It’s all fun and games in Vegas… until you accidentally marry your best friend.Last night, I married Jules. That’s right, I married the girl who thought I had cooties in fourth grade.Yeah, we drank a few too many shots of tequila. We danced a little too close. But nothing prepared me for the taste of her lips. All of a sudden, we were in a borrowed limo (don’t ask), ripping each other’s clothes … ripping each other’s clothes off, whispering dirty promises.
Then I was on one knee, asking her to make it forever. And she was saying yes.
This morning, everything changed.
She wants to erase our night. Go back to normal.
Only there’s no more normal. I’m acutely aware of her long legs, her soft curves, her sweet moan.
Mistakes be damned.
She’s my wife. I’m not about to let her go.
Accidental Husband is a standalone accidental marriage romance full of heat, humor, and heart. Come see why readers say “no one writes broken bad boys like Crystal Kaswell.”

Accidental Husband is the 7th book in the Inked Hearts collection by the amazing Crystal Kaswell. The book was steamy and moved forward well. Though Griffin is not my top Inked Hearts hero, he is certainly in the top three. Jules was wonderful and this is the first time I’ve read a book with the mental conflicts Jules faces. I was able to connect with her in many ways, though not all. Griffin sweeps Jules off her feet with his version of romance, though they both fought the connection. If you haven’t read Kaswell’s Inked Hearts collection, you really need it. It’s one of the best collections out there!

Checks all the boxes and then some
Accidental Husband by Crystal Kaswell is another well written and beautiful romance book in her Inked Hearts series. Witty, fun, steamy and emotional, she brings Jules and Griffin to life in vivid detail. From their delightfully amusing banter, insistent protestations and denial to their all encompassing connection and all consuming chemistry and attraction. These two are perfect for each other in spite of the obstacles of their own making.
I would be remiss if I didn’t give credit to this author for once again highlighting social issues of hiding/ignoring mental health. Jules struggles with a very real real-life issue and I felt this author handled it respectfully and with the best of intentions.
Overall, a very enjoyable read with fantastic characters all around that brought a smile and laugh out loud moments. Absolutely adored the epilogue and HEA.
I read an ARC of this book via Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
So freaking good! Crystal Kaswell you have done it again, I freaking love the Inked Heart guys and the new additions are just as fun. I can truly say that I will pretty much read anything that she puts out because she does the broody sexy guy SO FREAKING WELL. Except in this book’s case, Griffin was not super broody, but he definitely was intense!
Jules and Griffin have been BFF for a freaking while and have always been there for each other. She has always been in a relationship with her long term boyfriend/fiance and he was kind of a manwhore and did not discriminate. All of this comes to a head when Juliette tells Griff that the wedding is off. When he takes her on a trip to Vegas and they are both completely single it is if the two of them are finally seeing each other and then BAMM the next morning they are married.
Read this book and take this wild ride with the characters the amount of depth in this book is what makes it so freaking good and trust me, it is absolutely a great read!
PS: I received a copy of this book for free, but am voluntarily reviewing it!
Story that off shoots from Inked Heart series
Jules- I got a secret I need to tell Griff….I have to tell him but I can’t…. I need to but I can’t…
Griff- sex…. I need Jules in my life…. if she hurts I hurt…. I can’t love, I don’t know what love really is, blame my parents….
80% is a lot of repeating for Jules about her secret that she sworn Griff 5 years ago to stop but don’t. Now with a unloving and cheating fiancé just adds to the pain to cause her secret. Griff thinks about sex. A. Lot. Especially when Jules texted him about her marriage is called off, it’s the top think he thinks she needs. They always see the other as their best friend and never crossing that line but that changes when that text dings to his cell. He wants to take Jules to Vegas with his buddies and their ladies to get her to find someone to take her mind off the problems, but backfires when he thinks about her in a whole new light. But Griff can’t love because just the word makes him sick to think especially the problems with his parent’s marriage but he knows that Jules is the one but can’t tell her but shows her, his way. Now to me with all the Lust between Jules and Griff it took away from the Love that they should be growing but it’s a lot of sex after the big secret is revealed until her parents schedule an appointment for Jules and Griff when things become worse…..
I’ve been waiting for Griff’s story and this did not disappoint.
What better way to get over a cheating ex then to fly to Vegas and marry your best friend.
The adventure they had during that drunken night was both so entertaining and super steamy.
Though the next morning was very awkward for them, it was nice to see that Griff was the one not wanting to let Jules go.
Jules was both confused and conflicted as what she should do. They both struggled with their feelings towards each other, never wanting to fully commit because they were scared to lose one another.
I couldn’t get enough of Griff and Jules, I just wanted to keep reading more.
I love how this series keeps entwining all the characters so you can continue to keep up with the witty banter and of course all the love struck couples.

This is the most amazing heart wrenching book! Griffin and Juliette have been best friends since they were kids. Jules has just called off her wedding and Griff is there to pick up the pieces. A trip to Vegas is where he plans for her to have a wild time. They have a great time …. together. They get drunk married. But it’s it’s back to reality when they get home. This book tore me up , I just wanted to hug them both. These two are adorable and hilarious . The book is the best!

