chance to see if what they feel can go the distance, and despite their respective pasts and the tension that might be created with a certain older brother, with all of the pain and heartache that Blake and Morgan have dealt with, they deserve their shot at happiness, and I’m so damn glad they took it.
What I adore about series with standalone stories is that authors allow readers to reconnect with past main characters – those individuals who we witnessed fight for love – so the fact that we get to catch up with them and see what’s happening in their lives makes everything seem like it comes full circle and for the hopeless romantic in me gaining that insight makes each hero and heroine’s story more complete.
And this is exactly what Kelly Elliott gives readers at the end of her Austin Singles series, which means that Nash and Kaelynn, and Tucker and Charlie, along with Blake and Morgan are all present to bring this amazing collection of stories to its conclusion, and I have loved every minute of being with these characters and Elliott’s amazing storytelling.
4.5 Poison Apples
Kelly Elliott is back with the next book in the Austin Singles series, that is sure to make you laugh, cry, have your heart ripped out! And you thank her for doing it. But on a serious note, this book is a little darker than some as it deals with suicide and the PTSD of the people who are left behind. But that is one of the things that I really enjoy with a Kelly Elliott book, she writes about real life, she doesn’t shy away from the tough subjects, which you can tell she has researched thoroughly, doesn’t skim over the subject, but delves in and makes it real.
Adore Me is the story of a guy called Blake, who walks into a bar and meets a girl called Morgan, who just happens to be from his past, a girl he shouldn’t touch, but one he has always loved, even when he shouldn’t. This book is full of secrets, lies, hidden love, pain, death and hope for a new beginning! And it is one that I fell in love with, and it totally on my Paperback buy list!
This author blows me away with each story she write. Adore Me was an amazing book to read I didn’t put it down till the end. Morgan and Blake each hide the turmoil from their pass but he has always been drawn to her. The problem is she is one of his best friends little sister. It’s taboo but with the feels he has for her its hard for him to stay away. One proposal by Morgan changes everything. These two have a whirlwind of a relationship you for sure what to read.
Adore me is the 3rd and final book in this series.
*sobs* *cries*…. *cries some more*
I’ve loved reading this series so much and the characters were so darn amazing.
But this book has got to be my absolute favourite out of all three of them. I love Morgan & Blake’s story so much.
I liked Blake in the very first book. He was fun and was a little bit of a manwhore haha. But I still liked him. But this book I just fell in love with him. He was sweet, fun, caring, made me swoon and made me cry.
When you find out his story I literally ugly cried so much. My poor bloody heart. It just broke for him like completely shattered(Damn you Kelly for making me ugly cry like that lol. But I still love you though).
You find out about what happened to Morgans Fiancé in the other books and seriously I felt so sad for her. But in this book my heart hurt for her. She feels guilty over what happened to her Fiancé. Then she’s dropped a big bombshell.
I cried sad tears, then happy tears, swooned at how sweet and caring Blake was and those sex scenes were damn hot I tell ya.
Kelly is once again amazing and has brought another fantastic book out. Well done lovey xx
Adore Me is the third book in the Austin Singles Series and follows the story of Morgan and Blake. Their story is one of my favorite troupes, best friends sister. I love the touch of taboo and tension those kind of stories have, and Adore Me does not disappoint.
From the moment I picked up Adore Me, I was intrigued by Morgan and Blake. The tension between the two of them was absolutely delicious and I just could not wait to see where their story would go. The road to happily ever after for these two was not an easy one. It was riddled with lots of ups and downs and drama along the way. Blake was far from perfect and was quick to make some mistakes. I liked how open and honest Blake & Morgan were with one another. They worked through their issues and tried super hard to put their demons to rest.
Adore Me was a quick and easy read that left me devouring all the words. I loved the push and pull and the touches of angst. I loved the sexy and steamy moment between Blake & Morgan. And I adored watching Blake fight for the woman he wanted. All in all, a sweet romance that delivered everything I was looking for with a few little twists along the way.
