I was so happy to hear we were getting the second generation of the kids from “The Wind Dragons MC” mixed with the new series, “The Cursed Ravens MC” by Chantal Fernando 🙂
I found this story entertaining and the main characters, Erin & Ace were perfectly made for each other. They were both loyal, strong-willed, determined and fiercely protective of their loved ones and friends 🙂
This story has a little bit of everything and to be honest, there were times that it had me on the edge of my seat from the suspense scenes and there were some twists and surprises that I was definitely not expecting at all but at the end, it all worked out for these two lovers 😉
I liked every moment of reading this and I can’t wait for you guys to read it too when it goes live on June 11th; you’ll love Erin’s sassiness, her boldness and determination and Ace’s moral & loyal compass & his fierce protectiveness over Erin is hot and endearing at the same time <3 it's also mixed with hot possessiveness not crazy possessiveness too, lol. He was also tender when she needed it and strong and hardheaded when she needed it too. I think that Ace was the perfect match for Erin, the unknown but discovered MC Princess of The Cursed Ravens MC 🙂 <3
I also loved how Erin's family at the end scene, were amicable towards each other, thanking one another for taking care of Erin and I loved that because it showed that their love for Erin was much stronger than their pride and ego.
Can't wait to see who's story is next and I'm dying to find out what happened to Clover (Who's parents are Faye & Dex aka MC club name Sin from the first book of the Wind Dragons, which is "Dragon's Lair: Wind Dragons MC Book 1" to want to have some distance from her family... We shall see 😉
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
Erin is 21 years old and just finds out that her life is a lie, well most of it anyway. The man she has known as her father isn’t her father at all. And she is on the doorstep of the place where her dad lives and she is not sure she should be here. Not only is there a loud party going on but it is a motorcycle club to boot. So she walks right in like she belongs and demands to see Gage. When one of the bikers grabs her like she might be there to cause damage, she is taken to him. She can’t believe what she sees, he is in a room with a naked woman asleep behind him. And he can’t believe what she is telling him.
Ace notices the innocent girl when she first walks in and wonders why she is here. When he finds out she is the club president’s daughter, this princess is off limits. He is drawn to her and she isn’t making it easy to stay away from her. Ace is tasked with keeping Erin safe and the more they spend together the closer they become. Until she overs a conversation between Gage and Ace that has her running back home.
Will Erin learn the truth about the conversation and forgive Gage and Ace? Who at the club is trying to get rid of Erin and why? Can Erin and Ace make a future together? Will she forgive her parents for the lie they kept from her most of her life?
This is a really good story that had me glued to my kindle and turning the pages to find out what happens next and I can’t believe this is a first for me from this author but it will not be the last. I can’t wait for more from this series.

“I wish your personality was as nice as your ass.”
I’m a big fan of the author’s Wind Dragons MC series so needless to say seeing that she was starting a new MC series had me very excited. I really enjoyed this lighthearted story. Yes, you read it right, this isn’t one of her deep, dark, twisted stories with damaged characters. This is told in Erin’s POV, so we only get her take on things. She’s a 21 yr old good girl who just learned the man she was raised to call Dad was actually her stepfather. She accidentally discovered her birth certificate and saw an unfamiliar name listed as her biological father. When she confronts her mother, she learns he’s a biker.
So, get ready to be entertained by the good-girl-gone-bad as she is exposed to the motorcycle club lifestyle. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not timid or quiet. She’s sassy and without a filter. I found it hilarious that she kept speaking her thoughts out loud without realizing it until someone would answer her. She’s always kinda felt like the black sheep of her family and it becomes more understandable after she meets her father, the president of The Cursed Ravens MC. It explains why she is so different from her sister in both appearance and attitude.
Seeing the club members through her eyes as she tries to figure things out is fun. She pretty much became the club princess as soon as she stepped foot through the clubhouse doors. And that doesn’t exactly go over so well with the other females who don’t want the competition. After being deprived of her father’s attention for her whole life, she’s not happy about having to share him with other women. And when she looks across the room and sees Ace for the first time, with a club whore on either side, she doesn’t like that either. At that point, she doesn’t even know his name, but he has her attention.
Ace knew that she was trouble with that first look. But what he wasn’t expecting was to learn that she was the daughter of his president and off-limits. As we all know, being told something is forbidden makes it that much more tempting, right? Get ready for some serious sexual tension as these two lust after each other. Her internal dialogue was priceless, and one of my favorites was, “He used the word respect, but all I want is some fuckin’ disrespect from him right now. Until we leave the bed, at least, then I can go back to being his princess.” Will they risk the wrath of the president to be together?
