As Bella was mourning the death of her beloved grandfather Jonah, she realized how much she missed the ranch and the time spent with him growing up.
I liked the way the author wove in the family dynamics in Bella’s romance with Drake.
This fast paced story was more than a romance and packed with emotional and sensual drama.
I loved the storyline and pacing. Easy to read and follow, with steamy chemistry and scenes that lit up the pages of my e-reader.
Kudos to the author for the complex storyline as Drake’s focus and desire to catch the murderous “dragon” added a depth to their romance.
A well written, fast paced treat from start to finish!

4.5 knightly stars
Accidental Knight is a crazy wild ride of secrets and hidden agendas, but at the end of it all, it is an amazing love story.
This author continually gives us stories filled with hope, twists, turns and love that we all dream about.
Drake and Bella’s story is not that it seems from anyone views but these two make something big out of the circumstances they were given. They were brought together by loss and fight to remain standing through it all and let’s not forget the amazing Edison who played such a huge part of their HEA!! I loved him so hard!
If you have never read a book by this author, this is the perfect place to start! You will not be disappointed!!
This is very funny, suspenseful and steamy. Some of the descriptions will catch you off guard and you’ll find yourself laughing out loud, because you can’t help it. Bella is timid and naive, so when her grandfather left his company and ranch to her, he also left her a husband. Someone who could protect her from being bullied by her parents, and give her the confidence she needs to deal with the nasty people who will be after her. Drake is the husband she didn’t know about, but soon become her shield and rock. He’s tough, intense and determined. His help turns her into a strong, brave and cheeky woman. Their relationship has a lot of ups and downs, but they make a great couple. The prize for best character though goes to Edison. He’s smart and funny with a sassy attitude. A fascinating storyline, along with the interesting characters, made this hard to put down.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
I have been wanting to read this author like forever with always seeing the promos on the books. Finally when I seen this when and read the snippet that was all it took to finally open one up. Being a grandparent myself I think that helped when that sneaky ole grandpa had a hidden agenda makes me chuckle here and there through this. I was also curious from the get go on how and where this would go with me getting those answers delightfully. The added bonus is the suspense too that will catch you and bind you up. Drake does his fair share of wrapping us up too. Anyways I was very happy with what I read with hoping I catch another one sooner rather than later.
This story is so darn good!!! I just couldn’t put it down, page after page the romantic suspense plot just pulls you in and hooks you good and proper. Bella has the endless love of a wonderful Gramps, which more than makes up for having parents who really don’t seem to care about her. Add in the most wonderful horse ever, Edison, who loves candy canes, yes candy canes, but will only take them from Bella. He’s also the best latch picker ever, always escaping his stall. Then we need to add in a proxy marriage, boy that through her for a loop. But what a hunk he is, Drake, he was Gramps’ companion and helper as his health diminished. I didn’t like Bella’s parents, wished I could slap her mother a time or two, her father pretty much just went along with whatever she said. (Sorry that my thoughts seem to be all over the place) I just loved this story, I love all of Nicole Snow’s books but this one is in my top 3. I could say lots more but really don’t want to give the story away. Mysteries are solved and the book has a most wonderful HEA. Get this book and fall in love with Bella and Drake. I did receive a ARC copy and this is my honest review. I’m also going to be borrowing the book from Kindle Unlimited so I can reread it.
I thoroughly enjoyed Accidental Knight. This story has an imaginative twist on strangers ending up married. I loved both Bella and Drake. Neither is what they first appear to be and both are complex and realistic. I’ve never had a horse like Edison. He was amazing and a huge plus to the story!
There are enough diversions to keep the reader guessing how the story is going to turn out and what’s really going on. The tension between Bella and Drake ebbs and flows. Periods of positive interactions and a growing attraction or interrupted with moments where one or the other questions everything.
I cried, I laughed and I shared the joy over a great big happily ever after. How did I get this far without adding – HOT. Sexy, sexy, sexy.
This was my first Nicole Snow but will definitely not be my last. Read this book!
Accidental Knight by Nicole Snow
If you want a book that is hot, steamy and full of action then Accidental Knight by Nicole Snow is the book for you. This story starts off with a bang and just keeps on going. This story has two of the best heroes in it in the form of a gorgeous tattooed man and a beautiful black horse named Edison, yes, I said a horse! Snow is a master wordsmith and tells the story of Drake and Bella perfectly with just the right amount of descriptive writing and easy to follow dialogue. Accidental Knight is a great 5-star summer read that everyone should get!
Bella Reed is hit with shock after shock following the death of her beloved grandfather. Not only did “Gramps” leave her his oil company and ranch but his horse and his handy-man Drake Larkin. Bella is immediately drawn to Drake, but he is as quiet as a mime. Having been with “Gramps” for several years Drake is aware of the detailed will that he left along with the hidden dangers that might come Bella’s way with her new inheritance. Bella is unaware of all that is waiting for but as the dangers begin to present themselves Bella is glad that Gramps left her with Drake. Drake is a formidable force that fills the role of jack-of- all trades, including being her knight in shining armor even if only by accident.
This touching story is filled will drama, mystery and intrigue. Bella comes home for her grandfather’s funeral. She is devastated because she didn’t know that he was ill. When the will is read everyone is in an uproar and to top it all off she was tricked into a marriage. When the dust clears, it’s not her parents she have to deal with but the lurking danger of an oil company that will try to take everything from her. Will Drake be able to keep her safe? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Bella’s grandfather has left everything to her after his death, much to the dismay of her parents. Buried into the stipulations is a proxy marriage to Drake, her grandfather’s security/companion. Everyone wants a piece of the estate and all the responsibilities have been laid on Bella. Lots of drama, kidnapping, corruption, murder and attempted murder. No shortage of spicy moments. Really great read!! Grabs you at the beginning and holds onto you until the end!!

