From Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best Selling Author Vivian WoodIt started innocently enough. Beautiful Harper gave Sean those eyes… those eyes that meant, yes, take me. But Harper didn’t know Sean’s secrets… She didn’t know that he liked it rough.More than rough. He liked to dominate. To punish. To degrade. It was the only way that the black hole in his soul wouldn’t swallow him up. He … black hole in his soul wouldn’t swallow him up.
He would push her a little too far, and she would run. They all ran, eventually.
But that’s not what happened… when he put his hands around her throat and squeezed, Harper moaned. When he told her to stay away, she didn’t listen, misbehaving until she got spanked. When he took out the handcuffs, there was excitement in her eyes, mixed with a little fear.
The doe-eyed redhead liked it. More than that, she wanted it. She said so, time and again.
That’s the thing about sexy strangers, though… you never know what they’re hiding. And Harper is carrying a burden so heavy that even Sean’s secrets pale in comparison.
This book is Book 1 out of 2 in the Addicted To You duet. At approximately 50,000 words, it ends in a cliffhanger. As a dark romance, it touches several sensitive topics, but contains no cheating. Book 2 will end in a happily ever after.

Addiction spirals oneself and can affect you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Addictions are not only Dr*GS and Alcoh*l, it can be brought on by any choice; lifestyle included.
Harper and Sean, both addicts, find their clear and grounding moments when with one another. Slowly becoming a Dom and his sub as well as romantically involved. Just as they find themselves becoming comfortable with each other, their lives throw them apart.
I didn’t have the best first impression of Sean. He was too crude for my tastes. But with Harper he was a completely different person. He seemed fake to me because of that. I loved the amusement park. It was a super fun date. And I liked the club. It was more diverse than any others I’ve read about. I especially appreciated the area where men were only allowed to watch. For the most part, I don’t really ship our main couple. Harper’s storyline kept me engaged the most. But I agree with Sean when he says that Harper is too good to put up with everything he puts her through. And now he’s about to put her through so much more.
This is book 1 in a set of 2, so please be prepared for a cliffhanger. This book is completely addictive and you will be not want to put it down and it will keep you wanting book 2 like now. Both Sean and Harper have their own addictions they are battling and their new budding relationship will either help or make matters worse. I’ll keep you guessing so you get the book. This is a well written story that seems so true to life, the characters are fabulous and this should be on your TBR or one click today, it’s that good. I am so looking forward to book 2. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Sean and Harper are in a rollercoaster of a relationship. Both have issues that they keep from each other. Very steamy senes. Always prefer my heroines to be careful and use condoms, especially when not really knowing someone’s past – that is not the case in this story.
I just couldn’t get into Addiction. Maybe this shouldn’t have been the first book to read by this author because I was less than entertained. I never got into the story or the characters. They both are battling some serious issues and are finding coping mechanisms in each other which is beyond unhealthy. They ignore the obvious things that aren’t right about one another and just get lost in one another. I usually love reading about characters battling serious issues, but I don’t know what it is about this book that turned me off. The writing was good, the story was not to my personal liking.
Holy shit! What a book. Addiction is so much more than just about two people and sex. This story is about two people with major problems but find themselves together and are able to forget those troubles even for a night. But as we all know we can never forget or runaway from our issues.
This story is freaking wonderful and I could not put it down. I can’t wait for the next one!
The title of this book says it all and it’s a really good read, Sean and Harper has serious addictions & secrets in their own personal life they seem so unlikely as a couple, I definitely need to read part 2!!
Sean meets Harper when she walks into the tattoo parlor he works at with a group of girls. He is instantly attracted to her. Although they both have their past demons they battle them together in an interesting way. Will Sean and Harper’s relationship last or will their demons destroy them? Addiction is a dark, raw, sexy romance and book one of the Addicted To You duet. I can’t wait to read the next book to find out if Sean and Harper can survive their addictions and stay together. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster. I love that the author isn’t afraid to take on these tough subjects. A well written book, well developed characters and a great story make this a must read.

Addiction: A Perfect Title to a Perfect Book
Addiction absolutely took my breath away! I do not have words to describe what an amazing and true to life storyline Miss Wood has in her newest release. It’s an absolute 5 star MUST READ!
Sean is a recovering alcoholic with 6 months sobriety under his belt, as well as almost a year since an accident that lead him down the road to recovery. His living a simply life he prefers when along with comes a gaggle of girls into the tattoo shop where he works.
Harper is among the group of young ladies coming in for tattoos, and she immediately grabs Sean’s attention. She doesn’t seem like the rest of the girls, wanting tramp stamps, and butterflies, etc. She is more quiet and reserved. Sean ends up inviting himself to a party that’s taking place at Harper’s home when she seems to not want to attend it herself.
Their slowly budding relationship is full of highs and lows and they both learn about themselves and each other.
If you are a fan of romance, angst, or Miss Wood, or just curious about the title, you definitely need to check out this book. I will be recommending to my own friends and family, don’t miss out on this one! Remember this is part of the “His And Hers” world, and not one of these books have been a disappointment!
This was a very interesting book. Good, but interesting. Harper and Sean meet when she walks into the tattoo parlor that he works at. She isn’t like the other girls she comes in with and Sean is instantly drawn to her. They start out getting to know one another and things start to move faster than they expected. However, Sean has a dark side, and a past that he’s not proud of. He doesn’t think he deserves Harper. But he doesn’t realize that Harper has struggles of her own, and that hers could be far worse than he even are. What I liked about this book is that it dealt with addictions. Alcohol seems to be an addiction that you hear a lot about in books. But eating disorders aren’t something that you normally read a lot about. It’s been awhile since I thought about the struggles of an eating addiction. This isn’t something that you want to just ignore. It makes you think and it really depresses you to think that they are people out there that think these things on a regular basis. As hard as it was to read about I think it really helped keep me reading more. Even more so with that ending. I want to know what is gonna happen, did I mention I dislike cliffhangers? I’m definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Oh and I have to say, I’d really like to punch Harper’s mom… just throwing that out there.