Woo Hoo! Meeting this new club of badass bikers was a treat. The witty banter was non-stop and Erin joined right in with them. I couldn’t stop smiling as I read their encounters. As always with the beginning of a new series, the author has to lay the groundwork and let us get to know the characters. I fell hard for most of those sexy bikers and can’t wait to spend more time with them. The line forms here…
An entertaining, fun, sassy and a little suspenseful story. Erin and Ace have a cute friendship that turns into more. I liked their chemistry, and their beautiful connection.

OMG, this was amazing!!! Starting a new MC series, Ace and Erin are up first. When Erin walks into this house that is full of bikers, she has no clue what to expect. All she knows is that her sperm donor is here somewhere and she is intent on meeting him. The world that opens up for Erin is one she never thought she would ever be. While the meeting with her father didn’t exactly go the way Erin had hoped, it wasn’t horrible either. Now that the Princess is home, the word is out that she is off limits from the members, but there is one member that Erin is willing so see just how far he will bend that rule. But what happens when that rule gets broken? Will they both regret it in the light of day?
This story had me from the first page, and didn’t let go until the last word! This was an amazing MC read, that had everything you could want in it. Drama, danger, steaming hot sexy times, and even a cameo from Clover (so had a cheesy smile for that). This is a 5 star read all the way and I am soo ready for the next in this series!

This is my first read by Chantal Fernando and I really enjoyed it. Small town girl, Erin, goes into the city to find the father she never knew about. A father who just happens to be the President of a motorcycle club: The Cursed Ravens MC. She didn’t quite know what to expect but it wasn’t the sheer amount of drama that her arrival stirs up and the feelings a certain brother called Ace stir up.
Drama, betrayal, sexy times and it was all so, so good. I’ve found another MC author to read now and I need to read Chantal’s other series, Wind Dragons MC, now I think. I can’t wait for book two and I give Ace of Hearts 5 stars.
This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased, honest opinion.
Sooo good! I’m really happy that I gave this book a chance. I love motorcycle romances and this one did not disappoint. I really wish I had the next book in my hand. I read this book in about 1.5 days. I could’ve finished it in one sitting if my eyes would’ve let me.
If you don’t already know, this is a story about a girl, Erin, who finds out her father isn’t her biological father. Come to find out, her father is the president of a motorcycle group. Erin charges into the motorcycle home base and demands to see her father. That takes some serious guts…I loved watching Erin getting to know her father and his mc group. So many times I would bust out laughing and have to close the kindle cover to regroup lol. I LOVE books that make me feel that way.
Erin…..Trouble was a great nickname for her. I had some issues with Erin I will say. I felt she was immature and childish at times. She would throw these fits or make certain comments that would have me shaking my head. There was this quote in the book along the lines of saying she may be bratty and stubborn but her good qualities are worth putting up with the bad. I felt that to be very true. I could overlook her bratty times and focus on her other qualities which truly made up for those few times.
Ace had this swagger that just pulled me in right away. Ladies just flocked to him. He seemed very suave and yet, he didn’t give off player vibes. He admitted to never having cheated on anyone and never intends to. Ace has this code of honor even while being in a MC and all that goes with that.
I fell so hard for the guys in the MC group. I hope they all get their own story and happily ever after. I loved reading about Ace and I’m most looking forward to Rogue’s story which is book three. Overall, I had a blast. Realistically I rate this a 4.5 I just wish Erin wasn’t so bratty at times to give this a full 5 stars.

Ace of Hearts was the first book in Chantal Fernando’s newest series, the Cursed Ravens MC.
Erin Moretti was twenty and just found out that not only was she not raised by her biological father but he didn’t even know she existed. She set off for the Ravens MC clubhouse to find him. Ace was the treasurer of the MC. He was gorgeous, alpha and totally protective of those in his circle.
I liked the premise of the story. It wasn’t a new concept, but I loved the characters and the MC so it was a great way to set the foundation and introduce the key players for the series. It was written from a single POV, Erin’s. She was hilarious, feisty and sassy so it worked well. It also had a suspenseful vibe, which kept me interested. The conclusion was a little shallow, but enjoyable none the less.
