“Las Vegas was the place to get hitched.”That wasn’t something I thought about. Marriage. Then I met Candy, a beautiful redhead with a svelte body.I knew I had to have her. I had to make her mine. One taste of her sweet lips and then I made her scream my name.I woke up to an empty bed, her wedding ring in the sheets. Our marriage wasn’t real.I let her go, knowing that she would come back to me.When … go, knowing that she would come back to me.
When she did, Candy belonged to someone else.
But I don’t lose.
And I’m not giving her up without a fight.
I married her and now she’s mine for good.
Her and my baby that she was carrying.

Very good billionaire romance. The blurb gives readers a good idea of what you can expect. I’ve read and enjoyed numerous other books by Ms. Wood but I am disappointed in the editing. When you have the wrong gender it’s easy to say it’s a typo but wrong character names etc take away from the story. I liked both main characters especially when Cole and Candy we’re together. There are steamy scenes but poor editing does take from the story. This book is part of the “Accidentally Met Him” boxed set. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write the review. I’m a fan of Ms. Wood.
Scott and Anna end up married through a set of misadventures. The story is ok. There are not any highs or lows it just goes along. The plot is simple. The characters are basic and so is the descriptions. It is a quick read that ends happily.
So, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, unless you are getting ready to marry the love of your life and find out that you are already married and it happened in Vegas. This was an interesting story because I wonder how could they not know they were really married and why did it take them so long to find out they were? I liked the story and the ending was perfect.
Unlike any other accidental marriage story!
It all started in Vegas. Where it will end? Can events of one night from years ago ruin Candy’s feature?
Colt can’t forget his wife even if he is trying hard going through throngs of one night stands never giving any woman a chance for a second time.
When Candy comes back to his life he is determined to make their marriage work even if he doesn’t understand reasons behind. He wants to know why she is the only one on his mind even after all these years.
There are so many obstacles that keep them apart. Obligations made, people trying to interfere and the fact that they do not really know each other.
This story shows that there is a fate and that we are destined to someone somewhere who is waiting for us. It shows that things are not happening without a reason and if we are destined to be with someone we can overcome every obstacle.
I liked Candy’s and Colt’s story very much. At the beginning Colt broke my heart a little bit but quickly regained my sympathy. Candy won me by being honest and how she handle her relationship with her mother. It is very nice, enjoyable read with some twists and unpredictable events in the story line.
This book was a lot of fun. The author writes a story where the heroine is getting married when the ceremony is interrupted by the groom’s lawyer who states the bride-to-be was already married. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas! Thus begins the story of Candy and Colt. The author writes with a very quirky sense of humor, but underneath it is a sweet romance with enough steam to be entertaining yet not graphic. There are complications and misunderstandings that keep the story well-paced. A fun and enjoyable read!