I enjoyed this book. The characters were likeable, or detestable. Edison was funny. The plot was firm and intriguing. The storyline, though unbelievable, was made believable. The author’s writing is fantastic. The energy, tension, and suspense had me eager to finish. The pacing works well also. I would recommend this read to those 18+.
I received a free copy from Booksprout. My review is given freely and my opinion is my own.
It is 3:36PM, I’m at work, and I feel like I just got hit in the head by a horse. I just finished reading Drake and Bella’s story, and I feel like I am rambling, my mind is blank.
But before anything, I have to say that I received an ARC of this book, and I am definitely voluntarily giving an honest review!
Okay, take two.
I still can’t find the words to describe how I feel after reading Accidental Knight, because, honestly, I. AM. SPEECHLESS!
No, I am in awe. My review here won’t be about the story. I would leave it to you, dear readers, to read this one by Nicole Snow, and find out for yourselves why I am at a loss for words.
I will tell you instead, of my experience with Nicole Snow’s writing style, and why, several books later, I am still a fan. Here is what I wrote then, when she offered me the story of James and Faye in Still Not Love:
~~Nicole Snow’s writing style. It has been a while since I came across an author who writes so flawlessly—not one grammatical error, no misplaced sentences, no thoughts jumping all over the place. Plus, the way she builds up her words—the sentences flow like water on a stream, or should I say, like her characters~~
I will tell you that Nicole Snow never failed in leading me through the story, making me feel like I was right there along with Drake and Bella, experiencing their heartache, their laughter, and their tears.
And I will tell you that I fell in love with Edison, Bella’s lovable beast of a horse, and I hope—no, I know, that you will fall in love with him too.
So go ahead and take a chance with this author, and learn why I am in awe.
This book was so awesome! First of all, I adored the characters. Bella might have been young and beaten down but she was never beaten. And Drake-this author creates the swooniest, Dirty-talking guys. Drake tries to right wrongs and loses sight of some really important things on the way. Both of them have flaws that the other balances out, they were perfect for each other. Edison was the icing on the cake. I even enjoyed the secondary characters, and their evolution through the story. The plot was cleverly suspenseful and I admire the way the author revealed parts of the story, especially Drake’s past. This has to be one of my favourite reads by this author.
I sooooooo love reading books by this author and they keep getting better and better, if that’s even possible. This one about Drake, an ex military man who has his demons from the past who worked for an older rich man and upon his passing, his next mission is to protect his granddaughter, Bella. Bella has had a very comfortable upbringing, in spite of her parents and the feud between her parents and her grandfather, so when he passes and leaves everything to her, her parents go in for the kill wanting what she got. But her grandfather put in provisions in the form of Drake, her husband and protector, a major fact she doesn’t know about, as well as the danger surrounding her now that she has control of his company. Drake made a promise and plans on keeping it, he will protect Bella from her parents and anyone else who wants her gone…can he do it.
Oh my goodness, holy yum, and yes yes yes !!! An amazing read with melt an iceberg and I need a cold shower steamy scenes, suspense that had me on the edge of my seat, twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and characters that I couldn’t help but fall for. The story flowed beautifully without missing a beat and I LOVED the fact that Drake was not a man wh***, that there were no women coming between them and that there was no over the top drama or unnecessary drama between them….when they knew what the other meant to them…they knew.
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Complete the mission. But buckle up, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
Excellent read.
It starts with the passing of Jonah Reed, the man who bankrolled his son, his daughter in law and his granddaughter.
Annabelle “Bella” Reed is 24 and has just inherited all her grandfathers wealth, ranch, oil company and horse, Edison. Can I just say Edison was one of my favorite characters? Smarter, too. Oh, and a husband by proxy, she was tricked into signing for.
Drake Larkin is a tatted, potty mouthed military man on multiple missions. Protect Bella from her parents and a Dragon.
Can he accomplish his missions?
And get the girl?
Incredibly fast paced, funny, action packed with a dash of suspense.
Highly recommend.

Bella is in for a long ride When she has to marry Drake to fulfill her Grandfathers Will and get her inheritance. What she never expects is the attraction and feelings she develops for the grouchy man. Will this be more then just an obligation? Don’t miss how they clash with each other and yet do so much.

Accidental Knight: A Marriage Mistake Romance is a great read. engaging, captivating and steamy read, filled with action, suspense and drama.. well written, strong characters with plenty of steam, another great book by the author, well done! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book!
I really enjoy reading this author’s books. I always pick it up with anticipation, finish reading it and I am left with a silly smile on my face. This book is no different. When I first read the book blurb and the description of Drake – I am thinking that a girl has to be crazy not to jump all over that. This book contains so much and I am so glad the author took the pages needed to ensure everything got its own little bow. Bella returns to the ranch after her Grandfather’s funeral and reading of the will to find a surprise, Drake walks out of the bathroom half dressed. Bella learns that Drake does not say a lot but if watch his face, you will see all you need to know. I struggle with this review as I do not want to mention anything to spoil the story but at this point feel the review is lacking in splendor. This book has so much in it, including a few twists and turns that bring the characters together as much as it attempts to tear them apart. This is just a fantastic read and you have to give it a read.