In the end, it was a quick, light hearted and suspenseful read. I love the MC themes and it was perfect for my current mood. Next up is Knuckles and I can’t wait!
I just LOVED this story. Erin fearlessly walked right into a MC clubhouse and showed all the sass and bravado she had so she could deal with the onslaught of bikers she faced. From there she was thrust into a world she knew nothing about but it was a world that felt like home.
In just a short amount of time she bonds with badass bikers so easily. Her personality is so easygoing that the guys take to her quickly and their loyalty to her becomes more about how they feel toward her versus her now having the coveting title of club princess.
Erin was so witty, her banter with the guys was funny and cute and sweet. To her these guys were just big teddy bears instead of how they appear to the rest of the world.
And then there’s Ace. They share an instant connection that forms into a friendship and quickly evolved into so much more. And as with any “MC Princess” she’s designated as off-limits to everyone. But, of course, that doesn’t stop her from wanting Ace and vice versa. Erin is strong willed and stubborn and she’s not going to let anyone tell her she can’t be with Ace.
This was such a great read. I fell instantly in love with the characters (especially Rogue and I can’t wait to read his book) that I read it in one sitting. I just couldn’t put it down. This was my very first Chantal Fernando book and I totally loved everything about it. Her writing was superb, the characters were completely likable and her MC world was nearly perfect. It had all the aspects of the whole one percenters vibe without delving into a much darker theme. It was much lighter than the MC books I’ve read and it was a refreshing change of pace. I just loved it.
This is the first book in a new series about an MC. Erin learns that her father is not the man who raised her, but the president of The Cursed Ravens. She meets Ace, an older sexy man through the club. I loved Ace, he is an alpha male. Erin has a lot of growing up to do. All in all a good read. I plan on reading the next book in the series.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.
Wow what a beginning to what is sure to be another addicting series by Chantal Fernando. I loved Erin and Ace’s story from the beginning. The MC really drops the ball and screws up in this book but they sure do make up for it.
I loved Erin and how she charged into the MC and took no crap and just stated that she wanted to see her dad. Not knowing anything about the MC, the roles or anything else she just went after what she wanted. Things get complicated not only with the forbidden attraction she has to Ace but it seems someone doesn’t want her there are do any of them?
This is another must read and I can’t wait for the next in this series!

New series and author for me and while the book was mildly entertaining, it was very formulaic and slightly immaturely written. I found the main character extremely cliché and with many illusions of grandeur. Erin embarks on a journey to find her real father after discovering her untainted birth certificate. Her father turns out to be the president of the motorcycle club, The Cursed Ravens. Erin enters the clubhouse full of bravado and instantly is loved by all the members. Except the women of the club who hate her, which results in a fight and an attempt on Erin’s life. The treasurer falls in love with Erin in the biggest case of insta-love ever. I found it all a bit overdone and same old, same old. But, I didn’t have to DNF (did not finish) and read the entire story, including the predictable epilogue. So all in all, I was entertained but not overly interested.

I was excited to read the first book in The Cursed Ravens MC. I thought the premise sounded interesting and wanted to learn all about the MC along with Erin, but that didn’t really work the way I was hoping.
Erin is a 21-year-old girl who just found out that the father she’s known and grown up with, isn’t her biological dad. As any inquisitive child would do, she goes to meet her biological father! Erin acts much younger than her 21 years. She’s a bit bratty and has very high expectations. Within two hours of showing up at the club, she has all but fallen in love with Ace, and demands her dad’s attention. I’m just not a fan.
The main focus of the story is Erin and Ace, I was hoping for more background info on the MC itself. The guys went on “runs,” but there was no mention of what they were really doing. Honestly, I felt like the members, with the exception of Rogue, really didn’t have any personality.
I had a hard time getting into this story, the lack of emotion, the lack of chemistry just didn’t do it for me. If you’re looking for a romance story that has a motorcycle involved, this would be perfect. If you’re looking for a gritty MC romance, I wouldn’t recommend this.
Lee’Anne –
This isn’t your typical MC romance and not in a great way. This was an okay read but I really felt that the main character was extremely immature, especially at the beginning of the book.
Erin Dawson was raised by her mother and the man she thought was her father, until she finds a birth certificate proving otherwise. Now she’s on a mission to find her birth father – which leads her to the door of the Cursed Ravens MC. From the moment she walks through the doors she can’t take her eyes of the handsome Ace and Ace is ready to have at her until she reveals who she is – the president’s daughter – which makes her officially off limits.
