Stuntman Adam Campbell returns home to Riverbend, Texas, seriously injured in a movie stunt gone wrong. He settles in to heal at his family’s ranch, where his four brothers, famous trick riders, train horses.Adam is stunned to find Bailey Farrell working there–she was the shy girl who’d helped Adam graduate high school so he could run off to Hollywood. Except the budding Bailey, with whom Adam … whom Adam had a brief but intense affair, has blossomed into a beautiful woman. Now the sparks that had once ignited between them threaten to explode.
Adam is beaten-up, broken-down, and has lost his nerve—the stunt that injured him also killed his best friend. The only one he can turn to is Bailey, but will Bailey, who has come back to Riverbend to lick her wounds, be willing to help him again?

Great book
The main duo could be a little frustrating at times, but overall I really enjoyed this. The Campbell family is wonderful and I can’t wait to read about all the rest of them.
Quick easy read. Great characters and inspirational.
Sexy Cowboy with a big but hidden heart!
Everyone loves a happy ending, especially me. Adam & Bailey sent the chemistry meter skyrocketing. Both haunted by their pasts, they will push the other to do the best they can, whether they like it or not. Of course love always wins and the cowboy gets his HEA.
Can’t wait to read the others!
Entertaining and easy read. Somewhat predictable but enjoyable nevertheless.
Loved the characters. Loved the emotional struggle. Loved the ending.
Great read!
I love Jennifer Ashley’s shifter series and her historicals. Not a fan of this book. I couldn’t get through the first third. The characters were flat and Adam was not my favorite. I didn’t feel anything between them. There was too much telling and not enough showing. If I didn’t know better, I’d think a different author wrote this book, that’s how far of a departure it isn’t from her usual style.
True love never dies! A story of returning to the past in order to work out the future. A delightful read!
A very good cowboy/stunt man romance. The heroine’s plot contribution could have involved more of her using her math/coding skills to make her a more rounded character, but she was great without that.
Normally I love Jennifer Ashely’s books. This one was a disappointment. I didn’t feel connected to any of the characters and the story line was weak. I highly recommend all her other books – just not this one.
Wonderful story with great characters! I can’t wait to read the next story in this series!
Love it’s
Loved it! Loved it so much that I bought other books in the series.
Loved it.
Very good.
Great series! Love this family.
I loved this book & bought the next in the series! It’s hard to put down! Try it you will definitely enjoy it!
The story line was more than ok but I get tired of the limited vocabulary for characters. I felt like the F bomb was the word of choice for this book’s dialogue. I don’t believe just because someone was in an accident or is a cowboy, that is the way they would speak.
