My plan was simple: enjoy Paris, see the city I loved, return to the States and start my fabulous art career.Mark Acorsi had to ruin it all. He had piercing blue eyes and a jawline to die for. He was romantic and adventurous. He was sweet and daring. He was everything I ever wanted. He had the confidence and strength of someone who ruled the world. Turned out, that was because he did. Rich, …
Turned out, that was because he did.
Rich, powerful Mark Acorsi didn’t need me, so he used me and left me in the dust.
As much as I hated this man, I couldn’t seem to avoid him.
Six years later, I was offered my dream job—then found out he owned the company. If that weren’t bad enough, he was already trying to get me fired.
I wouldn’t quit just because my worst nightmare was in charge. I was going to show him that he couldn’t ruin my life again.
But he’d do his best to make it hell for me.
He’d do his best to make it impossible for me to resist him.
**Accidentally Hired is a standalone, 55K word romance novel, with plenty of steam, a guaranteed HEA and no cliffhanger **

This was a story that I really enjoyed. Zandra and Mark have a history, a short, fun, sweet, amazing, connection. I love how we get to visit with them in the past, go along with their journey from the beginning and mix that in with how things go now when they unexpectedly meet again. You can feel how intense their feelings are, that struggle, what to do… I love the deep connection and felt the story flowed well, giving us bits as we go along. Great!
They have a history and even though they have an attraction go their separate ways. There is so much both good and bad between them. He gets nasty with her and she gets determined to show him what she is made of. A volatile situation. Suspense, excitement, twists and turns, attraction, emotions and much more. I recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
A sweet second chance romance. Zandra and Mark meets in Paris first time. A lot happened and they got separated for many years.
6 years later they meet again. This time as an employer and owner of the company.
A lot happened, both with the company and between Zandra and Mark.
It was a fast paced story that got hot, several times. The characters were really good.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
Mark and Zandra have a past from her time in Paris one that ended badly. It is six years later and now they are working together at a company he is part owner of. When it comes to her attention he is trying to get rid of her, she takes it in stride determined to make sure that her work is above reproach. After all she still thinks that he is a rich boy hiding behind his parents money especially after what happened in Paris. Will they ever come to terms about what happened in Paris for closure and will it lead to a happy ending for the two? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Mark and Zandra have a troubled past they left in Paris. Rich, bad boy. Years later when Zandra interviews for a job guess who is part owner.
When Mark finds out Zandra is working for his company he thinks she is incapable of doing her job and tries to get her fired.
The news of Mark trying to get Zandra fired infuriates her. She’s more determined than ever to prove him wrong.
Now that the company is under fire Mark and Zandra must work closely together in order to save the company and push the sexual tension aside. No repeats of London.
A second chance romance.

I received a free copy of the steamy novel Accidentally Hired A Billionaire Second Chance Romance: Zandra and Mark by Amanda Horton and this review was given freely.
An easy flowing transcontinental story of attraction, love and art set mainly in California with flashbacks to their original meeting six years ago in Paris.
Socially awkward graphic designer Zandra moves away from her family in New York only to learn that her dream job in Silicon Valley’s company 2Resonance is really run by the guy who loved and left her,her first love Mark.
All in all I thought this was a good read. That being said it was not my favorite from this author and it was definitely not without some issues. On the plus side: The story line, the sparks, the tension and Zandra, who was a very likable female lead character. As for the negatives: I am never a fan of the timeline jumping around. Whether I am reading or watching something, this is a practice that annoys me. I much prefer to start at the beginning and work through unless there are special circumstances. That is just my own private pet peeve though. An even bigger issue for me was Mark. I truly did not like this character. His attitude and behaviors drove me right up the wall. If neither of these things turn out to be a problem for you you’ll probably really enjoy this book.
