Rylee and Colton’s ride continues…
One moment. Six years ago.
The night she made the world around me so much more than just a blur. Now it’s the catalyst that threatens to tear us apart.
Our happily was supposed to be ever after. So why do I feel like it’s slipping through my fingers?
How can one moment, when our world seemed so right, resurface and cause our perfect life to spiral out of … right, resurface and cause our perfect life to spiral out of control?
I can’t lose her.
She’s my checkered flag.
(Reading Order: Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced is optional, and then Aced. Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, and Hard Beat are standalone Driven novels that can be read on their own and in any order.)

This series is amazing! This story takes a single incident from Rylee and Colton’s past and brings it back to haunt them. These characters have come so far in their relationship and built a wonderful life together. Can their past tear them apart now? As in all the books in this series this one takes you all over the map emotionally. You are so invested in the lives of Rylee and Colton that you just can’t put the book down. I highly recommend this series. It is the kind you keep to reread again and again.
#1 series and book author
The first chapter in this book made my eyes water with emotion… I felt like I was home. Never in my history of reading romance has a series ever made me feel emotionally attached to two characters such as Colton and Rylee, I wish their story would never end and there are some many other characters in Aced that need their own story. Thank you K.Bromberg for giving readers exactly what they wanted in this book, a baby and Zander and a great insight into PND, there are no words to describe the brilliance of this book in the series. Narrated by Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden who ARE the voice of Colton and Rylee.
More than a 5 stars read!!!! It will grab you from the first sentence and hold you to the last period. A Colton Experience!!! I loved how this story comes full circle. Expect the unexpected.. Colton Donovan does NOT disappoint! Highly recommend reading this, but only if you finished the Driven Trilogy. Grab your checkered flag, because Colton WILL claim it.
Colton and Rylee are BACK!!!!
I don’t know if words can fully express how much I LOVED this book! Kristy Bromberg not only delivered a captivating continuation of Colton and Rylee’s story (and did MAJOR justice to her beloved characters without tarnishing their story for us DRIVEN fans), but she also made the book completely relatable on SO MANY levels.
From day 1 of hearing that us DRIVEN fans were FINALLY going to get more of Colton and Rylee, I was driven to read it ASAP and *beg on bended knees* for our blog to receive an arc…well my prayers were answered!! *happy dance*.
As an avid reader, I am constantly struck with the craving for MORE from my characters. I want to know what happens AFTER their HEA’s. And Kristy brought us just that! ACED is a continuation of Colton and Rylee’s story AFTER their HEA. It is all about the ups and downs of life and marriage and how they survived it all. There were parts where I had a HUGE smile on my face bc I was so consumed with happiness for them and then there were times I had tears running down my face bc I could physically feel their pain coming off of the pages. Kristy delivered an emotionally packed novel and pulled on ALL my heartstrings <3
There’s just something about revisiting favorite characters. I was always curious about how Colton and Rylee continued to keep a happy marriage and how they dealt with the day to day issues. “Remember, son, marriage isn’t about how madly in love you are through the good times, but how committed you are to each other in the bad times.” –Andy. Kristy portrayed just that…the commitment, the love, the bad times and the good times…ALL OF IT…she showed that yes, they may be “bent” at times, but they are indeed not broken. (You’ll understand that reference if you read the series).
To read about Colton’s growth as a character was probably my favorite part of this book. He has come SO FAR since we first met him in DRIVEN. Yes, he still has his demons that he battles bc let’s be real, those never really go away, those are a part of him no matter what, but it was beautiful to see this reckless rebel finally feeling complete and finding his everything that he never knew he wanted. One scene, that’s all it took (nail polish, that’s all I’m saying *wink*) for me to fall DEEPER in love with Colton.
This book was like coming home for me. I started reading this series a little of a year ago and it STILL is one of my top favorite series (and I’ve read TONS of books since then). This book is exactly the reason why I read romance novels, I want it all…the crashes, the burns, the bent and the broken, the piece of peace, and the HEA’s. Colton and Rylee’s journey has taken me through all those things and I LOVED every min. This is a love story that survives the test of time and is ever-lasting <3 Kristy Bromberg ACED this story! *wink*

A note from Kristy:
You know the ending already as ACED takes place in a 5-6 month time span between the last chapter of Crashed and its dual epilogue...but you don't know what happened in that ten year gap nor have you heard anything about this story per se.
The chase is over. The cocky racer already has the girl. So what is he like as a married man? What happens when they face the unexpected and the consequences of it cause a butterfly effect greater than ever imagined?
Aced is about marriage.
It's about how things happen out of your control and how you adjust, how you step up to the plate, or how you run away.
It's about still having that type of never-ending love even when you are angry at the other spouse.
It's about protecting what's yours even when you're not sure how to.
It's about growth. As a person. As a spouse. As a couple.
It's about family. In all of its typical and atypical meanings.
Will there be emotion and hot sex and swoon worthy moments and times you are frustrated with the characters? Of course. Isn't that why you fell in love with them in the first place? What's the point of taking the ride if there aren't a few potholes along the way?
But what I will promise you is that when you finish the last page, you'll remember exactly why you fell in love with Rylee and Colton and their motley brood of boys (among other characters) in the first place. It will feel like coming home again - a short visit with those you love - and when you leave them, it will be with a fuller heart and a smile on your face.