All that being said, I did have one issue with this book and it is the reason I can’t rate this book more than 4 stars. My issue was with the drama. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love drama and conflict within a story as long as it makes sense and adds to the story. And in my opinion, this story could have easily been wrapped up at the 60% or so mark. This is where my issue comes into play. At 65% or so, we are introduced to a character named Jarod. Now, here me out. I do see and understand why he was introduced and how he connects with the story, but honestly, I could have done without him. Again, I get why he was added, but I honestly feel like what he brought to the story was totally unnecessary and could have been done with out. His presence just really turned me off and is something I really struggled with because I was so in love with this story.
Overall, I found Adore Me to be a great romance. I loved the characters and enjoyed getting swept up in their story. I did have some issues with some of the drama that was added to the story, but in the end I fell head over heels in love with Adore Me and was left with a big smile on my face.
Adore Me (Austin Singles #3) by Kelly Elliott.
This is the third book in this series. I have read many books by Ms. Elliott and I have fallen in love with each and every one.
The attraction between Blake and Morgan is electric. Blake knows that Morgan is totally off limits but sometimes the heart wants and needs what is knows it shouldn’t have. When they both agree to just one night, they know that there is no way that it will be enough. The only issue is the past….. will it be able to stay where it belongs or will the past come and destroy everything.
I absolutely love this author and I can not wait to see what else is in store for us!!!!!!!
Blake and Morgan deserve all the stars! Oh my gosh! I probably looked exactly like the heart eye emoji the vast majority of the time I was reading this. At least when I wasn’t crying, gasping or fanning myself. Kelly Elliott gives us the sweetest of romances while also grabbing you with some jaw dropping twists. There wasn’t enough money in the world to have gotten me to put this one down while I was reading.
Morgan has always been hands off for Blake since she’s his best friend’s little sister, but the heart wants what the heart wants and after years of loving her from afar when she comes to him there’s just no more holding back. These two had that kind of chemistry that could go from sweet and heartwarming to explosive heat with just a look. You could feel how much they belonged together and how connected they were on every level.
This story captivated me from the very first page to the very last line, I couldn’t put this book down because I needed to know if Morgan and Blake got the HEA they so deserved.
Adore Me is the final book in the Austin Singles Series and yes I’m sad to see this series come to an end but this story was the perfect ending, we not only got to know Blake and Morgan as a night of passion turns into so much more we also got to see what Charlie, Tucker, Katelyn and Bash are up to in their life’s.
Adore Me is a sweet entertaining read that’s the perfect mix of love, romance, humour and just the right amount of drama, the characters have sizzling chemistry and the banter flows so naturally. This author certainly knows how to give her fans the perfect reads and Adore Me is just that perfection so please do yourself a favour and one click this must read.
All hail Queen Kelly!!! As sad as I am that this series is coming to an end, it went out with a bang through this book! Blake and Morgan both went through tragedy, and each year, they take a day to mourn and feel the emotions and impact of that tragedy. While they know of each other’s tragedy, neither know the true reason nor that they both go to the same bar to mourn, until now. When Blake realizes Morgan is at the bar and for what reason, he takes it as a sign to essentially shoot his shot. The two have always had feelings towards each other, but neither has ever acted on them until now. With all the feelings and emotions getting misconstrued between each other, they finally just put almost everything on the table and decide to spend time together in secret. But as more misunderstandings continue to happen and the relationship between the two comes out, the question will remain if the two can make it through and together after finding out their connection and secrets. Be prepared for the range of emotions, especially after finding out the connection between the two and Blake’s past! I loved the underlying theme of comedy within this book. The misunderstandings that continue to happen throughout the book gave the storyline that extra bit that made it more enjoyable than the average romance. While I’m sad that this series is over, I can’t wait to see what Kelly brings next!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
While I really enjoyed the first two books in the Austin Singles series, I absolutely LOVED Adore Me. Kelly Elliott is one of my absolute favorites, and she’s my go to author for sweet and sexy romance. Adore me is a contemporary romance and I loved every swoonworthy bit of it.
I loved Blake and Morgan’s story from the very first page. Their chemistry was undeniable and every one around them could sense it. But Blake always held back because Morgan is his best friend’s sister. They’ve both suffered heartbreaking losses and one fateful night sets their relationship in motion.
