I never expected to see Wyatt back in town again. Never… ever. I also never expected to end up being married to him. To clarify, our marriage is as fake as plastic. He was my brother’s best friend. And he didn’t hesitate to break my heart ten years ago. Disappeared into thin air and joined the military. I couldn’t even call him to say that I was pregnant. I’d been quietly living my live with my … pregnant.
I’d been quietly living my live with my daughter before he showed up.
Announced.
Looking more handsome than ever before.
With more scars than I can count.
He’s all fired up to save our town, Salvation.
I have the same mission as him.
And it only made sense to do whatever it takes.
Turns out, a fake marriage would fix things.
But if things go south…
If he finds out the truth about our daughter…
Then trying to fix everything else may eventually break me.
‘Accidental Love’ is a full-length second chance secret baby romance, with loads of forbidden naughtiness – the kind that makes you go weak in the knees. This is Wyatt and Sinclair’s story, set in Salvation, a small town in Nebraska. Enjoy this fake marriage standalone novel that promises a very sweet and emotional HEA!

I loooved this book!
As an author myself, I am currently trying to read as many “popular” and “tropy” books right now as I can. I’m still trying to figure out that balance between writing what I love and writing to actually turn a decent profit. As part of that, I’m currently reading a bunch of “fake fiancee” books. I get frustrated with books that seem to be “paint-by-numbers” books that take a popular trope, stick some basic characters in there, and it’s a license to print money. As much as I might hate it, that tactic WORKS. Fake fiancé books seem to always be successful, no matter the quality of the writing. I picked up Accidental Love and was prepared to dislike it. Then I read the preface and was prepared to hate it. In the first page, it became clear that this book wasn’t just going to capitialize on ONE trope. I counted four. On the FIRST PAGE. Fake fiancé, brother’s best friend, second chance, and secret baby. I promised myself that I could just skim the pages if I got too annoyed, taking what I learned from the book, and then move on. That proved completely unecessary, as the book sucked me in immediately. Wyatt and Sinclair were utterly engaging characters from the start, and I found myself rooting for them straight away. They were very young when they first fell in love, and then Wyatt went away for ten years to join the military and to escape his abusive family. Sinclair was pregnant but he didn’t know it. Ten years later, he comes back and fake marries Sinclair in order to save the family farm. I give credit to the author for coming up with a more plausible reason for the fake marriage than many others I’ve read. The stipulations were written in the 1800s when it made sense for you to have to be a family to run a family farm. Overall, this was a charming, quite steamy, and engaging read that took me by surprise. It goes to show you that it is possible to use a common trope and create a well-written and entertaining novel. I have no hesitation in recommending this novel as an excellent, romantic read!
I read this as part of the Fake Marriage box set that was newly released. My review is below:
Accidental Love really does set the stage with the introduction of the characters that we get to know a little at a time throughout the series. This is Sinclair and Wyatt’s story and communication was not their strong suit even ten years later where the story begins after the prologue. They still have a strong attraction which Sinclair is fighting as much as she can since she has a huge secret and only her twin knows the truth about it. Wyatt has his own secret but will he let Sinclair know what it is since he doesn’t see the relevancy, or does he? I loved how upon Wyatt’s return to his hometown he’s trying to save his family’s farm but has to meet certain requirements to do so. He’s all in but has to convince others of his reasoning. I loved how Sinclair’s daughter, Alyssa, was sometimes a little adult the way she spoke. She was a breath of fresh air whenever her mom needed to settle her thoughts.
The story is told in alternating chapters by Sinclair and Wyatt and thus from their point of view. I loved the importance of the oak tree to the story and how often it appeared. There’s of course a fake marriage with a solid reasoning for it and I was drawn in from the beginning. There are a lot of reminisces and arguments since Sinclair and Wyatt don’t seem to see things the same way. She’s deputy mayor and according to her boss can’t take a stand on proposals that come before the town and must stay neutral even when she knows she wants to save the small family farms in her town.
The story has twists and turns with lots of heat up the sheet moments along with family, friends, politics, romance, loving and love. There’s a happily ever after especially with the epilogue that takes place three months after the story ends but enough loose ends to take us to the other books.
I loved this book! Love Happily ever after stories!
I really loved this book and the author! It’s the first book I’ve read by her but it definitely won’t be the last! I really enjoyed every minute, I couldn’t even put it down once I started it. I highly recommend it!

This is a second chance romance focusing on Wyatt and Sinclair who were young lovers even though Wyatt was her brother’s best friend. Sinclair was pregnant when Wyatt went off to war unbeknownst to him. I recommend this well written and heartfelt book with its great characters and fantastic plot.

Never say never!
Accidental Love: A Fake Marriage Romance (Fake Marriage Series Book 1) by Ajme Williams is a well written second chance romance that really puts these wonderful characters through the emotional paces while exploring the chemistry that established itself in the past in super heated fashion.
The plot is engaging on three fronts – the second chance which showcases Wyatt as the perfect pursuer and highly persistent; the political fight that highlights Sinclair’s passion and career hopes; and finally, the secret Sinclair has kept from Wyatt for the ten years they had been apart.
Overall, a wonderful new author to discover and a great second chance romance with all the love any avid romance reader will appreciate, especially the HEA along with the promise of more to this series and maybe even appearances from Wyatt and Sinclair in future books.
Wyatt and Sinclair just can’t keep their hands off each other! Even after 10 years and deep hidden secrets, these two just can’t keep away from each others beds. This hot, steamy story of love refound is a true page turner and a heart warming tale. I couldn’t seem to put it down.
This is an amazing story that will take you on an emotional ride of ups and down that will pull you in and keep you on the edge through out.
Sinclair and Wyatt story began in high school, with Wyatt being Sinclair’s brother’s best friend they kept their romance quiet. With Wyatt having to leave quickly, it left Sinclair brokenhearted with a secret. 10 years later when he returns to more than one surprise.
Their story and struggles leads them exactly where they should have been.

