No men. It’s exactly what workaholic Lexi Regan needs after a virally famous breakup post. Serially unfortunate in the dating game, she’s seen it all. Players, moochers, all-around losers. Triple check. But one sight she can’t unsee is the model—sans clothes—in her unexpected art class. All it takes is one smirk, one tiny hint of a smile from him, and she remembers why she should avoid sexy men. … men.
Imagine the double-take when she realizes he’s the groomsman opposite her in her cousin’s wedding.
Jack O’Connor has no shortage of admirers, and while casual attention can be fun, it’s quality he fears he’ll never find in a woman. He might be prepared to survive a wedding out of town, but he isn’t ready to face the blushing beauty from the drawing class he’d starred in after losing a bet. Unsure of what to make of the feisty woman now at his side, he’s tempted to learn more about her. The more he learns, the more he hopes that first impressions aren’t the only ones that matter…

Across From You By Amabel Daniels is a wonderfully written romantic comedy that I had a hard time putting down once I started reading. This is Lexi and Jack’s story. Lexi is a woman who has sworn off men and is trying to guard her heart But then she meets Jack. Jack is looking for love and can’t stop thinking about her. Will she give Jack a chance to win her heart?can he convince her that he wants a relationship with her? Will these two get their HEA? I highly recommend reading this book especially if you want to know what happens next .I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
Being dump in public is not cool but luckily not all guys have the same taste in women. A well written sweet and steamy story with likeable characters that have a great chemistry. Written in dual POV which gives a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters to the reader and brings the story closer.
I’ll Be Sitting “Across From You” Till My Dying Days…

Across From You is a Romantic Comedy that will have you laughing out loud until the last page. I really enjoyed Jack and Lexi’s story and I loved the way the author had them meet for the first time. The writing is great and the characters are funny and believable. I found myself cheering for Jack and Lexi and hoping they would get their HEA.
Amorous, humor and emtional moments along with great plot that allows the characters and storyline to blend together nicely. Knocked out of the park that I really appreciate
This is one of those stories that I started highlighting funny lines and then realized I would be highlighting a lot so I just sat back and enjoyed the story.
Here are a few of my faves:
“Being on time had always been an unreachable talent, like completing Sudoku puzzles or avoiding chiropractic aid after yoga.”
“If functioning like Inspector Gadget was an Olympic sport, I’d nab gold – if I made it on time to the event, of course.”
“Premenopausal Elsa gifting us cold flashes instead of hot.”
Funny stuff.
This book is absolutely a rom-com full of lively banter, great friendships and romantic gestures. The lead female is definitely someone I would like to be friends with. She has quick wit, loyalty, and even though she’s late for everything else – she has an amazing work ethic. Then there is Jack. A hot cop who isn’t going to settle for a random hookup. He has values and trusts his instincts.
I really enjoyed this quick and easy romance and was able to read it cover to cover in a few hours. If you are looking for something to escape into, I absolutely recommend ACROSS FROM YOU!
I loved this book! This author had me pulled right into the story from the beginning. It is a fast paced story that I read in one sitting. The characters, Lexi and Jack made me laugh but also felt compassion for Lexi. She had a bad break up on social media then to make things worse the model in her art class is the same man standing across from her at her cousin’s wedding. I found myself hoping they would get their happy ending. Their story is a must read!
Across from you by Amabel Daniels is a fun and entertaining read that kept a smile on my face the whole way through.
Regan has sworn off all men. After her last breakup she knows it is the right decision. But when she sees the sexy guy modelling in her art class she can’t help but be interested.
When she meets Jack again in an even more unexpected place it is maybe time to explore their chemistry a little more.
I found this book to be so entertaining. More than once I laughed at Lexi and Jack. Their interactions were all brilliant. The way it was written helped to make the book fun and humorous but is also had a good story that keeps you engaged. And overall great book.

The story Across From You by Amabel Daniels is a romantic comedy. It is a story that had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put down until I had read the final page. It has me with a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart when reading about Lexi Regan and Jack O’Connor. They are two characters that are a pleasure to read about. Lexi is a woman who has been embarrassed and hurt by a public post that has gained her unwanted attention. She has sworn off men as she tries to guard her heart against further pain. Then she meets Jack. Jack is a guy that is looking for love. He finds that since he met Lexi that he can’t stop thinking about her or wanting to pursue her. I really enjoyed the way that Lexi and Jack banter back and forth with each other. Their interactions can be humorous and also show much about how they feel about each other and themselves. There is chemistry between these two and they can’t stop thinking about each other. After what she has been through will Lexi give Jack a chance to win her heart or will he only disappoint her? Will Jack be able to convince Lexi that he wants to pursue a relationship with her? Read this book to find out. This is a wonderfully written story. It has some other amazing characters that I enjoyed reading about their part in the story and also their interactions with Lexi and Jack. All the way through I was rooting for Lexi and Jack to find their way into each other’s hearts and fall in love. Will it happen? Will they get an HEA? Don’t miss out on a wonderful story and one that I recommend reading.

Reading Across From You is a very enjoyable way to spend a lazy afternoon. Amabel Daniels mixes just the right amount of humor with a really cute story-line. Lexi first sees Jack when he poses nude for an art class, how much more awkward of a situation could it put her in when she finds out that he is standing opposite her in her cousins wedding. This one was a lot of fun to read and had me snickering several times, but it does get some spice to it also… Enjoy
I found this book to be a very enjoyable and entertaining read that I just could not put down until I finished reading the very last page! The storyline was well written and the characters were very likable, believable and engaging which kept me totally enthralled until the very last page!
This story will have you laughing and cheering for Lexi and Jack. She was humiliated thanks to her ex who broke up with her via social media and if that’s not enough she agrees to go to an arts class and is mortified by the male model who smirks at her. Can her life go down any further. When Jack agreed to stand in as a bridegroom he never expected he would see the brunet from the art class standing next to him. This story is filled with drama and laughs that will captivate you until the last page.

Lexi finished with men
Drawing one does not count.
Jack no shortage of the female kind.
But the one who sees the real him has no intrest.
Being thrown together over and over is not helping.
Maybe just a taste.
Well that was quick, no to turn this into something real.

Every moment of this book was amazing, I laughed until I cried. Loved it, definitely recommend.
I love a great story with some humor in it. This is a lighthearted read that was perfect for a summer read.
Lexi and Jack are great characters. When the first meet Lexi can’t seem to forget Jack only problem is she doesn’t even know his name!
When she get paired up for her cousins wedding, she realises it’s Jack! The feelings of lust are completely mutual and seemingly the get off to a great start until a holiday and problem phone service throw a spanner in the works!
I really enjoyed reading this book.
I could relate so much to Lexi. We’re both always late, awkward, and prone to blush. I think she holds her filter better than I do, although some of her one-liners were hilarious. The attraction was fast and very insta between she and Jack, and once they let it happen the chemistry was off the charts.
This was such a cute and hilarious book! I loved Jack and Lexi! They may have met in a very awkward moment and keep having more but it was fate for them. I will say that someone needs to set Bev(Lexi’s cousin and Jack’s cop partner) straight cause she was a basket case and had judged Jack harsh. He wasn’t at all what she thought he was. She also had the extreme to the max wedding planner. Man I would have hated to be apart of that wedding party.
Back to Jack and Lexi, despite being thrown together they made the most of it. Jack made Lexi forget about being a viral laughing stock while nerding out and well having sex. These two were a match made in heaven, honestly. I loved every part of this book!!
