I’m raising someone else’s kid.
My sister’s daughter, and where I thought I’d never make it as a single father bachelor, I was wrong.
This little girl has my heart. And only her.
Until a stray dog happens upon my place and we’re forced to call a vet.
And a beautiful woman showed up.
I didn’t believe in fate.
But it seems to believe in me.
The beautiful woman who helped us out with the dog shows … me.
The beautiful woman who helped us out with the dog shows up again later on a blind date across the table from me.
And I’m sold out for her before I realize what’s happening.
Pulling back is my only hope for survival.
After losing my sister, I’m far more protective of me and her little one.
But it’s a losing battle. No way I’m going anywhere, until I’m forced to.
It would seem I have a kid of my own in the world.
Maybe this is the breaking point where I can walk away from the all-consuming passion of my new romance.
Because I’m good with giving my time, my body, and all of my money.
But to her?
I’ve accidentally given all of me.
This is book 1 in a 3 part series. You will have to read books 2 and 3 to complete the story.
more
The first in this series starts off just so-so. Nothing really sparked my interest enough to say, “I’ve got to keep reading this!” It was OK. It is super short and I’ll be honest, I skimmed a good portion of it without really missing much. All of the scenes run into one another and are repetitious. The writing does not engage the reader in the story, it merely tells the reader what is going on. There is potential for this to be so much more. It just isn’t.
Accidentally All of Me Book 1 is a contemporary romance novel by Ali Parker. The story is about a guy named Harry who is the guardian of his 10 year old niece, Winnie. Winnie’s mom, who was Harry’s younger sister, passed away a year earlier in a horrible car accident. One day when Harry was about to drive Winnie to school, Winnie noticed an old dog huddled around their car’s rear tire. Harry and Winnie rushed the dog to the nearest veterinarian’s office where Harry saw the prettiest woman he had ever seen, and she introduced herself as Riana, who was the veterinarian.
Riana loves animals and always wanted to become a veterinarian. She and her good friend, who has taken a break from work after the birth of her son, opened the practice together several years earlier. One day Raina gets a call from her brother and he tells her that he has signed her up with a dating service, and that she has a date on Friday night. Raina is furious with her brother for doing this, but agrees to go on the date if he takes her off of the dating site after the date. When Raina arrives at the restaurant where she is to meet her date, she manages to get there first. After she’s seated at the table, who does she see walking towards her but Harry. It seems that his best friend had also set him up with the same dating service, and since he hadn’t dated since he had become Winnie’s parent, he decided to go on the date. Harry is quite pleased to see that Raina is his date, and she seems quite pleased to see him, as well.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are interesting and the story is good, but it is a cliffhanger. The story continues in Accidentally All of Me Book 2.
I really don’t enjoy books that you have to read 2 more to get the ending. if you cant find the others then you are left in limbo.
Predictable
It was a little slow at times and I would lose interest, not sure if I even finished it
Harry became parent to his 8 year old niece, Winnie, when his sister Theresa died in a car accident. From leading a carefree life… doing what he wanted, when he wanted and with whom and now Winnie is the focus of his life. He loves Winnie and will do everything he can to make her life the best it can possibly be. Co-incidents of finding a dog behind the wheel of his car lead them to meeting the gorgeous vet, Raina, and ultimately, them adopting the most lovable little dog who claims Winnie’s and Harry’s hearts. Harry is very taken with Raina and when her brother and his best friend set them up on a blind date they are both delighted with the date that they had been dreading. Sounds like life for the workerholic vet and the devoted uncle is looking up. But then Harry find out that he is a dad to a cute and poorly 2 year old little boy. Will Raina and Harry be finished just as they’ve met? This is a compelling story with fabulous characters and such a wonderful storyline. I loved how a four legged friend could lead to so much joy in life [yes, I am a pet owner and know first hand the love of having a pet]. Ali Parker grasped my attention right at the beginning and kept me riveted to the story till I reached the glorious ending. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED. This is now my favourite of Ali’s books.
Oh my gosh this was a sensationally heartwarming new read from Ali Parker, filled with so much heart, laughter, passion, friendship, and love. Harry is a single parent balancing family life and business life pretty well but with no room for a personal life. Raina is a vet too busy for a personal life. Fate definitely has a way of throwing curveballs in life, which is exactly what happens when these two meet. The chemistry and attraction between Harry and Raina is instantaneous and off the charts. I love the family dynamic between Harry, Winnie, and Raina and the easy friendship and love that developed between them and other characters. Accidentally All Of Me is a captivating new read that will have readers falling in love with Harry and his noble alpha male personality, quick wit, kindness, and compassion and Raina’s willingness to help those in need and her heart of gold. A must read that readers won’t want to put down. I loved it.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
This is one of those books that pulls on your heart chains for all ends. Harry Porter at one time use to be a playboy extraordinaire – no he is a family man getting over the grief of losing his sister. When circumstance has him Raina a vet he feels like life is headed the right way until another boomerang is thrown into the mix. Will Raina and Harry be able to hold to this new beautiful relationship a make it through life hurdles together.