Young love we have all experienced it. Some have went on to make a future out of it and others it just fizzles out. Not so in this case. Sinclair has a a major crush on her brother:s best friend Wyatt for ages. Wyatt finally stopped running and gave in. What should have been the best years suddenly came to a halt when they were eighteen. Asking Sinclair to go with him and being refused set the pace of this love going wrong. Ten years later and the past comes back. Sinclair is happy with her life being the Deputy Mayor of Salvation and a mother all is good until Wyatt returns. Doing his stunt in the armed services Wyatt returns home to help his mother out. When these two meet back up, its like the fourth of July all fireworks. But with one little problem, he doesn’t know about his daughter. Will he stick around this time or will the open road call his name again. This is a book that comes full circle, so grab a copy and enjoy the ride.

A riveting second chance read! It is a well written, interesting, and passionate read that moves along at a brisk pace. It is action -packed with drama, suspense, humour, intrigue, and so much more. The characters are likeable and well written; their chemistry is off the charts. An on the edge of the seat read that is very interesting, un-put-a-down-able, and strongly recommended!

In this book we meet Sinclair Simms & Wyatt Jones. 10 years earlier these two thought they found a love that would last a life time. The hiding and his father’s abuse made it something that lasted until Wyatt just had to go. Sinclair couldn’t leave with him at that time so he took his leave and didn’t look back. That is until 10 years later his mother gets in touch with him and lets him know she needs him home immediately. See there is a land developer who is trying to buy the farm and without an heir on the land it can be sold. Wyatt may hate his father but wants the land and will not sell less than what it is worth to this company. Sinclair is a deputy mayor now and believes that all people should get what they need. The mayor tells her she can’t chose a side in this because the people of the town want jobs and the farms don’t want to lose their land. Either way she doesn’t believe that they should loose the integrity of this town just for a job at a prison they want to build. Though they both have strong beliefs on how things shouldn’t change does that mean the same for them. What happens when everything that has happened in the last 10 years comes out? Will this be a HEA or another thing they wish could have happened?
This is an amazing story full of ups and downs I want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
This was a great book that was full of pages with well developed characters and engaging storyline and plenty of chemistry to keep me entertained.

As a teen, Sinclair had a huge crush on her brother’s best friend, Wyatt. They spent a single night together under the oak tree in her yard before Wyatt disappeared from their lives to go into the military, leaving Sinclair with a secret. When Wyatt returns to help out on his family’s farm 10 years later, Sinclair has become the Deputy Mayor of their small town and is a single mom. To battle a ruthless businessman who wants to buy up the local farmland to build a prison, Wyatt proposes a fake marriage with Sinclair, including playing stepfather to her child. How will he feel when he finds out that he is actually the father from that night 10 years ago? Will their fake marriage become real as their love for each other is revealed? Can they defeat the plan to build a prison and support the farmers of their small town together?
This book is well worth the read to find out. The love scenes are steamy and the characters are relatable. This is another hit from a great author.
Second chance romance at its best with just enough steam…
Sinclair Simms had a huge crush on her brother’s best friend, Wyatt Jones. She “chased” him for years before he finally relented and took her under the big oak tree in her backyard. They had just graduated from high school and before she went off to college in the Fall, they were going to share an idyllic summer together. Their story went partly that way until one-night Wyatt came to get her. He needed to get out of town and asked her to go with him. They were only 18yo. She said no…
Fast-forward 10 years, Sinclair has a responsible job as Deputy Mayor of Salvation, Nebraska, she is well respected and is single mother to a 9yo daughter. After joining the Army and serving in the special forces, Wyatt returns home b/c his mother needs his help on their ranch and his father has run off with a much younger woman. Good riddance! When Sinclair and Wyatt meet again…smoldering scene. But it gets better! Will their fake marriage work? What happens when Wyatt finds out about Alyssa?
Let me say right here that I’ve read quite a number of “newish” authors’ books and many had really good plots but the finished product needed editing and cleaning up. Not with Ms. Williams’ books. They are all well-written, sweet and steamy stories to just bask in. I have now preordered all the next books in this series. I get the feeling that although we see an HEA for Sinclair and Wyatt, their nemesis, Simon Stark has not given up his desire to purchase farm/ranch lands in Salvation. And, I don’t think his plans are going to be friendly.
Although I was offered an ARC of this book, I decided to buy it and volunteered to review. I heartily recommend this book to lovers of steamy and sweet romance. Read it. You’ll see.
I loved this book. I enjoyed how something that was “fake” turned into real. I loved the storyline. I enjoyed the magnet pull they had towards each other. And i certainly loved the HEA. It was a well written book and i would defiantly recommend this!!
This a great second chance love story between Sinclair & Wyatt. When he left 10yrs ago Sinclair found herself pregnant & has brought up her daughter by herself but now 10yrs later he is back home needing to be married to keep his families land. He asks her to be his pretend wife & the chemistry is still there between them but I was worried about how he was going to react when he finds out that he has a 10yr old daughter he had never been told about. There is a lot of drama but also had me welling up at times & I couldn’t put it down until I found out whether they got together for a happy ever after.

Wyatt and Sinclair were high school sweethearts even if they didn’t date long after high school. When he left her he left a big surprise behind. Sinclair raised there daughter just fine alone until Wyatt shows back up 10 years later to help his mom with the ranch. Will they reconnect and become a family?
This was a great read that I had a hard time putting down! The ups and downs had me turning the pages way past my bedtime! You can feel the chemistry between these two and you really want them to work out! I can’t wait for the next book in this series of stand-alones!