Once Erin meets her father, her immaturity begins to flourish – to me, Erin became very entitled after she finds out her father is the MC president and I just really didn’t much care for her character. I really like the story itself, it had an interesting plotline and a good pace – I just couldn’t really stand Erin. I love the MC guys, they’re interesting and I’m looking forward to them getting their own stories. I also really loved Erin’s best friend – enough that I almost wish Ace had wound up with her instead, lol.
Reviewers on the Wicked Reads Review Team were provided a free copy of Ace of Hearts (The Cursed Ravens MC #1) by Chantal Fernando to read and review.
I’m going to start this review with words of advice. Drop everything you’re doing to read this. You’re welcome. Seriously, Chantal Fernando is incredible when it comes to writing MC romance and Ace Of Hearts is a beautiful example of that. I was hooked right in the beginning and this book didn’t let me go once. There was no slowing down the second Erin and Ace’s story began.
The perfect combination of sweet and swoony romance but still keeping the dirty grit of MC badas*$ these two were and incredible couple! Discovering her father is actually the president on an MC and determined to meet him Erin barges right into the lives of these rough men without batting an eye. Brave, funny, and genuinely sweet it was easy for me to adore her near instantly. Ace is a dream come true. Every bit the sexy and tough biker, he was so freaking perfect with Erin my heart melted every time they were together.
Usually the start of a series is my least favorite when it comes to reading simply because the focus tends to be on building the world more than the romance, but Chantal flawlessly introduces us to the world of The Cursed Ravens MC In way that leaves you craving the next in the series!
Ace of Hearts was a great read. I do love a young romance story, especailly if it’s in the MC genre. I fell in love with the cover and I knew once I read the blurb that I had to read this one. The story was well written and flowed perfectly and it had my attention from page one until the very last page.
Ace *sigh*, what a hottie! When you think MC hero, you think big bad a*s guy that is tough as nails. That is one of the things I love about Ace, he is tough as nails until it comes to Erin. I love her personality, she is one strong woman. When Erin came across her original birth certificate and realized who the man that was her “real” father was, she went out on a mission. Discovering that her biological father is in a motorcycle club is a shock and a huge adjustment for her. When she walks through the MC doors looking for her father she did not expect sparks to fly with another member of the club, Ace.
This is my first read by Chantal Fernando and will not be my last. Ace of Hearts is the first book in The Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club. I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book.
Great new MC series
I’m a huge fan of MC romance series; I adored Chantal Fernando’s Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series, so I was excited to dive into Ace of Hearts, the first book in Fernando’s new motorcycle series that focuses on the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club. There’s just something about being in the biker world, surrounded by badass alpha males who protect their own and go after what they want with grit and determination.
Erin Dawson’s world is nothing like the one she’s about to enter, but she’s hellbent on walking into the Cursed Ravens club and demanding a meeting with Gage who just so happens to be the Cursed Ravens’ president. But, as much as she thought she was ready to meet her father…as much as she’s always felt like the black sheep of her family, it’s clear that her world is about to be turned upside down in unimaginable ways, and when it comes down to it, she’ll have to decide if she’s ready to be the princess of the Cursed Ravens or go back to the sheltered world she never felt accepted in, letting go of any contact with her biological father or the biker who she was instantly attracted to as soon as their eyes connected.
As soon as Erin takes one step inside, she’s initiated into ‘club life,’ and her moniker of ‘Trouble’ seems to fit her to a T, and because Erin’s story is told from her own perspective, readers come along for the ride, experiencing every ‘first’ that Erin has, all the ups and downs that come with it, finding her way and understanding how things work inside a biker club as well as forcing her to either accept how it all works or move on from what might be a family of bikers that she’s always needed.
Erin’s a sassy, smart-mouthed heroine who can definitely handle herself in the environment she finds herself in, but there’s also a learning curve for her because she’s not used to the no holds barred attitude that dominates the Cursed Ravens’ bikers’ lives or the fact that not all of her questions will receive answers.
Ace is all about his club, his brothers, and the code they follow, but Erin is a game changer for him, and while she’s supposed to be off-limits due to her ‘princess’ status, what’s between them is undeniable, so they’re both willing to face whatever consequences might be handed down from Erin’s dad/Ace’s President.