Two thumbs up Ali!
I absolutely loved this book. So romantic and warming to the heart that ou can’t help but do that laugh – cry thing. Each person had our hearts melting but the dog I think stole the show. Each story ou give us makes us feel as if we’re right there. I can’t wait to see if the brother and best friend get their own story. Another hit Ali. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
Such a heartwarming story about many well written characters great storyline. And an emotional rollacoaster filled with such wonderful humour, as a blind date finds one sweet young hard working vet and a wealthy businessman who finds himself constantly in unexpected situations, only to discover the perfect person has been found and his life is complete.
I found the plot was good but a little slow
to start off but once I got into it I couldn’t
put it down.
The characters are alive on the page.

Wow this was a long read. We have two workaholics. One in tech and the other a veterinarian. Neither one is in a place for romance. Harry is raising his nine year old niece and Raina is just not interested in a relationship her animals are her life. But circumstances keep throwing them together. First a stray dog, then a blind date and circumstances continue. Until they realize tjey can make it work. But the stress keeps coming. Turns out Harry is a dad to a two year old boy that he knew nothing about. But when Allison one of Harry’s one night stands contacts his grandfather all hell breaks loose and the circumstances become complicated. At first Raina can’t take the hits that keep coming so she walks out on Harry just when he needed most. Only to realize she may have lost the only man she ever loved because she was scared of all the commitment. But his little boy was sick and so was the mother, his son Nico has a rare disease and the mother Allison has cancer. Poor Harry he just keeps getting hit with bad news. Just when things were finally looking up with tje loss of his sister and his niece Winnie doing so well and his love for Raina growing. Will they get a HEA, will Allison be a threat to Harry and Raina? Read the book to find out.
This one starts slowly, building over time and will keep you turning the pages. The storyline was heartwarming, well written and has amazing characters. It was nice reading Harry and Raina getting to know each other. Adding Winnie and the pets was a bonus. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Ali Parker’s Accidentally All Of Me is another great book by Ms Parker. It’s well written, great characters and a fantastic storyline. Harry and Raina will keep you turning the pages because once you start you won’t put it down. I definitely recommend this book and author. Grab it ASAP!!
I have voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced readers copy
I thought this was a really cute read. We have Harry who comes from a wealthy family and he has custody of his niece since his sister passed, he meets Raina a vet because Him and his niece, Winnie, find a dog at his house. Harry is a wonderful guy, he is raising Winnie and does everything he possibly can to do right by her so when he finds himself attracted to Raina he denies the attraction and brushes it off as a crush. He puts his life and needs last and puts Winnie and all her needs first which is amazing for a rich bachelor but he is also kind of lonely. Raina is an amazing vet she owns her own clinic and works hard, she doesn’t have time for an outside life she’s dedicated to helping animals and that’s all. These two have gone so long putting themselves last in their lives fate kind of takes over and shoves them together in different ways. I loved watching these two and their attractions grow, I loved how well they got together, and I loved how dedicated they were to others. It’s cute but at times it kind of was repetitive with them denying their attractions because of responsibilities, it tended to go on and on or at times be too in their own heads. Also for them to deny themselves then go full force was ok but Raina was so insecure in other ways like she didn’t belong in his life but she was so accepting of certain things towards the end that I feel like she would have taken some time to think if she could handle the issues that came about and those issues at the end felt like just added unnecessary drama because poor Harry has already been through so much and is finally getting things he wants then bam drama then it wraps up all nicely especially for two people who at the beginning of the book were so uncertain if they should or even would have time for a relationship. Other than that it’s a cute read and I absolutely loved Harry and hope Yara gets a book.
A lovely look into the life of an instant father trying to date
Raina, a veterinarian, meets Harry, billionaire business owner, and his niece when they show up at her clinic with an older stay dog. As the story progresses they keep running into each other, a helping hand is lent, and determining the path they want for the future can get all mixed up. Ali Parker’s Accidentally All Of Me is a lovely look into the life of an instant father trying to date and make sense of his new normal. I can’t wait to see if she has anything planned for Yara.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Harry calls a vet for a dog his niece finds and Raina comes calling. There is great chemistry between them, however, Harry is concerned because he is raising his deceased sister’s daughter and gives her all his time. The characters are lovable and the story line is well detailed including the hot scenes. I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.
Another great book by Ali Parker. A slow burn romance that I didn’t want to put down. Very well written and the character development is great.