What’s not to love about Vegas? The lights, glitz, parties…weddings? Griff and Jules wake up married in Vegas, but they aren’t strangers…they are best friends. To be honest, I had a hard time getting into the story, but I wasn’t sure if it was me or the story. Anyway, I kept reading. Griff and Jules care about each other, but Jules is obsessed with matcha everything and Griff is obsessed with wanting to do it…all the time. The steamy moments were good and he gave as well as he took. I sometimes forget these are 20-some year old people when reading. They are trying to be adults but they have issues and are still trying to deal with them. Like every human they struggle. There is more at stake than trying to figure out if they can stay married, or part and stay best friends.
Magnificent.
Another brilliant edition to the Inked Hearts series, Griffin and Juliette’s friends to lovers Romance was absolutely fantastic.
Friends since 3rd grade, but one night in Vegas leads to them becoming Husband and wife, after Juliette is going through a bad time and the one person she can always lean on is her best buddy Griffin. I Loved their relationship and how they behaved with one another.,I adored this couple. The marriage, although initially a mistake has them finally having to face their true feelings for one another.
I Love Crystal’s writing and how she always takes you on a meaningful journey with her characters. I really loved this story it is such a sweet, emotional, Romantic and sexy read that enchanted me all the way through.
I highly recommend this compelling book.
I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book and I absolutely loved it! Griffen and Jules have been best friends for years and after one crazy weekend in Vegas they are now husband and wife. Will they stay together or was this a what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas scenario. Kaswell did an amazing job on this latest book in the Inked hearts series and I absolutely loved it! I was definitely rooting for this couples HEA the whole way through. I highly recommend this book and the entire Inked Hearts series.
Sometimes, the best thing that ever happened to you is right before your eyes and has been for a long time. Griff and Jules have been best friends for what seems forever and yet they’ve never crossed the platonic line. It’s not that they haven’t thought about it, it’s that neither wanted to lose the closest friend and confidant they have. Jules is engaged to be married, but insecurities and the unknown in her life cause her to cancel at the last minute. Her friend Griff is there for her and he intends to take her mind off her troubles by giving her an exciting trip to Las Vegas. They go clubbing, have honest talks and it certainly gets exciting once they admit that their feelings are way beyond the friendship zone. It’s fitting that in Vegas, with a copious amount of alcohol in them, they get married. In the morning, they know that their marriage wasn’t a mistake and that they love each other. There are some trust issues that come up that endanger their future and they need to face them before they can go on. The ending is perfect and the epilogue is truly honest. Magnificent!
The character interactions and their quirkiness, 4+ stars, storyline and background, 3ish. I’ve read other books I really loved by the same author so it must be just this story itself. Not really into characters who sort of lack a more detailed description of their life outside the relationship…for some reason that matters a lot to me. Still…as usual, the author has lovely characters who connect realistically with readers.
What happens in Vegas, doesn’t necessarily stay there. In fact it can follow you home and throw you into a world of confusion, doubt and fear. Griffin and Juliette have been friends since grade school. They tell each other everything and with Griffin’s voracious sex life, that’s a lot of sharing. When Juliette calls off her wedding two weeks before the event, Griffin persuades her to go on a trip to Vegas with two other couples from the Tattoo shop. The only problem is that Griff is starting to look at Jules in a different way and Jules is realizing just how fabulously hot her best friend is. So what else would you do, but get married of course. In the city that never sleeps, you can do all sorts of crazy things and with an abundance of alcohol your inhibitions are already compromised. Sometimes though, it just makes you realize what’s been under your nose the whole time. But Juliette has a secret that she has lied to Griffin about for years. Can they learn to overcome their trust issues and commit to this marriage? Love this series and this book is another winner. Steamy, sweet and with all the Inked Hearts characters, this dual POV novel is well written, sharp and engaging. A real winner.
Accidental Husband by Crystal Kaswell is a great read. interesting, fun, emotional, touching and hot.great storyline, interesting characters with off the charts chemistry. well done! another great book by the author

I read the blurb and thought ‘this sounds like it’s going to be so cute and fun’. But I keep forgetting that a Kaswell title is going to be angsty and emotionally traumatic for the reader as well as the characters. It took me a while to get fully invested in this book. Most of the first half is spent just getting them to the alter. It was fun watching the dynamic between Jules and Griffin, and I understand why we needed to see them as friends in order to appreciate the issues facing them as lovers. I was just expecting more of the aftermath and less set up. And speaking of that aftermath; I spent the second half of the book trying to decide if I wanted to strangle the pair or hug them tight promising that everything would work out. One of the things I love most is that this book shows the pair getting professional help to handle their issues. Love doesn’t really solve anything, it just makes it easier to hang in when the road gets rocky.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book though Booksprout.
This is a wellwritten book filled with emotions and lovely characters. The storyline is great and captivating. Loved the chemistry between Jules and Griff.

I really love a good friends to lovers romance and this one didn’t disappoint. I liked that Juliette called off her wedding so she went to Vegas with her best friend Griffin and ends up married. I also loved that they were friends but still had some trust issues they worked through. Their chemistry was great and I was glad they got their happily ever after.

Another great story and read by Ms Kasweĺl. Her stories are always well written, cohesive and flow along easily. Her characterizations are wonderful and the repartee, not only between the two main male and female characters, but also between the group of friends. Key to most of Ms Kasweĺl’s stories is this, at times, rapid fire repartee, that is sharp, crisp and to the point. The inner dialogue of the two main male and female characters is well laid out and at times, well, many times actually, runs so true to everyday life. This aspect makes Ms Kasweĺl ‘s novels so believable. What can I say, I always find her work highly entertaining. You should check it out. Good Stuff!

Best friends, ending an engagement, a trip to Las Vegas and so much more. Griffin and Juliette have been friends forever and always support each other. This is a fun book with banter in the beginning but they have feelings that cause things to change between them.

I adore Griffin and Jules. This book was so good. One of Kaswell’s best to date. Griffin has earned his way up on my CK favorite book boyfriend list. And squee my absolute favorite was in this book a good bit. Dean forever, just saying. G&J’s relationship is a journey with do many layers and emotions. This book by far goes deeper into the self and I am left with so many feels. I absolutely cannot wait for Chase’s book. I highly recommend. I did request and receive an advanced copy and read again prior to this review. This is my voluntary, true, and honest opinion.