I truly ADORED watching their relationship come to light, seeing them fight for what their hearts wanted. Watching Morgan and Blake overcoming their heartbreak and dealing with secrets thrown their way was inspiring. Adore Me was full of laughs and love, drama, angst and heartbreak. It was great to catch up with the crew from the first two books as well. A fantastic end to a sweet romantic series.
Somehow or another I missed Kelly Elliott’s Austin Singles series until reading the very last installment, Adore Me. What is awesome about Elliott’s series is that you absolutely can read each and every story as a standalone and hop in wherever the storyline strikes you. Which is exactly what I did with Blake and Morgan’s story.
I’m a true sucker for a best friends little sister trope and no one writes them better the Elliott. Eh,eh, WANTED. So of course it was a no brainer to one click yet another BFF lil sis storyline from Elliott. Once again, she made me remember why her novels are set apart from others on the shelves.
In Adore Me, Elliott pairs Blake and Morgan together. Very quickly, I found out that Blake is the best friend to Tucker and Nash and has been keeping a close lid on his feelings for Morgan for years. As Nash’s younger sister, Morgan is off limits. Or is she? Morgan decided she wants a one night, no strings fling with Blake. Can he resist? What happens when one night changes everything?
Well you are going to have to one click and see! I’m not gonna give away all of Elliott’s wonderful written secrets! If you are a first time reader to this author, I will tell you that she is addictive. Her characters become real souls in your heart and she makes them unforgettable each and every series. Austin Singles appears to be yet another series that will weave it’s way into my heart.
Adore Me is the third title in the Austin Singles series, and features Blake and Morgan. Each of these titles are interconnected standalones with Blake and Moran both appearing in Seduce Me, Tucker and Charlie’s story and Entice Me, Nash and Kaelynn’s story.
This pair of characters are survivors. Both Morgan and Blake are complex and endearing characters. They have both survived trauma, guilt, grief and loss of losing someone that they loved and it’s left them struggling to form lasting and meaningful relationships.
Morgan is Nash’s younger sister and is vulnerable and insecure after the loss of her fiancée, Blake has been drawn to her for years, but considers her forbidden fruit. Their story is full of heat, heart, steam and passion told in a dual point of view. The chemistry and connection they share is undeniable and despite their best efforts to fight their attraction, they are inexplicably drawn to each other.
I highly recommend not only Adore Me but the whole Austin Singles series, I’ve adored each book in this sweet, sexy and emotional series and cannot wait to see what Kelly Elliot writes next.
Blake and Morgan deserve to be together, yet circumstances conspire to keep them apart. Will they ever get their chance at forever? Elliott is my kind of author. The poet in me, loves a good back story and Kelly Elliott delivers everytime. Only by understanding the drama of the past, can the foundation of a future be found. Morgan and Blake are a powder keg of past hurts, present misunderstandings and powerful chemistry. That emotion breathes life into the heart of their story. Out of angst comes drama. Drama breeds fire. Fire makes for compelling and compelling keeps the journey interesting. Adore Me earns it’s title of heartbreaker. Ms. Elliott taps into emotion with a fierceness that energizes and engages the heart. I love the way she writes.
I absolutely “adore” Blake! This book is a sweet read. You know when you just NEED a sweet book, well this series is the one to go to. Especially this one. Blake and Morgan have been through so much but have more in common then they know.
When they just can’t keep their hands off each other will it be more than what they were expecting? Will it be too much or not enough? When feelings come into play, will one of them want more than the other is willing to give?
These two have a lot to work through and I was on their emotional journey with them. I swooned, I laughed, and read through my tears.

If there ever was a series where friendships and love can grow then Kelly Elliott and her Austin Singles is the one to go to. I loved that Blake is not who he wants everybody to see but so much more. We see a man who is still haunted from the past yet trying to be the man Morgan needs. Have to say he is my favorite book boyfriend readers will swoon just on the first chapter of him. It was great to see everybody from the previous book in here and Morgan being well loved. All in all this was more than just a woman being loved but one seeing that she deserves so much more. Loved it and once again readers will love Blake more in here.