I really enjoyed Ace’s Heart; the interactions between Erin and her dad as well as the growing bond between Erin and Ace. I did have a few issues with the conflict/main antagonists given the setting of the storyline and the potential threats that the club could face; it felt a bit too contrived, but even though I struggled with it, I get that there needed to be events/situations that would lead to Erin’s realization of where she truly belongs, and what occurred did get the job done.
I’m excited for Fernando’s new biker series, and I’m eager to be introduced to other members of the Cursed Ravens and see what trouble they can cause as well as see how these MC brothers react and handle the women who make these bikers’ lives both heavenly and hellish at the same time.
4 Poison Apples
I really enjoyed this book by this new to me author. This is the story of Ace and Erin. She recently discovered that her bio dad was a member of the Cursed Ravens. Having never met the man she travels from her hometown to meet him. Ace is a member of the MC and was intrigued with Erin at first glance. He knows that she is hands off being the daughter of the prez but there is something about her that draws him in. The attraction was immediate….I loved how they bantered back and forth with each other. I loved the special relationship Erin had with her bestie Knuckles….they cracked me up!! I was hooked from the very first page…I laughed, swooned at the hot steamy times, yelled at my kindle a bit lol. I can’t wait for the next book in the series and would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a good romance. Well done!
This is the first book in the Cursed Ravens MC series and by the end of this book you will be totally addicted and wanting to be patched in. As Erin takes the journey to confront her biological father after discovering her original birth certificate, her life is about to be turned upside down when she discovers she is the daughter of the President of the Ravens. Erin gets more than she bargains for when she enters the world of bikers when she starts to lose her heart to the treasurer of the club. As drama, chaos and near death experiences surround her new found family it is the connection that she shares with Ace that might just cost her the most. Erin is sassy, cheeky, bold and full of spirit and the men of The Cursed Ravens MC will not be able to stop themselves loving the Princess. Ace of Hearts will keep you captivated and gripped and have you so attached to these characters it will be hard to close the book. The attraction and magnetism between Ace and Erin is so hot and steamy you will feel it radiate off the pages. P.S. if you are a Wind Dragons MC fan you might just look out for a familiar name that appears. One hell of a ride for the first book in this new series and one that I will continue on until the very end.
This is the first book in a new series and it is going to be an amazing one if this book is any in. It is not your typical MC read, in that it is not dark. My best adjectives for this read are: cute, adorable, charming, delightful, sweet, soft, and humorous.
Ace and Erin were such fun. They developed their lust fast and I loved Erin’s humor and Ace’s ability to humor with her. I liked following their development. I do think that to some degree, the secondary characters stole this show.
I loved the brothers of the MC and their individual personalities. They all were amazing and such fun to read about. I did think tgat this story was more about the characters and their relationship and development and not so much on the “trouble” that was presented. The action seemed almost like an afterthought which I was okay with because the characters were so amazing. I will be reading the next in this series, and I am glad I took a chance on this author and this book.

I am a avid fan of Chantal Fernando, I fell in love with her Conflict of Interest series, and like that series the first in her Ravens MC did not disappoint me in the least. Ace of Hearts is a coming of age story with truth, lies and betrayal.
Erin and Ace come from two different worlds. Smart mouth and sassy, Erin claims what is rightfully hers as the princess of the Ravens MC, in the process charming all that she meets along the way. After finding her true identity Erin finds her father, Gage, who is the president of the Ravens.
Trust is built and broken, attempted murder not once but twice happens. A little girl finds her wings under Ace, and gains a family she never knew she had. Ace finds that hiding the truth isn’t always the best way to cover up what is truly meant to be.
This is my first MC romance and it probably won’t be my last. Tastefully written, you will devour this book. I give it a solid four stars.
I love MC books. It has to be one of my favorite tropes. I was really excited when this author started another MC series. This book was a good start to the new series.
Erin has just learned that she is not who she thought she was growing up. She is on a search for her biological father and it leads her to the Cursed Ravens MC and Ace. I loved Erin. She wasn’t willing to put up with people’s crap and let them try and manipulate her into doing what they wanted. She was strong, independent, loving and kind. I loved that she found a part of herself she always thought was missing and it was in the family of the MC.
Ace is an ambitious, hot, sweet, man. He stole my heart. The attraction and tension between him and Erin was off the charts. I loved that he was protective of Erin from the beginning.
There were a few questions that I had left unanswered and I am hoping maybe they will be answered in the following books. I really need to know why some thing happened and the motivation of some of the characters. I am looking forward to reading about some of the other Cursed Raven members and the feisty ladies that steal their hearts.
